Uniquely situated in the village of Arroteia, only 25 minutes from Faro and equidistant from the towns of Olhao and Tavira. This spacious 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom villa offers you the perfect opportunity to enjoy a wonderful family holiday in a tranquil and peaceful location near towns, shops and golf. Close by there are 2 small shops suitable for daily purchases, with supermarkets only a short drive away for full grocery supplies.

The accommodation inside is tasteful with plenty of space, and a bright and airy lounge diner leading to terraces at the front of the house and also at the back. The pool is 10m x 5m and has large surrounding patios with a supply of sunbeds for the sun worshippers, as well as table and chairs for dining with the traditional brick BBQ. Perfect for evening al-fresco dining. All rooms are with air conditioning, unlimited internet WIFI access and there is a large selection of Europeans channels available via the internet.

Coast/Beach:

Arroteia is unique in as much that it is on the coastal side and the house is less than a kilometre from the village bay where fisherman and clammers can be seen with their catch daily. The 2 local restaurants offer traditional Portuguese dishes at local rates and the fish could not be fresher. The beach at Tavira Island is a 10 minutes drive by to the ferry point, and is renowned as one of the best in the whole of Europe.

Travel:

Faro airport is only a 25 minute drive and Seville is approximately one and half hours by car. Olhao to the west and Tavira to the east are only a 10 minute drive. Car hire is not essential, though a decided advantage for seeing all the beautiful and scenic places of interest that this region has to offer. A good taxi service is available if required.

Distances:

The small town of Moncarapacho is only 5kms away and has 2 celebrated restaurants, shops and supermarkets for your every day requirements. Tavira and Olhao are within a 10 minute drive. The mountain region of Santa Catarina with its fabulous local restaurants and sites, is within a 15/20 minute journey.

Booking Notes:
To book please email with occupancy details. 25% deposit within 1 week of making the booking and the residue 8 weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit of £150 is required at time of booking. Please note that an additional charge of 75 euros per week is charged for air conditioning during the peak season, should you choose to make use of that facility.

Changeover Day:
Prices include cleaning before arrival, linen and towel change after one week and cleaning after departure
