Excellent central location this apartment forms part of a contemporary development, offering security and privacy as well as understated luxury.

Air-con/heated and furnished to a very high standard with 2 sunny balconies.

The swimming pools attached to the apartment block allow for easy supervision of children. Set in beautifully landscaped gardens with fantastic views of the pools/gardens and sea, this is a great choice for everyone as it is within a short walking distance of the Strip, beach and Old Town.

Many of the top golf courses and other local attractions are a short drive away. Facilities include swimming pools, snack bars, restaurant, bar, shops, kids play area, crazy golf, underground car parking.

About the Owner

Anne and I are from County Tyrone in N. Ireland. We first came to Portugal over 25 years ago and fell in love with this beautiful sunny part of the world. We like to spend as much time as possible here enjoying the lifestyle and trying to play golf.

A few years ago we acquired 2 X 2 bed apartments in this outstanding complex in Corcovada very central to everything.

We have put a lot of thought and effort into making these apartments very comfortable for the enjoyment of our guests - a 'home from home in the sunshine' (whatever the season). We hope you agree!

Beautiful Accommodation, stunning location

The place is stunning and you can only feel like you are home. We were met by Joy who explained how everything worked . The apartment was very clean and so well equipped , we loved the massive private terrace where we sunned ourselves in the afternoons, the location is very good as well while the complex is quiet and peaceful as well as secure you were only 5 minutes from the “strip” where there is an abundance of bars, restaurants and entertainment.

The swimming area was very clean and great for cooling off in the sun. We liked

everything about it and would go back anytime.

This was my second time staying at this apartment and it certainly didn't disappoint . Lovely apartment , has absolutely everything and more than you could think of . It's in a great location within walking distance of everything. Pool is kept extremely clean . I'd definitely return

Christmas at Corcovada

I have just returned from a lovely 10 day holiday over Christmas and New Year at this Penthouse. The apartment is lovely, nicely decorated and fully equipped with everything you could need.

The agent (Joyce) is a delight to deal with and doesn't mind how many questions you email her with - we found her to very helpful when we arrived, she took the time to explain how everything worked, where to find the nearest supermarket and recommendations for restaurants in the area.

The apartment is very close to the new Town and is only a 20 minute walk to the Old Town which was our favourite and if you can't walk that distance you can take a 10 minute walk to the New Town and get the little train that drops you off at the top of the escalator near the beach.

I particularly loved the terrace outside the living room and kitchen it was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the view in relative peace and quiet.

I would be happy to recommend this apartment if you are looking for a bit of luxury that in my opinion is quite reasonable.

If I was going to say anything bad it would be that if you like a nice big towel to wrap yourself in after a bath or shower take your own.

Coast/Beach:

With over 3000 hours of sunshine you can enjoy the many glorious long sandy beaches in Albufeira. These golden shores with dramatic cliffs and rock formations make this area a wonderful destination both in summer and winter.

Many of the beaches have been awarded prestigious Blue Flags for their cleanliness. The nearest beach to the apartments is Santa Eulalia (approx 1km). It is approx 15 minute walk from apartment complex.

Travel:

Faro is the nearest airport approx 35km away, 30-35 minutes drive. Car hire is available at the airport.

Airport pick ups can be arranged, if requested. Taxis are also available at the airport.

As the apartments are centrally located to many of the local attractions, car hire is not essential. If, however, you want to explore the Algarve further car hire is available at very reasonable rates.

The local bus service is very efficient and reliable if you do not wish to drive.

Distances:

Excellent location close to the Globe roundabout with easy access to beaches, attractions, golf courses & nearby towns.

The "Strip" with its many restaurants, bars, shops & bull ring is only a 5 minute walk.

Beach 15 minute walk.

Nearest local golf course 10 minute drive.

Old Town/Marina 20 minute walk.

Algarve Shopping Centre with large number of shops, restaurants, cinema,15 minute drive.

Vilamoura/Marina 15 minute drive.

Lisbon 2 hr drive by new motorway.

Some of the world's best and most beautiful beaches in the entire world are to be found here. Albufeira is regarded as the tourist capital of the Algarve offering good cuisine, shopping, local markets, nightlife and relaxation.

The town itself offers an interesting contrast with its two distinct areas known as The Old Town with Marina, cobbled streets and newly refurbished square, and the well known 'Strip' with its many shops, restaurants, bars, bull ring and vibrant nightlife.

All types of holiday activities can be enjoyed including golf, water sports, horse riding, fishing, go karting and hill walking.

For those who enjoy sightseeing there are many places of interest including museums in Faro, children will love the science museum.

Other favourite local attractions include zoomarine, Aqualand, Splash/Slide which are a short distance away.

  • Notes on accommodation: The owner has a 2 bed ground floor apartment located in the same block 37 suitable for large families holidays, couples, golfers, group bookings. Wooden flooring in living room bedrooms & hall. Marble flooring in kitchen and bathrooms. Fully air-conditioned with heating. Balcony is fitted with wall/secure railings. Lifts are available to all floors with direct access from underground car park. Good selection of DVDs and CDs for everyone. Cots and high chairs can be provided, if requested ( small charge). Sorry smoking and pets not permitted. Outside: The penthouse apartment is adjacent to and overlooks the 2 swimming pools (Adults /children's). The large balcony enjoys a sunny disposition and is furnished with rattan furniture & sun loungers.
