Apartment in Kapparis, Cyprus - Beaches, Bars, Restaurants and Shops all Nearby

The apartment is situated in the coastal village of Kapparis, between the inland town of Paralimni and the resort of Protaras. Newly built, it is on the first floor and has a balcony with sea view. During the summer, the balcony has direct sun for most of the day and right into the evening. Kapparis is an up-and-coming and picturesque area. If you prefer a quiet, relaxing holiday, away from the noise of over commercialised resorts, but close enough to all the nightlife when you want it, then this is for you! A communal pool with sun loungers, changing rooms and showers is on site and a plenty of bars, excellent restaurants and several sandy beaches are all within walking distance. The lively but family friendly resort of Protaras with its many bars, restaurants and crazy golf is just 5 mins away. Ayia Napa is 15 mins away and has a fantastic water park, plenty of entertainment as well as a picturesque harbour where you can choose from many great boat trips.

"A very nicely presented property with ample parking and facilities provided. The owners helped over and above what was expected with regards to hire of cots and highchairs for our twins. The property is well maintained, tidy and clean throughout. The pool area is very good (although a little chilly in late October!!) Very comprehensive information pack sent made the transfer from larnaca by hire car a doddle to find the apartment.

Activity and Interests

Special interest holidays:

Cyprus is fantastic for walking/cycling holidays throughout the year, the area has miles of cycle paths and bikes are very inexpensive to hire locally. Scuba diving is widely available for those that wish to learn or are already qualified. The waters are clear and warm, with several excellent dive sites including the world famous Zenobia wreck. Horse riding is available nearby and boat fishing can be arranged from Ayia Napa harbour.


There are a number of sandy beaches within walking distance, the nearest being Fireman's Cove. If you follow the Kapparis coastal boardwalk through Pernera towards Protaras, you will discover plenty of other excellent beaches with golden sand and crystal clear waters. Fig Tree Bay at Protaras is renowned for having the best beaches on the island and is only a 5 minute drive away. A 10 minute drive takes you to the more lively Nissi Beach at Aiya Napa, with its beachfront bars and DJs.


It is approximately 40 minutes easy driving from Larnaca airport or around 2 hrs from Paphos. We can make arrangements for transfers to and from the airport. The cost is approx 45 Euros each way (from Larnaca), based on a maximum of 4 people, payable at the time. Please advise us at the time of booking if you require this service and our agents will contact you direct to confirm flight details. Please note that it is then your responsibility to advise our agents of any changes to flight times.


Pretty much everything you need is right on your doorstep in Kapparis. If you fancy exploring a little, the lively resort of Protaras, which offers a wide array of nightlife and award-winning beaches is just 5 minutes away, whilst Ayia Napa with its many clubs, pubs and restaurants as well as the famous Nissi Beach and Water park, is a 10 minute drive. The traditional Cypriot town of Paralimni is a 2 minute drive and has plenty of shops plus several large well known supermarkets.

Further Details:

There is a mini-market located just round the corner from the apartment which stocks a good range of essential provisions and newspapers, as well as a 24hr bakery (with some excellent cakes!) nearby. This can be very useful, particularly if you are arriving in the early hours of the morning! You will also find 3 large supermarkets and a pharmacy within a 2 minute drive. There is a wide range of tavernas and restaurants in Kapparis and the surrounding area. The main street, Kennedy Avenue has a number of excellent restaurants and bars catering for all tastes, some with live entertainment and karaoke!

As well as plenty of water sports on almost every beach, there are a host of activities from bungee jumping, diving and horse riding to boat trips and trekking in the Troodos Mountains. With its wealth of history, there are also many tours centred around the local Cypriot crafts, historical sites and ruins. Local buses run regularly in season, cost only €1.50 for any distance and you can walk to the bus stop.

Booking is easy - please view the availability calendar and contact us with the details so that we can reserve your dates. A 25% deposit is required within 5 days to secure your booking. The deposit is non refundable if the booking is cancelled by the client. Final balance is payable 4 weeks prior to departure date. A £100 (GBP) security deposit is also payable upon booking which will be refunded 7 days after departure, subject to a satisfactory inspection of the property.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is flexible, but vacation of the apartment must be by noon on the day of departure. Occupation from 14:00 on day of arrival, and very early or late departure/arrival will need to check availability.

Notes on prices:
The prices quoted above are for the apartment per week - not per person, in UK pounds. Air-conditioning is included at no extra cost. No price increases for school holidays.

  • Notes on accommodation: If you have any special requirements, please contact us and we will do our best to help. A comprehensive information pack containing directions to the apartment, keys and lots of general information about the area, will be sent to you once your booking has been confirmed. A mid-let clean and change of bedding can be arranged and we can supply a cot should you need it, each for a small additional charge. Outside: On the veranda you will find a table, chairs and a view of the sea. The pool area has showers, changing rooms and toilets. The apartment also has dedicated undercover parking to keep your car in the shade and cool. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and bedlinen are provided and the apartment will be fully prepared prior to your arrival. Please bring your own beach towels. Additional mid-let cleans with change of linen can be arranged for a small additional cost.
