Working in animal nutrition I travel the world sourcing the very best ingredients for our products. I have visited many beautiful counties but it is still Portugal which is my favourite as it remains one of the most beautiful and relaxing countries in the world and the perfect place to have a holiday. My wife Jackie works for a firm of solicitors and is a keen golfer. Our boys are both at University.

What makes this apartment unique

Our apartment is the only apartment on our complex to have an open main balcony and two additional balconies so you can enjoy the sun from sunrise to sunset. There are two sunloungers on the balcony with additional reclining chairs for you to enjoy. There is also a full size table on the balcony should you wish to enjoy a meal alfresco.

From the balcony you have a full 180 degree view over the sea. You can also enjoy views over the marina and the swimming pool. The best of all worlds.

The accommodation is ideal for families, young professionals, couples lucky enough to be retired, golfers and those looking for a relaxing break in comfort. Sorry single sex groups under 25 years old are not allowed. Our apartment is on the next level up to the one shown in the TV episode and is bigger and brighter plus it has and additional balcony that is twice as large as the balcony seen in the show. Outside: The apartment balcony is equipped with luxury patio furniture. There is also a selection of beach equipment, tennis rackets etc available. Free private tennis court. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bedlinen and bathroom towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. The apartment is thoroughly cleaned at the start of each rental. Other: Beware some other two bedroom apartments on site are not what they seem!! They are one bedroom apartments where the rear balcony has been covered in and converted into a small additional second bedroom.

Excellent condition and in a great location.

Brilliant, the whole family enjoyed this holiday. Nice quiet location, not to far from the old town and in a nice spot with a fantastic view. Excellent amenities, great pool which we had practicality to ourselves, all the family said we would love to come back next year.

We stayed for 9 days at this property in July - it was excellent, the three balconies captured the sun throughout the day. It was extremely clean and had everything you needed. We would love to return to Portugal again in the future.

Wonderful Apartment

We had a 2 week stay in this lovely apartment. From the initial booking, the owners couldn't have been more helpful and dealt with us in a very friendly and professional manner.

The Apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped and the most stunning wrap-around balcony which allowed us to get sun all day long. The complex is incredibly secure and quiet and the surrounding grounds with the 2 pools are immaculately kept.

I couldn't fault anything in relation to the accommodation and would highly recommend the apartment - absolutely no complaints - it was a fantastic holiday

Excellent location - fab apartment

I stayed at the apartment with my friend in May. It is well kitted out and comfortable and with 3 balconies, it is easy to get a lovely breeze running through it. The views are amazing over the marina and it is only a 10 min walk (downhill) in to the old town.

There is a local shop 5 mins away that had a good stock of all fresh produce and fresh bread each day. There is a large fridge at the apartment to keep everything cool.

The pool was cold, but was just what we needed with the baking heat. You can soon dry off on the comfy sunbeds.

It felt like a home from home and I would highly recommend it.

Lovely apartment with great views

The apartment is spacious and cosy with fabulous views of the sea and the Albufeira marina. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of storage/hanging space. The smallish kitchen has everything you could need. The 3 balconies give views on 3 sides and there are chairs on one of them and a table for eating with chairs and 2 loungers, overlooking the sea on another one.

Access is easy from the car park underneath and by lift or by the front door and stairs, so being on the first floor is easy, even for people who are less able bodied. The swimming pool is clean and lovely, though it is not heated.

The apartment is situated on a hill so a car is recommended, but you can easily walk down to the town where there are many restaurants and bars. The beach is super. There are so many golf courses to choose from in the area. I would recommend Salgados, where you can see lots of birdlife as well as play an interesting round of golf. There is plenty of room to store clubs in the apartment when you are having a golf free day.

The owners were very helpful. Well worth the money.

Car: not necessary


Albufeira has some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe with clean water and golden soft sand, such as Peneco (just 10 min walk, Fisherman's beach, Gale and Sao Rafael. Just a short walk from the apartment is Albufeira Old Town with its whitewashed houses, generous array of cafes, sport bars, restaurants, street entertainers, excellent music venues and late night Boutiques and shops. The Algarve is renowned for its family attractions which include Slide and Splash water park.


The complex is situated between central old town of Albufeira and Albufeira Marina. All amenities are within walking distance including mini supermarkets, internet cafes, cafes, restaurants and bars. Buses to theme parks and other tourist attractions pass nearby. A hire car is not necessary unless you wish to explore the area in more detail. The apartment is just 30 minutes from Faro airport. We can give advice on low cost transfers or car hire.
