Front Line Apartment on Burriana Beach, Nerja, Costa del Sol - South Facing With Large Balcony And Stunning Sea Views

This south-facing 2 bedroom apartment is situated on the front line of Burriana Beach with its water sports and restaurants. Patio doors from the sitting room and master bedroom lead onto a large furnished balcony with magnificent views of the sea and mountains. Free wifi is available, as well as UK tv channels including BBC and ITV, a DVD player, and a radio/CD player with iPod dock. Air conditioning/heating units in both bedrooms and the living room operate on a card meter system. There is parking in a private garage in the basement, which is accessible directly from the apartment using the lift or stairs. An entry-phone system provides both convenience and security.

We fell in love with Nerja on our first visit way back in 1998, and wherever we go we always find ourselves drawn back there.

To us Nerja is a friendly welcoming town which still retains true Andalucian charm with its quaint cobbled streets and shops for the locals as well as tourists, and Burriana is our favourite beach.

A lovely apartment with fabulous views

We have been to this lovely apartment many times and have booked directly with the owners using Owners direct.

The owners live nearby and are always available to assist with any problem if the need arises.

The apartment is modern, spotlessly clean and very well equipped.

It has a fabulous, large private terrace with stunning views over Burriana Beach.

Nerja is a wonderful place with a lovely old town with interesting winding streets interspersed with restaurants, shops and little tapas bars. Burriana is the best beach with lots of beach restaurants and in the summer watersports are available which you can watch from the terrace.

I can unreservedly recommend this apartment and can't wait until our next holiday here.

From the Owner

Burriana Beach is in our opinion the best beach in Nerja, offering traditional beachfront cafe/restaurants, play areas for children, diving and snorkelling trips, and in high season water activities such as paragliding and pedalos. On the beach itself there are sunloungers for hire, and there is still plenty of room for lying peacefully on your own, or for the more energetic to play games. Nerja is easy to reach, with Malaga airport less than an hour's drive away.

The apartment is on the front line of Burriana Beach, so the beach is less than 2 minutes' walk away. Burriana Beach features many beach restaurants along the promenade, as well as restaurants, bars, gift shops and a convenience store beneath the apartments on the front. Scuba diving and snorkelling trips are available from beach-front offices and pedalos, kayaks and a banana boat operate from the beach during the high season. Shaded sunloungers can be hired daily on the beach.


Malaga is the nearest airport. It takes approx 50 minutes by car from there to Nerja, which can be reached by taxi, hire car or bus. We can arrange your collection from the airport if you wish, as a car is not essential to the enjoyment of a holiday at this apartment.


It is about a 15 minute walk into the centre of Nerja and the famous Nerja Caves are 3km away. Malaga is 50km away - it is a bustling city with many shops, places of historical interest, including Picasso's birthplace and museum. It is also a major port and has several beaches. There is a regular bus service between Nerja and Malaga.

Further Details:

A convenience store immediately below the apartment caters for most needs and there are several larger supermarkets around. Nerja is a typically Spanish town, with restaurants, gift shops, banks, etc. There is a bustling weekly market on Tuesdays. The central attraction of the town is the Balcon de Europa, a palm-lined promontory from which there are spectacular views along the coast and which is the central point for the fiestas that take place throughout the year. There are many interesting walks to be taken in the countryside surrounding Nerja. For sports enthusiasts the nearby sports centre has a 25m swimming pool, gymnasium and outdoor running track, and the local area is ideal for mountain cycling.

From the Owner

This sunny south facing front line apartment has stunning views of the sea and Burriana Beach. You can be on the beach in two minutes, or just relax on the terrace and watch the world go by. There are a variety of bars, restaurants, gift shops, and even a small supermarket, all within easy level walking distance. We like to think of our apartment as a "home from home" and with this in mind it now has free wifi as well as UK television. There are also modern air conditioning / heating units in both bedrooms and the living room. For those who like to explore the local area there are some fascinating places to visit, such as the world famous Nerja Caves or the Alhambra Palace in Granada.

  • Notes on accommodation: A ‘welcome’ pack of basic essentials greets you on your arrival. There are ceiling fans in the lounge and both bedrooms. The air conditioning/heating units operate on a card meter system at a small extra cost. Outside: The spacious south-facing balcony has magnificent views over Burriana Beach. There is a patio table for alfresco dining, 6 chairs and 2 sunloungers all with cushions and a wind-out sun blind at the sitting room end of the balcony. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The apartment will be cleaned before and after your visit. Linen and towels (except beach towels) are provided and changed weekly.
