Apartment/Villa in Cala'n Bosch, Menorca, Balearic Islands - Quiet Residential Location, Set in Lovely Gardens, Close to the Sea and all Amenities
***June & July prices have been reduced by £100 per week***
The covered patio to the front is ideal for relaxing and eating at any time of the day and many people's favourite feature - the roof terrace, is perfect for sunbathing or watching the sunset over the ocean. Just a short walk to the sea, several supermarkets, bars and restaurants and a pool for public use. The large, gently shelving beach at Cala’n Bosch has soft sand and clear turquoise water, a little further on is the longer Son Xoriguer beach where there are water sports available. At the centre of Cala’n Bosch is the marina, surrounded by bars and restaurants, which is full of life at night. The historic town of Ciutadella is very close (about 10 minutes drive) and has many shops, market stalls, cafés set around some quiet and some bustling squares, a picturesque port lined with restaurants, and clubs that are open into the early hours.

From the Owner
“I had intended to live in Menorca a few years ago, but missed my family, friends and the bustle of London too much so decided to move back to the UK and return to work with my previous company. Casa Géminis is where I lived during that time.”
Activity and Interests
Special interest holidays:
Sailing courses/yacht charter/day sails - Menorca Sailing are based in Mahon and offer RYA courses or charters. For the very best possible rates please let us know what you are looking for and we can put you in contact with them.
SCUBA diving & instruction with Blue Water Scuba who are based very near.
It is a 15/20 minute walk into Cala'n Bosch or a 5 minute drive. A regular and reliable bus service runs into Cala'n Bosch and Son Xoriguer. Cala Blanca also only 10 minutes drive away.
Mahon airport is around 45 minutes drive away but do leave extra time to get back to the airport at busy times, especially Fridays. Both Mahon and Ciutadella have ferry ports where services run to Palma, Ibiza, Valencia and Barcelona. The island’s bus network is very efficient and by using them you can travel to all the places of interest on the island. If you require any advice on flights from the UK we will be happy to assist if we can.
Cap d’Artrutx and Cala’n Bosch are on the south west tip of Menorca. 10 minutes drive from Ciutadella and 45 minutes from Mahon. A car is advisable but there are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance and the bus service into Ciutadella and to other resorts is very efficient and comfortable. As rough estimate, the cost of a taxi from the airport is approximately 60 euros (one way).
You are never more than an hours drive from anywhere on the island and there is only one main road running the breadth of the island, so finding your way around is very easy. Car hire is recommended as it will enable you not only to see all the wonderful sights and variations of the north and south of the island, but also to go to the unspoilt beaches which are away from the tourist areas. The nearest of these are the two beaches at Son Saura, about 20 minutes drive away and well worth getting the car dusty for! Nature lovers and walkers will find the 45 minute drive to Es Grau well worth the trip. Menorca has been declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, as a result a great deal of effort is made to help protect the environment. Within a few minutes of Géminis is Son Olivaret Marina, for a short walk or a longer ramble all the way to Cala Blanca. The northern coast of the island has some breathtaking views, the south has the most beautiful beaches. Menorca also has a large number of prehistoric sites if that is your area of interest. It is also very proud of its many lighthouses. All in all Menorca provides the perfect backdrop for your holiday, however you prefer to spend it. Safe and friendly, it is ideal for families and couples, for trying sporting activities, nature rambles, gazing at the power of the ocean, joining in the many island fiestas or simply laying around on a beautiful beach, relaxing with your favourite chilled drink and doing absolutely nothing!

From the Owner
“Casa Géminis is in a tranquil spot surrounded by well kept gardens. It's close enough to Cala'n Bosch for the beaches, bars and restaurants and the marina, yet far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. One of the best features is the flat roof of the house which has lovely views across the Med' to Mallorca, and is ideal for sunbathing, watching the sunset or just sitting with a book and/or a G&T. Over the last 7 years I'm happy to say that my family and many other people have enjoyed their holidays and their stay in my simple but well equipped little villa. Menorca is a unique place. Very safe and wonderful for couples and families alike. It is not a place for hen or stag parties and tour companies actively discourage younger people from coming here. There are plenty of places to explore on the island and lovely coastal walks. Easy to avoid the crowds if you want peace and quiet.”
