Apartment in Les Houches, Chamonix Valley - Short Walk To Bellevue Lift Station, Great For Families

The apartment is located in the brand new development known as Chalet Whymper, located in the heart of Les Houches, about 150m from the Bellevue lift station. It is ideally situated for the Kandahar World Cup downhill race which takes place at the end of January and is very convenient for skiing and access to the rest of the village and valley. The apartment offers spacious, airy accommodation which has been completed and furnished to a high standard. The kitchen is well equipped and the balcony allows you to enjoy fabulous sunsets over the Aiguilles Vertes. The apartment is located on the first floor of the building with a large balcony and is accessed from either the garage or the front door by lift. There is a video entry phone, underfloor heating, TV and DVD player and it is tastefully decorated with comfortable furnishings, deep sofas and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment has secure private underground car parking and a ski locker.

Notes on accommodation: The prices set out below are based on 7 nights' accommodation from Saturday to Saturday with exclusive use of the apartment on a self catered basis. The rates include electricity and linen & towels for 4 people. If there are more staying in the apartment there will be a supplementary linen charge made in resort. There is an additional charge of 30 euros for cleaning which is payable in resort. Please note that for arrivals after 11 pm a 50 euro charge applies. Outside: Balcony allows you to enjoy fabulous sunsets over the Aiguilles Vertes. It has a table and chairs for 4 people and a gas barbecue. Utility Room: The kitchen contains a washer/dryer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: You will be met at the apartment upon arrival and provided with keys. The rates include electricity, linen and towels for 4 people. There is an additional charge of 30 euros for cleaning, payable in resort and a 50 Euro charge for arrivals after 11 pm.

Perfect location. Close to lifts and supermarket.

Fantastic location! The apartment is just a 5 minute walk to the Belle Vue cable car. The village centre with a choice of a few restaurants & bars is close by and it's a 10 minute walk to the supermarket.

The apartment is well equipped with everything you could need for a self catering holiday including a washing machine, which was very handy. If you like to cook there's good knives, pans and plenty of crockery and cutlery etc.

Great views from the lounge balcony.

Although on the main road through Les Houches, the apartment is very quiet at night and we had no problems sleeping.

The apartment was lovely and warm with loads of hot water and was very clean.

There were just two of us and the apartment was plenty big enough. The bunk beds looked very comfortable but as they are located in the spacious hallway, would probably be suited to a family with children or 2 couples who know each other really well. There is also a sofa bed in the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner.

Everything you need is here including TV. DVD player, selection of films, games and fast wifi connection.

We love Les Houches and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Booking Notes:
In order to reserve your accommodation we require a deposit (non refundable) which is 30% of the value of your reservation at the time of booking. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival in resort. Upon receipt of the balance we will provide you with all the directions/contact details for your accommodation. A deposit of 250 euros, payable in cash or cheque, is required and will be returned at the end of your stay less any costs incurred due to damage, breakages and specialised cleaning.
