Cosy large 1 bedroom apartment with south east facing balcony ( Special long winter let rates also available on request ). Situated in Albufeira Town between the Old and New, both are minutes away by foot. Located on the flat and not at the top of a hill. 10 mins walk to Albufeira beaches, all major supermarkets and restaurants close by. This apartment offers a very economical family holiday plus the benefit of all mod cons contained within it and all the things you would have at home, Satellite tv, stereos etc!

Willing to spread payments into 3 installments if reserved long time ahead.

Had a great family holiday, TV in bedroom a bonus for the kids, well for us, gave us a little peace, location push chair friendly, really homely at night with a bottle of wine, good value, will return, booking and pick up very efficient, Nicola and family.



Apartment cosy and all you need provided for home cooking, treated ourselves by eating out most nights, loads of good restaraunts nearby, liked being central to new and old town, walked mostly, took the wheelie train now and again to the Square. Thanks, no stress, nice touch meeting us yourself at the airport, Lisa, Paul and family!

Air conditioning in the bedroom is optional and can be arranged on site at an extra charge of £30 per week if required! Fantastic apartment

We are a family of 5, and differ very much in age, myself, my hushand, 21 year old daughter who has just finished University so needed and fancied a free holiday, a 17 year old son and 8 year old son so to find an apartment to suit my family can be hard, this was great, big enough for the 5 of us, it was spotless and had everything you needed, nothing had been forgotton. The pool was great to, most days we had it to ourselves and the couple of days we didn't there was only a couple of Portugese families round, it was so chilled and peaceful. It was our first time in Portugal and to be honest the time we went we chose the busiest time of the year, beginning of August and it was also the Portugese holidays so the area was very very busy but everything was pretty much in walking distance as getting a taxi was quite hard some days as the queues was massive with it been so busy, the strip is a comfortable walk of 5 minutes, the old town is a little bit further and having an 8 year old on our shoulders can be difficult with the heat but it was manageable, we got the train sometimes and a tuk tuk which was fun. The old town is stunning, we loved it and the beaches are fab. We normally go to Cyprus as we love Cyprus but I can honestly say the beaches was just as nice here.

All in all we could not have asked for a better host in Andy he was incredible to be honest, was waiting for us on our arrival which was a very late flight, sorted out everything, was just a call away, the fan in the apartment broke while we was there, I e-mailed Andy and the same day he brought a brand new one,, you cannot ask for anything more than that,he was great. It is the third year we have stayed in a private apartment now and Andy was the best host ever.

When we first got to Portugal we thought it was rather expensive as when our family of 5 was going for a drink just for 5 simple drinks it could be 15 Euros but after a couple of days we realised the Portugese bars was a lot more reasonable, i.e. same drinks for 8 Euros. There are quite a few Portugese bars to just very slightly off the beaten track and they are great, all have pool tables, darts etc etc.

I would recommend this apartment for anyone wanting a reasonable, clean, very assessible apartment. Would I every go back, YES WE WOULD.

Winter Sun

Stayed for nearly six weeks over November and December 2017. The apartment is ideally located near to both the Old Town and Strip there are numerous supermarkets within 5 minutes walk the beach is a 10/15 minute walk down hill. Nearby is a children's play area and a park with a lake plenty of places for walks. There are quite a few British bars open at this time of year and all are within reasonable walking distant (depending on health) also plenty of taxis if needed.

The apartment is of good size with a sunny balcony gets too warm even in December but it also rains. There is a good TV complete with most British channels if you want to stay in. A couple of comfortable settees. there is a separate dinning table with four chairs there was also a high chair if needed. The bedroom at the back is of a decent size can be made up as either a double or two singles. It does not get any sun so can get cold at this time of year but there is a heater in the room which warms the room up quite quickly.

The bathroom is functional has plenty of hot water it has a bath with a shower.

The kitchen is a little dated but everything works full electric cooker, fridge/ freezer washing machine. There are plenty of pots pans and utensils.

The pool looked nice but too cold at this time of year but was stilled cleaned regularly.

Have booked again for this year would recommend.

Excellent stay with great service & good value.

Stayed here mid April so weather mixed as one would expect. The owner Andy who also takes care of the place was very efficient from beginning, more helpful than I have experienced before, had one problen with wifi and he was there in 10 minutes, hes also a funny guy. Location suited us as it was close to best Supermarkets in Albufeira, a short walk across road to Pingo Doce and the other major one was Continente which wa on the next roundabout.

The apartment itself was very spacious, airy and well equipped, very well maintained and spotless on our arrival. Nothing not thought about, accurate description in advert, tv channels, wifi, all very good. It was also quiet which was a pleasant surprise given its central location.

Hundreds of restaurants, We did try 2 close by, chinese one behind the block, superb, and traditional Portuguese opposite next to BP garage.

We managed the pool 3 days weather permitting, water cold as expected in April, it was very clean and gardens pretty. andy only chap who had his own sunbeds for use, locked away and he gave us a key, a bonus again.

For value and service this place is 5 stars.

I would recommend without hesitation to people I know and i will probably return one day.

Needs a bit of tlc

Cannot fault the owner andy. Excellent communications from the intial enquiry stage to the booking and eventual stay at the apartment. Used andy for airport transfer was there on time and our return journey with george was equally as efficent and george was a smashing chatty person. On time for pickup. Andy Responded quickly to enquiries. Location was peaceful and was in easy reach of old town and strip. Pool was an added bonus. Had it to ourselves most of our 10 day holiday. The grounds around the pool were very pleasant and use of own sunbeds was great especially as sunbed sponges were also provided. Poolside Toilet block left a bit to be desired. Was told not to use it and owner reported it. Did clean one of toilets for our own benefit and cleaning lady did call eventually. The apartment itself was a bit of a disappointment for us. I booked purely on the photos in advert, It had everything that self catering would need. Its nitpicking but sofa bed was not as photo. It had a single mattress in living room that did not fit anywhere so not sure why there. Was given mattress topper for sofa bed but didnt fit. Fixtures and fittings looked tired and dated as was bed linen and blankets. Full array of utensils and crockery although some were chipped and cracked. Wifi was quick and great as reached pool area. Was a cool property for us i guess due to time of year which actually was a benefit as we slept well. Was not disturbed by any traffic noise or noisey neighbours. Had a few great bars near apartment and was in easy walking distance of supermarkets which provided all you needed.

I do intend to visit albuferia again though not this location or apartment.

I dare say others may experience something different in this apartment and i may have expected too much for the amount i paid, as have had better accomodation through home and away for same monies. It really needs a bit of tlc. We manged for 10 days and was only in apartment for snacks and sleep. Spent a lot of time out or round pool.

Clean comfortable apartment with quiet pool

My girlfriend and I had a lovely weekend in Andy's apartment. We were welcomed with cheap return transport from the airport organised by Andy, and a show of the apartment and facilities. We had a lovely stay with the use of the quiet pool (often only ourselves or one to two other couples occupying the pool area) and our own provided sunloungers. We were approximately a 5 minute walk from the new town and an easy 20 minute walk from the old town.

Would recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay in Albufiera for good access to all beaches and both old and new towns. Andy is a lovely guy and was easy to correspond with. We had no extra reason to contact him but he was always available if we had any further questions.

Lovely large apartment in central location.

We stayed 10 days here in May. The apartment had everything we needed & when we had a small problem we rang Andy & he came very quickly & sorted it out. The pool we had to ourselves most days which was great & sunbeds were provided for our own use with cushions we took down from the apartment. The apartment is located about a 10 min walk from the Strip one way & Old Town is in the opposite direction probably about a 15-20 min walk, we always got a taxi which was roughly 5 euros. The area surrounding the apartment was on the flat & there are 3 supermarkets, a bakery & a few restaurants close by. We had a lovely holiday here, great weather & many thanks to Andy for making it all so easy.

30 minutes drive from Faro airport! Car hire not needed, all amenities walkable! Owner provides pick up if needed from Faro Airport for a small fee, you are taken straight to the apartment with keys!

Portimao 25 mins drive. Silves ( Historic) 25 min drive. Lagos 45 min drive. Cape St Vincent 1 hour drive.

Further Details:

Close by are all major supermarkets, Modelo (200m), Lidl (600m) and Pingo Doce (50m), countless bars and restaurants walkable!

Fees No additional mandatory fees

Security deposit of 100 pounds or its equivalent in cash is required on arrival in the event of breakages. An inspection is carried out on departure and your monies refunded if no breakages.

Wi fi in the apartment is optional from 15 euros for duration of your stay, paid locally.

Changeover Day:
Totally flexible, will accept, 7, 8, 9 day holiday periods! Check in 1430 at latest and check out is 1030 at earliest, We do try to check in on arrival and check out as late as possible, if We are able.

Refunds can be made if 60 days written notice is received by the Owner and also is strictly based upon the reserved dates being re-sold, if they are not resold then no refund can be made. If a portion of the reserved dates are resold then a portion of the Clients payment will be refunded.

Swimming Pool provided by outside source, so in the event of any temporary closures due to maintenance issues, compensation cannot be considered.

Prices inclusive of energy costs except for long winter lets! Special lets available for lets more than 6 weeks between November & March for £115 per week, additionally electric & water for these lets charged at cost, meters read on arrival & departure.

Aircon unit optional for bedroom at £30 per week

Will consider less than a weeks stay, but may involve a surcharge which will be quoted in full and in reply to the Customers inquiry!
