A small apartment block offering spacious accommodation for couples or families. Having its own large pool and walled garden & playing area. Totally refurbished in 2017, the apartment offers a large living & dining area with balcony. A fitted kitchen consisting of cooker fridge/freezer/microwave. Leading from the hallway are the two spacious bedrooms both with balcony’s (extra beds can be sited if required). The master bedroom is ensuite & the 2nd bedroom has access to the 2nd bathroom from the hallway. This accommodation is in a well sort after location close to all amenities. The beach & centre are only 250 meters away. The apartment is positioned on the second floor, accessible by stairs only and is not suitable for wheelchair access.

I live in England, my partner and I both are retired and spend most of our holidays in Portugal, where we have made many friends there and have really fallen in love with the country.

We love Carvoeiro because of the fantastic facilities in the area. There are some beautiful beaches and range of bars and restaurants. There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible with Faro airport less than 45mins drive away.

What makes this apartment unique

The property is just two minutes walk from the fabulous beach. We provide umbrellas so you can travel light and make the most of the great coastline. For those who enjoy a more active holiday, you can take advantage of nearby golf course. If you are looking for great food we can also recommend restaurants that can provide delicious evening meals at reasonable prices. Just ask for information when booking.

'I wanted to write to say how much we enjoyed staying in your apartment recently. It was an excellent base for our stay in the Algarve. Our family of six never felt crowded there. The apartment was well equipped (even down to the coolbox and pool toys) and spotlessly clean. The Pay as you go air con and fans were very useful some nights. We loved the central location, but rarely found it noisy. It was great to be able to walk virtually anywhere at night, but never be too far from home to walk back. Our children loved the pool – it was nearly always just us there. At night, when the children were asleep we spent the evenings on the balcony ‘people watching’. In two weeks we were not bored! On road parking was rarely a problem, we usually parked along the road to the local market. I would also like to say how helpful and thoughtful your local agent were. Carvoeiro is situated approx. 75km from Faro airport with easy access by Motorway. A small lively pretty village/beach resort, close to main town of Portimao. Good choice of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the town centre beach. Combination of old and new architecture.

Distances:

Carvoeiro is a great resort for families who want lots of attractions to keep the little one’s occupied on holiday. It’s really close to the Zoomarine aquarium and zoo, Aqualand water park and Krazy World theme park. Silves 15-20 mins by car, the old Algarvian capital in Moorish times, is a must for all sightseers, the town, church and castle are seeped in history; there are also many fine shops and restaurants around.

Notes on accommodation: The accommodation is furnished to a high standard, was refurbished in 2017 Air conditioning on a meter charged at 4 euros per 10 hours. Very suitable for children of all ages. Due to the very low WINTER weekly tariff Between November and February : - Utilities electricity and water are metered on arrival and departure and settled separately at the local rate. Outside: Walled manicured gardens with a large shared pool not heated, providing a safe and private environment for guests. 3 balconies. For around the pool, 4 sun loungers, garden chairs and 2 sun parasols. Beach and pool toys. Utility's Washing machine, iron, ironing board Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Welcome pack can be provided if required on arrival. Maid cleaning is once weekly and on your departure. All bathroom towels provided and bedlinen provided. Towels and bedlinen changed weekly. Smoking is only allowed on the balcony due to fire alarms.

3 balcony central apartment

We really enjoyed our stay at Mark's apartment.This is a spacious and well stocked apartment.The two new bathrooms were excellent as was the new kitchen.It has a large lounge with two comfortable sofas.My favourite features were the three balconies where you could follow the sun all day,especially the one off the double bedroom where you could people watch at night!

We also really enjoyed the pool it is a good size, I swam in it every day late afternoon and we never saw anyone else the whole week.

Carvoeiro has great restaurants,bars and shops for a relatively small place there is a lot of choice.There is a new hop on hop off minibus service called Rota das Falesias (cliffs route) It is air conditioned and runs fron 9am to 11pm and costs 10 euros for 24 hours or 15 euros for 48 hours.I really recommend it .It stops at loads of places and on a hot day it was lovely to travel in air conditioned comfort !

Mark the owner gave us good and clear information and Indra who met us was also pleasant to deal with. I would recommend this apartment and I can honestly say that as we are already booked again for next year.

Fantastic apartment in perfect location!

My husband, 2 sons, mother-in law, and I stayed for 7 nights in Mark's apartment and I cannot speak highly enough of the accommodation and facilities. The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable, and was fully equipped with all amenities that we needed (towels, cooking equipment, crockery etc). The apartment was located in a perfect location, just 5 minutes walk from the main square and beach in Carvoeiro, and just 5 minutes walk to the beautiful Algar Secor. Numerous restaurants were located adjacent to and within close proximity of the apartment building, providing plenty of choice for even the fussiest of eaters (although no noise could be heard within the apartment).

The swimming pool and surrounding area were of a very high standard and were clean and tidy. We all enjoyed using the pool, and made plenty of use of the sunbeds and pool toys that Mark provided.

Mark was brilliant to deal with and returned our deposit almost immediately after we returned home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Carvoeiro and will most definitely be contacting Mark to book the apartment again for next year.

Spacious apartment with new kitchen and bathrooms. Air conditioning throughout. Situated close to town centre and all amenities. Good sized pool although didn't use it. Would definitely stay again.

A Home from Home

A lovely modern and well equipped apartment that is ideal for two couples. The location is excellent with good restaurants, cafes and shops right on the doorstep. It was a pleasure to deal with the owner and the information we were sent was both accurate and extremely helpful. The apartment is very central and in easy walking distance of the whole town. It is also convenient for travelling further afield either by car or bus. Our deposit was returned almost as soon as we got home. We would certainly visit again as the whole experience was first rate and helped make the holiday most relaxing.

Lovely Apartment

Great apartment, loads of space, very clean and nicely decorated; in a great location. Everything that was needed on a family holiday was provided - the kids loved all the 'pool toys' and we really appreciated having the pool 'furniture'. The pool was lovely, clean and quiet and we had it to ourselves most of the time. Our teenager loved that WiFi was accessible around the pool (though unfortunately not so much in the apartment).

Situated on the main restaurant road which was great for people watching - but no noise to be heard on an evening.

The location was perfect - being a short walk from the main beach, shops and restaurants/bars.

The correspondence from the owner Mark was excellent from start to finish, the complimentary wine he arranged at the local restaurants being a nice touch also.

All of the meals eaten out were great - we especially enjoyed Ele&Ela and Chef Antonio (opposite).

Of the waterparks - Slide and Splash was much better than Aqualand (though was twice the price).

The short walk to Algar Seco is an absolute must - exploring the rock formations and swimming in the rock pools was brilliant (along with the cliff jump which was a buzz).

We would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment or the resort to friends and family.

Great Apartment, Great Location

Great Apartment. This is our 5th or 6th visit to Carvoeiro now and this has been the best apartment location to date. A few minutes walk from the Square, the Beach and the restaurants/bars its a great location putting you right in the middle of everything. Its also just far enough away so that it isnt too noisy at nights. The shared pool is very clean and comes with sunloungers and chairs, and the apartment provides loads of kids toys to use in the pool and at the beach. Although its a shared pool there were many times when we had the whole thing to ourselves. Really clean apartment and air con available if needed on a token basis which worked out cheaper than previous apartments. Great customer service - there were a couple of occasions when we needed something and this was sorted out very quickly and efficiently. The wifi is very weak in the apartment but its not the end of the world as you get a full signal on the stairs or by the pool. Would definitely recommend this apartment to a friend.
