The Château provides an ideal setting for a relaxing holiday with its south-facing pool overlooking a secluded valley. It has been divided into 5 separate self-contained apartments, each with its own outside eating area and designed for independent living. The apartments can be rented individually or in any combination for groups. The main apartment has a spacious reception and dining area that is ideal for large parties. The tranquil valley of Bussas offers a perfect retreat. It is in the heart of the Cévennes, an area of unspoilt beauty and outstanding wild life. Walkers and mountain bikers can enjoy the trails through the hills and the majestic scenery stretching towards the Mediterranean to the south and the Massif Central to the north. The resident caretaker and his wife look after the property and guests. They have an organic garden providing fresh vegetables. They can also offer baby-sitting and extra cleaning by arrangement.

Steps from the inner courtyard lead to a large living room with a corner kitchen. French windows provide immediate access to an outside eating area and to the terraces above the pool. The bathroom is in the tower adjoining the living room. An open stairway leads up to a spacious bedroom. There is an additional small bedroom in the tower accessed through a low doorway.

Fabulous stay in Bussas
The Chateau is truly situated in an amazing surrounding. The entire property and its gardens and pool are renovated with respect and good taste and are well-maintained. We had relaxing and joyfull holidays! Of all the holidays spent in France , it was the best one! We certainly recommend it!
Une semaine au calme !!
Un petit séjour d'une semaine dans un endroit très paisible, un accueil comme si on était un peu des amis de la famille, le logement (la Clède) très bien équipé, très agréable à vivre, une piscine pour se rafraichir le soir, des kilomètres de sentiers pour randonner...
Quelques discussions bien plaisantes (parfois en anglais) avec nos hôtes et les autres clients, de grandes discussions avec le couple de gardiens (Liliane et Bernard)...
De vraie vacances ...

Prices are for the property(s) per week in UK pounds. 4% reduction for bookings of individual apartments made before the end of February 2013. 6% reduction on booking of whole Château before end of January 2013.

Local catering firms can supply meals by arrangement. Outside: South facing swimming pool (11x4 metres), solar heated for early and late seasons. Trout stream for fishing and swimming. Separate games room with table tennis and bar-football. Children's climbing frame. Extensive terraces for outside eating and relaxing. Shared pool-side barbecue with charcoal grill.
