If you want a quiet relaxing holiday and not be overlooked by anyone else, fabulous golden beaches, look no further because this is exactly what this villa has to offer. The villa also has fantastic panoramic views of both the Monchique Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean, both of which can be enjoyed from the numerous terraced areas around the villa. You could of course decide to relax by the walled solar heated swimming pool which also has its own barbecue area. The pool area has lockable gates at either end, enabling you to keep out small children when not supervised. The accommodation inside the villa is to a high standard and has a fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine, full air-conditioning (optional), Satellite TV, wifi available, 2 bathrooms, dining room etc. Other features electric remote control gates, floodlit gardens.

We love the Algarve because of the fantastic facilities in the area. There are many beautiful beaches and the marina boasts a great range of bars and restaurants. There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible with Faro airport 50 minutes drive away.

The property is 15 minutes minutes walk or 3 minutes drive to the fabulous beaches and the pretty town of Lagos with local shops and restaurants.

Lovely stay!

We had 8 adults & 4 young children & stayed for 1 week.

The villa was a great size, with lovely grounds & extremely clean on arrival. It is very safe for the children & we loved that there is a iron gate to get to the pool. The villa provides all the necessary appliances & a nice BBQ, however the oven didn't work. A bigger wifi usage amount is suggested, as it was very slow, sometimes not working.

The customer service was brilliant, the owners responded to all my queries beforehand & arranged transfers etc for us.

Lagos town is really lovely & well worth a visit & a taxi is between 4-5 euros. You can walk, but the main road doesn't have much pavement & is not the safest, so we chose taxis as we had pushchairs. There is a lovely tapas restaurant, which is a few minutes walk.

Would recommend this property. Thank you for a great stay.

Great villa for Lagos

Six adults and a baby stayed here for one week in July. The villa provided a comfortable place to stay for our week. We especially liked the pool and bbq area. Although we hired cars, we were still able to walk into lagos town centre easily. Great tapas restaurant down the hill too. We would come back and stay here again.

We love the Algarve because the people are so friendly and most of all the weather. There are many beautiful beaches, the marina and Lagos town have a great range of bars, restaurants and shops. There really is something for everyone here.

Special interest holidays:

The area has a wealth of historic sites, the closest being probably the prettiest town in the Algarve, Lagos, with over 400 restaurants and some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. Other places of interest include Cape St Vincent, which is the most westerly part of mainland Europe, and also home the Vasco D'Gamma’s observatory. The Monchique Mountains are also worth a visit for beautiful views, health spa and local cuisine. This is just a sample of what you can do, there is plenty more for the children.

Coast/Beach:

There are numerous golden sandy beaches, if walking about ten to fifteen minutes, when driving about three minutes.We are semi rural with just few villa's around and not over looked.

Travel:

Faro airport is just under an hours drive from the villa. The A22 now charge part of the way, the car-hire companies will inform you of this.

Distances:

Lagos town centre about a ten to fifteen minute walk. Supermarket Pingo Doce about 1 km by road. New back road when finished a bit rough at the moment but can be driven on leads to the nearest supermarket Contintente about tree minutes by car.

Booking Notes:
To secure a booking a deposit 20% of the balance is required (non-refundable). Full payment is required at least one month before departure, please ensure you enclose your flight details when sending payment. A 50% cancellation refund will only be applicable if the villa can be re-let. 5% off three weeks or over booked. In the winter months the weekly rate applies up to eight people with £70.00 per extra person staying, heating included in the price.

Changeover Day:
Thursday, however we can be flexible to accommodate.

Notes on prices:
Prices quoted are based on a weeks rental for up to 8 people. The pool is solar heated in the summer months. Air-conditioning £100.00 per week. We can supply extra beds if required for £110.00 per week per person. There is no charge for air-conditioning in winter which can be used to heat the villa. Deposit of 20% is required when booking, balance payable one month before departure date. 5% discount for stay of 3 weeks and other.

Our villa is large and spacious in a beautiful quiet location and not over looked by other villas. We have a well kept garden with flowering shrubs, oranges and lemon trees. We have view of the Monchique Mountains and Ocean and there are many ares to sit and take in these views. There is a private walled and gated pool area you can bolt to keep small children out when not in use. Our villa is in walking distance to the town of Lagos this will take you about fifteen minutes, if going by car then it will take three minutes, although when walking we do advise you on your return you wish to hirer a taxi as we are on a slight hill that gives us those lovely views.

  • Notes on accommodation: The property is laid out all on one level and we are not over looked by other villas. The pool area is gated and can be locked making it ideal for small children. There is optional air-conditioning in all the bedrooms they can also heat the rooms in the winter months. The large lounge area leads on to the veranda with views of the Monchque and Ocean. We have a gas/electric certificate and a letting licence. This villa is ideally located not far from the town of Lagos and beaches. Outside: The villa is set in it's own beautiful floodlit gardens with flowers and fruit trees. There are numerous terraces with views of the Ocean and Mountains with plenty of furniture dotted around. There is also a private 10m x 4m solar heated swimming pool with a built-in barbecue area and numerous sun loungers and seats. Our villa is on a large plot with electric gates for added security. Utility Room: Another fridge/freezer, iron and ironing board, washing machine. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included, you will need to bring your own beach towels as these are not supplied. There is a maid service twice a week, once to change linen and towels, and on the other occasion towels only, the villa is cleaned on both occasions. Other: We have fixed hairdryers in each of the bathsrooms
