Peaceful Detached Villa, Private Pool, Overlooking Olive Groves/Nature Reserve

Bedrooms 2
Property type villa

About the property

Villa in Psathi,Nr. Tsada/Paphos,Cyprus-Spacious Villa With Far-Reaching Views Over A Nature Reserve

Villa Panigale - a great place to relax and get away from it all. Located in Psathi, a small village in the foothills of the Troodos Mountains, featuring a private pool, large plot, and overlooking a nature reserve. Although a peaceful location there is much to see and do and it's all within easy reach too. The village of Polemi is 1 mile away and has small supermarkets and tavernas/restaurants. It's only a 20 minute drive to Paphos where both culture and entertainment are combined - shops, bars, restaurants, beaches, archaeological treasures and nightlife! The villa is also only 5 minutes from Tsada championship standard Golf course, and 20 minutes from Coral Bay - blue flag standard and the best natural beach in Cyprus. For the adventurous, you may want to take a short flight to neighbouring Egypt, or a 2 day cruise from Limassol to Cairo, the Pyramids, the tomb of King Tutankhamen and the River Nile.

About The Owner

For 25 years I have run a distribution business in the UK, this villa is my holiday home which I rent out also.

The Owner purchased this villa in 2005

Why The Owner chose Coral Bay Area

I bought this villa because of the tranquil area it's in, it's unobstructed views, the fact that this area is not built up at all (much of Cyprus is becoming that way) and because there's only eight properties on the development. It's a very relaxing place to be but still with easy access to Paphos and other towns / villages / beaches.

What makes this villa unique

Air-conditioning is included in the rental (often this costs extra), spacious plot, the pool is private, long unobstructed views over olive groves, a Welcome Pack is included on arrival (tea, coffee, milk, bread etc.), peaceful & relaxing.

Guestbook comments from the owner

'We have recently returned from a thoroughly relaxing holiday at Villa Panigale. The accomodation was superb, well described and spotlessly clean.

The area was rural and quiet, just the thing for a winding down holiday.

The car hire was essential to get about and the local shops and restaurants were friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed The Lemonari in Stroumpi and The Farmhouse at Kathikas.

We were really well looked after by Barry next door, who was on hand with good advice on where to eat out and shop. Excellent directions from John, the owner, A fantastic holiday and well worth a return visit.

Just a note to say thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful villa, we were absolutely delighted to pull up outside the villa walk round the side and to be greeted by the patio area and the wonderful views out over the valley. The villa itself is in wonderful condition. Would recommend to anyone! Richard T, Tamworth.

Margate, Kent

Lovely village in rural location.

  • 4 of 5

Lovely village, clean and pleasantly furnished. Kitchen area large well-equipped. Lovely to have Barry close (next door) but not intrusive, in case of any problems, but none arose. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get away for a quiet break. Lovely surrounding walking trails.

WiFi would be a nice touch.

Thanks to John for the opportunity to say here.

Nice and peaceful

  • 4 of 5

The villa was lovely, very clean, tidy and very spacious. The pool was a lovely bonus, well used even, though it was very cool in October. Beautiful weather, terrace was a sun trap all day. About 45 minutes to coral bay (if you stop there you must try the Japanese restaurant!) Little shops and restaurants in the next village. All in all, a wonderful holiday had by us all, would recommend this villa if you want peace and quite (car is a must). Thank you

Very good

  • 5 of 5

A lovely villa well equipped villa just inside the small village of Psathi which is accurately and more fully described in the listing. The beautiful panoramic view of the Paphos landscape has possibly not had justice done to it by the photos, it really is marvellous.

The booking process was easy and there were no problems with regard to directions, picking up and dropping off the keys etc.

Psathi itself doesn't really have any facilities but the larger village of Polemi has most things needed and is a short drive of two miles or so. A car is essential. The villa is almost equidistant from Paphos or Polis at about 30 to 35 minutes drive, where there are the larger supermarkets etc.

A very good and relaxing holiday.

Idyllic retreat with stunning views

  • 5 of 5

I am almost reluctant to write a good review lest this villa become too popular and as a result it's booked when we want to stay next time, which we most definitely will. The villa itself is tucked away on the outskirts of Psathi and is a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Whilst only a short trip to Paphos a car is essential. A vehicle will also give you access to the many tavernas nearby, Kathikas is well worth a visit.

The villa itself is a beautiful building, modern, spacious, well equipped and the private pool is the icing on the cake providing a welcome escape from the day time heat. We spent every evening stat on the patio with a bottle of wine, listening to the cicadas and watching the night sky. The skies are dark and stunningly clear, we saw shooting stars every night!

Don't go to this villa if you're looking for an 18-30 type experience and raucous nightlife but if like us you're looking to escape the world for a while and recharge your batteries then I can think of no better place and we're already planning our return visit. (Unless someone beats us to it!)

Great holiday

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful two weeks at this Psathi holiday home. The villa was well equipped with everything that you would need. If you are looking for a “peaceful” holiday with wonderful views then this one is perfect. Mike was in the pool every day. The local shops (minimarts) in the village have everything especially local produce such as eggs, fruit, bread and tomatoes that are rustic huge and SOOO tasty. The red wine is excellent both for taste and value (4 Euros for the best!) we got through a bottle every evening. This villa is highly recommendable. Thanks John for letting us stay. Thanks also to Barry (next door) for all his help. Brenda & Mike
