Orozca is an elegantly decorated farmhouse - rural chic at it's best. It has a unique atmosphere, thick, cool walls and aged wooden beams offset with splashes of colour and some lovely pieces of antique furniture. With hiking trails on your doorstep and a secluded, private location - melt-down starts here. 4kms from the historical village of Montefrio there is a wealth of landscapes which have a variety of birds and wild flowers for nature enthusiasts. The town itself has a good selection of bars and restaurants and sightseeing. This is the perfect holiday base for a large group or families that appreciates superb views, delicious food and local culture, good walks and unadulterated peace.

Superb location : eccentric accommodation : fabulous pool : great fun !"

A truly 'out of the way' holiday home, not ideal to find at night (although we managed !) but wonderfully quiet and remote : a million miles from the awful image of 'holiday Spain' !

Eccentric accommodation : think 'Dali meets Port Meirion' and you get the picture. Well laid out although doors for the wc and bathrooms would be better than curtains !

There was plenty of room for the six of us, plus a visitor room, and the pool was absolutely perfect, well maintained and clean and with spectacular views. We ate outdoors under the canopy every day and watched the stars in the totally unpolluted night sky. We travelled to Cordoba and Granada very easily and the local town is great for drinks and meals at prices considerably below those of the tourist cities and is also worth exploring. A great holiday !!!

Malaga airport is 1 hours drive and Granada airport is 45 mins drive.

Distances:

Montefrio is nearest village (5km) drive and Granada (45 minutes). Seville, Cordoba, Antequera, Alpujarras and Sierra Nevada are all easily drivable distances.

Montefrio is on the Route of Washington Irving, which is the historical road that links Malaga, Seville and Granada and has many fascinating walks and is popular with cyclists worldwide. There is also a wealth of landscapes which have a variety of birds and wild flowers for nature enthusiasts. The town itself has a good selection of bars and restaurants and 2 swing parks. There is also a local lido with restaurant for a fun day locally. The house is ideally situated near to town for local supermarkets and banks and the local 24 hour clinic is a 5 minute drive.

Booking Notes:
Deposit of 40% is required for reservation. Full payment 60 days prior to start of holiday. A 200 euro deposit is payable (in advance with final balance payment). It will be returned to you, subject to any appropriate deductions) at the end of your stay.
Arrival from 3pm and departure time 10am to allow for changeovers.
Personal holiday insurance is a prerequisite when staying at Orozca. There is a 75.00 euro final cleaning charge.
All prices include 10% VAT

Changeover Day:
Changeover dates flexible, must be agreed with owner.
Owners are happy to arrange midweek hand-overs where possible to coincide with cheaper midweek flights.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Small party bookings of 6 people or less are available.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

This house is ideal for a big family group as there’s plenty to do for children of all ages, including mountain biking, den making, swimming and running free in the acres of space that surround Orozca. Outside: The private 'lagoon' pool (12m x 7m) has natural stone surrounding sun terraces with Carribbean cabana style umbrellas and loungers. It also has an integral baby pool with safety bars.
