Villa in Mojacar Playa, Costa Almeria, Spain - Wonderful for Family or Friends, Minutes from the Beach and Shops

The property has undergone a total refurbishment. The villa boasts its own private entrance and parking spaces to the front and side. The main house consists of a contemporary fitted kitchen, spacious lounge with Satellite TV, stereo and DVD player. The main bedroom, with hot and cold air-conditioning, overlooks the 'campo' and mountains providing superb views. The second bedroom, also with A/C overlooks the private swimming pool and garden area. This newly restored authentic Spanish property is surrounded by secluded terracing which provides direct access to the large 9m x 5m private pool and garden offering fantastic views. The spacious roof solarium complete with sun loungers and outdoor furniture offers panoramic sea and mountain views including Mojacar village. This is an ideal place to relax with a drink and listen to the waves lapping on the shore, or to watch the sunrise and the passing yachts and fishing boats.

We stayed at Breda and Gary's villa for 10 days in June 2011. We had a really good time there. THere were just 2 of us wanting an early summer break so we had lots of room in the villa. Breda was a very friendly and accommodating owner and was able to allay our concerns should we not be able to fly because of the volcanic ash cloud.The villa is very comfortable, clean and well equipped. It is in a quiet but convenient location, being a short walk to restaurants and bars , and also to part of the very long beach in Mojacar. The villa backs onto the countryside and there are lovely views from all the terraces and poolside. The pool itself is great, quite new, large and well-cared for. We spent much of our time in it. It was extremely hot whilst we were there and so we were really grateful for the air conditioning system.We will certainly recommend it to family and friends, and would like to return there ourselves sometime.

Lovely villa in a great location!

We were made to feel very welcome in this lovely villa. The location is great, quiet but easy walking distance to the beach and many cafes and restaurants. The beach opposite Tito's bar is a favourite and we'd recommend Koi Cafe just for the extras! We flew into Almeria and it was an easy and straightforward drive to Mojacar. We hope to be back one day soon and have no hesitation in recommending it!

Have stayed in this villa twice before and love the location, the pool is beautiful and the villa really nice and beautifullly clean, with all you could want Breda who owns the villa is really helpful, and Peter and Christine who look after it are always on hand if you want anything and have loads of local knowledge which is great if it is your first time in Mojocar. Many bars and reataurants in the area,we like Patio 2000 fab burgers and right on the beach, Scottys bar on the Plaza just a few minutes walk on the Playa, and the roof garden at Parque Commercial. We love Mojocar and this is our favourite villa.

The villa is in the enviable position of being quiet and peaceful yet close to all the local amenities including the beach, shops and restaurants. The beach is 3 minutes walk away so no need to worry about parking, there are a variety of beach bars as well as local attractions geared towards children. Activities on the beach include banana boat rides, surfing and diving.


The nearest airport is Almeria which is 50 minutes drive away and used by all the budget airlines such as Easyjet, Monarch, Ryanair and BA. Mojacar is situated on the Costa Del Almeria in the South Eastern corner of Spain, on the shores of the beautiful Mediterranean. It is easily accessible from the new East Coast Motorway. It is approximately 80 kms (50 minutes) north of Almeria, 190 kms (2hrs) south of Alicante Airport and 100 kms (75 minutes) from Murcia airport.


The villa is approximately 3 minutes walk from the beach, shops, restaurants and a variety of bars. The traditional town of Garrucha is 5 minutes along the coast road and further along the coast is Vera where you will find the Water Park with rides for all the family. When the family are tired of the beach there is always mini-golf, horse riding or an exciting afternoon of go-Karting.

Mojacar Playa has been developed over the last two decades and is a lively resort with a lot to offer, its beaches are 9km. long and peppered with beach bars, children’s playgrounds and activity centres. The beach environment ranges from expanses of sand ideal for swimming and sun bathing, rocky coves for diving and snorkeling to deep water areas for rod and line fishing. Mojacar Playa has several lively beach bars, restaurants Internet cafes and a few disco bars which are open late into the night.

Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are provided and changed weekly for visitors staying over 10 days. Please supply your own beach towels.
