Fantastic property in lovely settings

Just returned from a lovely 10 day stay at Balaia. From the minute we contacted Sue about booking with her, she has been friendly, efficient and helpful with any questions we had. The property itself is in a lovely part of the complex near to a lovely pool and the clubhouse. The facilities in the property itself were superb and the air conditioning was great as we seemed to have picked the 10 warmest days of the year. We will have no hesitation in returning.

Spacious, well positioned with great facilities

Stayed here for a week late August, apartment was more spacious than we'd imagined, well equipped and clean, great balcony on which to relax and enjoy and evening drink/BBQ. Closest pool was great, a 5 minute stroll, always got a sunbed, small bar to get a drink & snack. Well located between Albufeira & Villamoura, 15 minute walk to nearest beach, good restaurants a 5 minute drive away in Olhos D'Agua. A pleasure dealing with a very helpful and responsive owner

Lovely clean, modern apartment. Everything you'll.

Great place to stay. Very quiet spot on the resort. Pools all lovely and quiet. Everything you'll need in the apartment and more. We especially liked the UK TV channels to watch the Olympics and football. Thank you

Rested and relaxed

A well appointed apartment with air conditioning in every family/bedroom. The balcony had comfortable patio furniture and a gas bbq. The balcony looks onto the practice/ driving range. There is very little noise from the range and appeared not to be used till after 9am. There is a swimming pool within a two minute stroll which has a small drink, ice cream stand. Balaia golf resort has a well stocked supermarket by the main enterance with everything you will need. Local beaches which are within a 15 minute walk are nice but busy. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would undoubtedly stay again.

Great location, luxury setting.

The appartment at Balaia was perfect. The resort had everything you need and it is only a short walk to a variety of bars and restaurants.

The appartment was very clean and had everything you require while on holiday. I'd recommend this to anyone if you want to discover the algarve.

A spacious apartment with good views

This is the first time we have booked on Owners direct and I found the booking process easy with good customer service. Balaia is a very well managed resort and we have stayed a number of times. The apartment is spacious and bright, it has a good sized balcony area with seating and lovely views over the driving range. The apartment is in a quiet location and the pool nearby does not tend to get as busy as the others can.

The property was clean and we enjoyed our stay however it would benefit from some maintenance and updating.

Coast/Beach:

Balaia Golf Village is situated on the coast. There are two beautiful beaches within 10 minutes walk. Many more gorgeous beaches can be discovered with the use of a car within 5 minutes drive.

Travel:

Located 30 minutes drive from Faro airport. Car rental is not essential but would be recommended to get the most out of your holiday. Transport can be arranged from Faro airport to Balaia. Taxis around Albufeira are very cheap and can be ordered from Reception

Distances:

Albufeira New Town is about 15 minutes stroll. The Old Town is 5-10 minutes drive. Albufeira has a plethora of restaurants, bars, shops and a very lively cosmopolitan nightlife. Vilamoura with its lovely Marina and, of course, golf courses, is 15 minutes drive

Further Details:

At the entrance to the Village there is a well-stocked supermarket and take-away, hairdressers and beauty salon and shops. More shops and restaurants are within walking distance and beautiful golden beaches are a mere 500m from the village entrance.

There is on-site management and security along with an excellent 24 hour reception, where you can change money, book taxis, book airport transfers, arrange baby sitting, hire cots etc. You will find them always most helpful. Reception also has an internet room for guests and Wi-fi is available in the apartment when you purchase hours from Reception (minimal charge).

South-facing, with gorgeous views right across the landscaped gardens and expanse of greenery, the area is quiet, yet just 3 minutes walk to the lovely 3-tiered cascading pool (including toddlers pool) with it's own snack-bar and Clubhouse restaurant and bar. Our large balcony is delightful, with comfortable lounging sofas, drinks tables and a fantastic gas BBQ. A wind-out awning also gives optional shade. Utility Room: Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen included but please bring your own pool/beach towels. Clean and linen change at the end of the week included. Extra services may be purchased at Reception.
