Situated in a quiet area, yet only 10 mins walk from the shops, bars, restaurants and lively parts of town and the local and safe beach. Only 7km from the airport.

Fantastc Villa - Lovely Family holiday

We've just spent a week at this newly furnished villa with our 5 children. Villa was very spacious and clean with an amazing pool. Villa within close walking distance to bars and restaurants and supermarkets and beach so no need for a car. Villa very well equipped including a large TV with full English sky package including movies and sport. We all had a great time and would definitely recommend this Villa and area for a family holiday. Owners very friendly.

Great location but basic

Stayed here for two week holiday. Positives are very friendly owners, great location, nice pool and lovely views from roof top terrace. Had some challenges with the hot water system resulting in no hot water for 2 days (owners did send a plumber round) and the electrics tripping when the washing machine was on, resulting in being thrown into complete darkness on several occasions. Also unfortunately had mice visiting us in the evening. Overall a good budget villa but sadly too many compromises during our stay.

A lovely villa with all the amenities you would wish. Three minor things that need improvement are shower heads in both rooms need clearing, some electric points are very loose from the wall, a bigger sun shade needed outside. However we would happily reccommend this villa.

Quiet and unspoilt this villa is in an area that can provide you with tranquillity whilst being just a short walk from the town centre where everything you should need is on hand.

Activity and Interests

Car: not necessary


Safe, sheltered and gentle sloping beach (ideal for children and non swimmers) with lifeguard, first aid and showers. Pedalos. sunbeds and parasols for hire. For your refreshments there are 2 bar restaurants, a gift shop for all your needs and toilets. There is also a large car park so you can drive, or you can walk to the beach which is ideal for kids and adults.


Mahon airport is approximately 7 km from Cala’n Porter. The island has an extremely beautiful coastline that is unsurpassed around the world. If you wish to hire a car we can recommend some local car hire companies.


Menorca is a very pretty island and no where is very far, as the island is only 44km long and 14km wide, the island has several water parks of varying sizes and distances from Cala'n Porter, go kart racing, trotting racing, horse riding, boat trips from a number of places around Menorca. There are diving schools and if you really want to splash out you could charter a boat. Market days in Mahon are Tuesday and Saturday morning and Cala’n Porter has a small market in the evenings twice a week. Sunday there is a car boot sale in Mahon.

Refundable Damage Deposit £100

Security Deposit:
The security deposit is paid within the final balance as a safeguard for the owner and guest against any damage or neglect during the stay. No deductions will be made for very minor things which are brought to the property managers attention during the stay or upon departure, it is just to cover accidents which could have a financial bearing on the owner or instances where acceptable care of the property has not been taken by the guest. Once a check has been made on the day of departure and all bedding etc. checked for unreasonable staining the deposit is returned directly to the bank account it came from.

Changeover Day:
Friday only in July and August. We may be able to accommodate more flexible dates outside of these peak months.

The house is available for access from 14:00 and must be vacated by 10:00 on the day of departure. This is non-negotiable in July and August but there is a hotel in the town centre that rents a room for cases. (please pre-book this with the hotel on your first day of holiday to avoid disappointment). During May, June, September and October we may be able to allow an early entry or late departure depending on the flight times of the guest before or after you.

*A 25% deposit is required to reserve the dates.
*For very early bookings a further 25% is required November/December the year prior to your stay.
*Any remainder is paid 3 months prior to arrival.
*The first 25% deposit is non refundable, please ask for further details.
*Currently we can only accept bank transfers or cheques.
*Split payments of the deposit can be arranged if required.

Beautiful garden with fruit trees. Rooftop terrace with spectacular views and suitable for sunbathing. There is also a built-in outside BBQ, tables and chairs seating 6 persons and parking for up to 2 cars. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The villa is cleaned prior to your arrival and complete with bed linen and towels. All bed linen and towels will be changed weekly. Beach towels not included. Mid week / weekly maid service can be arranged but must be done so prior to arrival and the fee agreed. Personal chef and car hire can be arranged prior to your arrival.
