Lovely Private Villa with Pool, Easy Walk to Town

Villa in Pollensa, Mallorca - Paceful location, 10 minutes walk to the town

This beautiful 4 bedroom villa is located a short walk from the town of Pollensa and 6.5km from the sea (only a 5 minute drive down a long straight road). The house is down a long drive away from the road so is very quiet and private. Downstairs there are 2 lounges, one with a fire place and the other opening onto the terrace, a dining room, kitchen, laundry and full bathroom. Upstairs are the 4 bedrooms, one with a sitting room, and a large full bathroom. All is decorated lovingly as a family home in traditional Mallorcan style. Outside, beside the kidney shaped pool, is a large covered BBQ area with an enormous table perfect for summer bbqs and parties.

The kitchen is large and well equipped with lovely views that look out to the mountains. Outdoors there are multiple places for relaxing; under the shaded terrace, by the pool, under the grapefruit trees or by the shaded BBQ area.

The house also features table tennis, kids toys and board games such as Scrabble, Monopoly...

A wonderful villa, furnished to a high, modern standard in an ideal location near Pollensa Old Town- just a 10 minutes walk. Excellent communication and information from the owners in advance and an accurate description on the website of the layout and facilities. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Prompt resolution of a problem with air conditioning with minimal inconvenience to ourselves. A perfect holiday home for our needs - 2 families with 2 children each, aged 3 and under. The pool and outdoor area was so gorgeous we didn't feel like we were compromising when we stayed there all day and ate in. We would definitely recommend highly and would also consider returning in the future. Thanks for a great holiday.

Wonderful villa in a fab location

We've just returned following a wonderful holiday.

The villa is perfect. Spacious & cool downstairs and up, though to be honest, we spent most of the time in the stunning garden. The pool is the perfect size and very deep which the children loved. There are lots of lovely areas to sit in the garden, from the sofa and large table outside of the house along with the covered BBQ area by the pool.

The changing of the towels (twice a week) and full cleaning of the villa after the first week was much appreciated.

Maria and her father are perfect hosts with great communication all throughout the booking process and holiday.

The location of the villa was perfect. Set back from the main road so was quiet but only a 15 min stroll from the square in the old town which had an abundance of restaurants. Also very easy to get a taxi to the port (€12 each way) to have dinner overlooking the sea.

Pollensa is a lovely place and we will be returning at some point in the future.

A great location for touring the north of Mallorca

Directions to the villa by car is easy and around 40 mins from the airport. The Villa itself is a lovely property and Maria and her Father (owners) are so helpful. The villa itself is ideally located and quiet with shopping nearby for total self sufficiency. Four lovely bedrooms and two bathrooms and shower room ensure a great experience for anyone who stays there. I would heartily reccomend it.

Family feel

The villa stands in big grounds, and is full of normal family furniture, pictures etc. This gives the feel of being in a home, rather than a holiday house. There are lots of comfortable places to sit in the shade, and the big dining table on the veranda was perfect for meals. The pool is deep and clean, with (unusually in our experience) a wonderfully quiet filter pump. Although it was very hot, the house and bedrooms kept pretty cool.

Pollenca is an easy walk away, and the restaurants there, without being exciting, were universally good. The Sunday market is excellent - full of interesting food and trinkets. The Lidl just up the road had outstanding local bread, and with the Eroski next door to it had all we needed.

Only downside was ants - apparently a very bad year for them (or rather - good for them but not for us). Anything left out that interested them was soon the end of an ant trail. We just adjusted, made sure to clean up well and keep clothes in the cupboards, and had no real problems.

We would definitely go back, and may well try to do so next year. We have 3 villa holidays a year, and this one tops our list for relaxation and friendliness. Maria and her family were a pleasure to talk to, and very helpful.

We can arrange lessons and excursions for the following activities: Kayaking, Windsurfing, Coasteering, Boat Hire, Tennis, Swimming, Hiking and sailing.

We also have a large utility room which is of an ample size to store bikes, making it convenient for cyclists.


The lovely beaches of Puerto Pollensa and stunning turquoise Cala san Vincente are a quick 5 minute 6km drive away along good roads. If you want to explore further there is famous Formentor (or take the ferry from Puerto Pollensa), Alcudia, Mal Pas ... and on and on.


Pollensa is 50km(35miles) from the airport in Palma. With the fabulous new motorway it is only a 40 minute drive.

Car hire recommended


It is less than a 5 minute walk to the edge of town, from there you wander through the tiny characteristic streets of this most beautiful and typical Mallorcan town, passing local shops on the way, until you reach it's center after about another 8 minutes. The Plaza Mayor is where everyone meets, for a quiet coffee during the day or to eat on one of the quality restaurants, play with the other children or promenade in the evenings when it is full of life and atmosphere.

Further Details:

Don't miss the much loved Italian/French Restaurant 'il Giardino' in the Plaza Mayor, but book in advance - families with young children in the first sitting, mostly adults for the 2nd.

Can Moixet in main square in Pollensa for good, traditional bar/tapas feel.

Numero 8 in main square in Pollensa. Best restaurant in town.

La Fonda and Bar Nou - just off main square - High standard with local dishes.

Cellar De Moli - on outskirts of town, excellent menus of the day (between around 1pm and 3pm) - three courses, wine, water, good quality and about 10 euros per person.

Puerto Pollensa - Little Italy on Pinewalk - nice, buzzing italian in great location -

Mirsh Masala - Although not up to UK’s standards this is the best Indian in town. Avoid Kashmir in main square.

Beaches -

Formentor Beach - Beautiful. Like the Caribbean. A little beer at the bar costs 7,50€. Be prepared.

Cala San Vicente - Crystal clear water, stunning views. 4 beaches to chose from. We go there all the time. The beach on the far right which is stoney is called Cala Carbo. Tourists tend not to go here. It is the quietest of them all and the best one for snorkeling.

Puerto Pollensa - far right side (called Llenaire). It is quieter there and has some nice restaurants. Or the little beaches that are dotted along the Pinewalk, which is the area on the left side of the town. A few nice restaurants along there, too.

Outside: Lovely mature garden with lots of trees and thick surrounding hedges giving plenty of privacy, although there is only one neighbor nearby but not visible. You only see the mountains towering over the hedges around the generous and immaculately maintained garden. 8 sun loungers and 1 sun shades. Sheltered patio with comfy seating area and breakfast table. Sheltered barbecue area with large dining table. Seating located around the grounds. Utility Room: Washing machine, iron and ironing board. High Chairs. Bikes. Cleaning equipment. Inflatable things for the pool Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath, hand and pool towels and bed linen are supplied. Bed lined in changed weekly and cleaning is provided twice a week with a bath and hand towel change. Other: The BBQ area beside the pool is a large area covered area separate from the house.
