Beautiful apartment in Prcanj, Kotor Bay - Peaceful Village Location Close To Kotor Old Town

This newly built apartment is located in the waterfront village of Prcanj, 10 mins drive from the historic and UNESCO protected old town of Kotor. It is the perfect place to unwind either by the pool or swimming in the still waters of the bay a short walk away or enjoying the bars, restaurants and cafes of Kotor. The spacious ground floor apartment is within a recently built development of similar apartments. It has a balcony from which you can relax over a glass of wine whilst marvelling at the wonderful panoramic views over Kotor Bay and the mountains. Prcanj is a wonderful base to explore the beautiful surrounding area, the excellent beaches and the many historical sites. We love the apartment and the peaceful views and hope you do too!

Why Sandra Stocks chose Kotor

Why did we fall in love with this area? You really need to see it to understand why. It is truly stunning. It is the only fjord in southern Europe and to have the Bay and the mountains is just wonderful. I never get bored with coming out onto the balcony of the apartment for breakfast and seeing the majestic view and revelling in the peace and beauty of it all. It really is unique and very special. And with the apartment only one minute walk away from the Bay, we feel especially spoiled!

An amazing Property Manager who look after your every need! Notes on accommodation: Air-conditioned/heating. Reserve water tank. Maintenance person on-site. Apartment is non-smoking and no pets are allowed. Outside: Side and front roadside parking. The swimming pool is for the sole use of the residents of this small development with terraces for sunbathing (swimming pool in use in the peak months, beginning of May to the end of September). Utility Room: Washing machine. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and all bedlinen are provided. The property is cleaned and linen changed once a week, more frequently can be arranged. Other: Large balcony with patio table and 4 chairs with stunning views of the sea and mountains.

Wow! Amazing!!

We stayed at Sandra's apartment the last 10 days in August, we have 3 kids, 6,3 and 1. The apartment was perfect for a family. It had all that we needed, very well equipped, lovely living area with TV and internet, great kitchen with lots of cuttlery and cookware. The bedrooms suited us great, a twin and a double room with good sized wardrobes.

The apartment has a beautiful view and we loved eating breakfast and lunch on the balcony!

The apartment looked great in the pictures, but when we got there it exceeded our expectations, the area is SO beautiful, Prcanj is stunning, with the backdrop of the mountains and a beautiful beach at the bottom of the hill,it really is perfect!

There is a small grocery store at the bottom of the hill also next to the beach, a 10 minutes walk away is a bigger store and the most amazing bakery, try the Krem pita!!

Across the road from the bakery is a great restaurant, it has lots of local food and pizzas for the kids. Try the Cevapi, really really good!

Sandra was so helpful and friendly, Sandra arranged all before we arrived, directions from Croatia and how to find the apartment. When we arrived Anka was lovely and very helpful, Prancj is so great for traveling around Montenegro, we went to Kotor quite a few times, only 10 minutes by car, we also went to Budva, Sveti Stefan, Ulcinj, Mount Lovren and Tivat, but Prancj was definitely our favourite place to enjoy Montenegro!

We loved staying at Sandra's apartment and would definitely love to stay again! Enjoy Montenegro, it really is stunning!! :-)

Well-situated. Modern and clean.

Close enough to Kotor to visit easily but far enough away to have a rustic feel, the apartment was a good choice. I loved sitting in the sun on the balcony in the morning then moving to the pool before heading off to visit in the afternoon! There is a tiny mini-market very close for essentials and two nice restaurants 5 minutes walk on the waterfront. The flat had everything you'd need really. May is a great time for a visit because you get good weather, not too hot and the sites are far from crowded.

Stunning apartment next to the sea, wonderful view

Lovely apartment with great views, very clean, safe and comfortable great place for a holiday. We spet a wonderful holidays with two kids (5 and 10). Anka was very helpful, and good organized. Beach very close and clean. Local shop nearby which was also convenient. Swimming pool is really clean and very helpful, when traveling with children.

Beautiful apartment but could be made better

Sandra was so helpful prior to our trip during correspondence about the apartment and local area. We met the agent looking after it when we arrived in Kotor and followed her to it.

The apartment is beautiful and very clean. It is a short drive from Kotor but the journey is a little hairy until you get used to it! This is the same around most of Kotor Bay. Views make it worth it. The access to the apartment is very steep and we were unable to get the car up the drive one night as it was raining so hard. This could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues.

The apartment is comfortable and spacious but I felt was missing some things one would take for granted in such a standard of accommodation - for example, hairdryer. There was no information in the apartment about the local area which would have been useful, eg. information such as where local supermarkets are located/medical centres in case of emergency or maps/brochures. The agent had told us we could contact them 24 hours but when we needed to their phones were turned off.

Pool clean with great views. Small pebble beach at the bottom of the drive which was great for our kids to play at and for us all to enjoy the water.

I really would recommend this apartment

“Thank you for letting us stay at the apartment which lived up to it’s description 100 %. The added bonus of secure underground parking meant we did not have to worry about our hire car on the very narrow roads! The apartment is very well located in one of the best places around Kotor Bay. Local restaurants you can walk to or a 5 euro taxi ride will get you to Kotor Old Town in 5 minutes which can be described as very similar to Marbella Old Town. Anika’s assistant was excellent and very helpful.

I really would recommend this apartment for a family of 4. Sandra and John (in the UK) were very helpful and bent over backwards to make sure we had a well organised lovely break.”

Une location très bien située

La location de cet appartement est très bien passée, les contacts avec les représentants des propriétaires très bons. l'appartement est spacieux et agréable à 4, (lit bébé si besoin). Seul bémol un gros vis à vis tout le long de la terrasse sur le bâtiment de devant qui est très proche. Seul un coin à une vue sur la baie, la fameuse "vue sur mer" qui est à nuancer... Mais on a beaucoup bougé donc ce n'était pas très gênant. La situation est idéal, la mer est à 10 mètres et la piscine très agréable ! Au bas de l'appartement une épicerie où on trouve de tout, très pratique !

70m from the still waters of the Bay. 10 mins drive from the UNESCO protected medieval walled town of Kotor. Most beaches are nearby - 20 mins drive from the famous Jaz and Tresteno beaches. 30 mins drive from the walled beach town of Budva on the Adriatic coast and a 40 min drive to the beautiful island of Sveti Stefan and Petrovac beaches.

Travel:

Tivat airport is 15 mins drive. Dubrovnik airport is less than 90mins drive away (120 mins during peak season including short ferry crossing costing 4 euros). Daily direct flights with BA. Also Croatia Airlines, Thomson, Flybe and Avro in conjunction with Cosmos fly direct from the UK.

Car hire is also readily available at airports (please ask for recommendation).

Distances:

Kotor 4.5km, Tivat 15km, Perast 18km, Budva 25km, Sveti Stefan 35km, Petrovac 40km, Cetinje (the old hill capital) 60km, Lake Skadar 70km, Dubrovnik 85km, Dubrovnik airport 65km, Podgorica (the capital) 90km.

There are shops, bars and restaurants within 50m. Kozel restaurant- if you want to walk. Café Centar as recommended on Tripadvisor

Pizzeria in old town. Bus stop within 50m with regular buses to Kotor. The Hotel Splendido (with an excellent restaurant) is within 800m. The old town of Kotor with bars, restaurants, cafes, banks, shops is within 4km. Eating out is very inexpensive (excellent fish and meat and local organic vegetable produce together with the wonderful local wine and beer make it an eating out experience).
