Our villa is an lovely hilltop Provencal villa with rustic charm overlooking the picturesque valley of Plan de la Tour. From the elevated terrace beautiful vistas of the surrounding hills and the vineyards in the valley below abound. This rustic Mas offers a tranquil setting for those wishing to relax but still be within easy reach of all the excitement the Gulf of St Tropez has to offer. Situated 10 minutes from the beaches of St Maxime and short drive to the surrounding villages of Grimaud, Garde Freinet and St Tropez makes it an ideal location from which to explore the region.

The Villa is situated on large, private grounds and has 3 spacious double bedrooms each with its own en-suite bathroom. 4th bedroom has a two single bed (trundle bed) ideally for 2 children or 1 adult. A large well-appointed open plan lounge/dining room which is stylishly decorated. Each room is furnished to a high standard and decorated in an elegant Provencal style providing luxurious accommodation. The rooms open out onto a large terrace which runs the length of the house.There is a well situated swimming pool (12 x 6m). This pool can be heated.

Situated 10 minutes from the beach & 18 kms from St Tropez, our summer holiday villa is perfect for those wanting a family holiday or romantic break

Golf: There is an 18 hole Golf course in St Maxime only 5 kms from the house. Beauvallon is approx 10 kms from the villa.

We came to stay in Plan de la Tour for 3 months via a friend. We fell in love with the are and immediately went searching for a villa. We stumbled upon Mas Casaou and bought it. We have never looked back. Its our French dream. We go to the beach in the morning and then go home for lunch and sit by the pool in the afternoons. Its such a huge pool! Its a dreamy villa, great for romance and great for families. We love sitting on the terrace drinking Rose and watching the sunset - the view. It's incredible.

Our party of five loved the property ...the weather for our mid September trip was above normal temperatures and the solar cover helped warm the pool for swimming every afternoon after touring all of the convenient cities and sights within an easy drive. The views set the whole tone...peaceful and relaxing. The photos from the listing were very accurate....the house was clean and comfortable...and we dined every morning and evening on the outdoor veranda. The reservation was easy and communication was excellent with the owner Lisa..and our local onsite contact Hayley filled us in on local options. St. Maxime is a very short drive and has an excellent grocery store...making cooking and soaking up the ambiance of the house and grounds easy. I look at my pictures now that I am home and I still get a "wave" of relaxtion wash over me as I smile... remembering this very special setting.

Relaximg villa with wonderful views

We were a family of 6 plus dog and this villa suited our needs perfectly. The villa itself was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The pool was perfect and breakfast on the terrace with wonderful views was something to look forward to each morning. Sarah, the caretaker, was very helpful and just 5 minutes away if we needed anything. We enjoyed going down to the local village and eating at the restaurants there in the evenings and when we wanted bit of sand and sea Sainte Maxime was just 15 minutes away. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely recommend this villa to friends and family and hope to return ourselves in near future.

Fabulous Holiday

We had the most wonderful time at Villa La Casaou, if possible we would be back tomorrow.

Safe secure private surroundings for our all of our family and pet dog. Beautifully laid out gardens, plenty of sun and shade areas with fantastic views. Great walks up the mountain for any dog lovers, our pet dog was able to run free which was brilliant. Hard work for the humans…….but great exercise

Amenities fairly close, Plan De La Tour has everything you need without venturing to far (markets, restaurants, shopping). St Maxime 10 min drive away and St Tropez 15 min ferry ride form St Maxime, so beautiful………..

We visited Grimaud , St Tropez, Cannes and St Maxime during our stay, all easy to get to and so great to see.

Lots of room within the house with everything you need for daily life, country style with all the mod cons you need. If we had any queries or issues we had on hand access to a Service Manger (who was brilliant by the way)

We are hoping to come back as soon as we can 

What a View

"Hi Lisa!! Just wanted to tell you how much we LOVED staying at your home in the darling town of Plan de la Tour! We had the best vacation - enjoying Paris, St. Tropez, a drive to Monaco, wonderful dinners in the village, running( dying) up

The mountain, shopping , played tennis at the club, and finally our last stop and drop our son off in Barcelona! It was a trip to remember and we hope to get back someday. Your house is so charming-and what a view!!!!

This is a dreamy, romantic, beautiful decorated rustic farmhouse. It has the most amazing views and wonderful feel. Its a large, spacious house with beautiful garden and huge pool. It is perfectly located for day trips or just lazing about.

Coast/Beach:

Driving time to beaches to the beautiful beaches of St Maxime is approx 10 mins or 8 kms. Nartelle is approx 9 kms where you can ski. Incredible beaches in this area - must be seen with View of St Tropez accross the bay.

Best way to get to St Tropez in summer is by boat from Ste-Maxime 10 mins.

Travel:

Toulon is the nearest airport and is 40 minutes away, while Nice Airport is 1 hr 15 mins drive. Marseille is 1 hr 30 mins drive. These airports are severed by many major airlines including British airways as well as Easyjet and Ryan air.

Plan de la Tour can be accessed from Exit 36 (Le Muy) of the A8 (freeway running from Nice to Aix). Take Plan de la Tour exit and our house is on the road between Plan de la Tour and the hamlet of Vallaury.

Notes to the rental rates & General Conditions: After your reservation you will receive our written reservation and invoice. You are requested to sign this & send it back to us, which means that you agree to the rent and general conditions. NB: You have 3 days to confirm booking by return of signed contract and produce proof of payment (faxed copy of deposit or bank transfer).

Deposit required to secure booking is 50 % of the cost of the rental period.

Water, Electricity, Gas, linen, weekly cleaning, pool heatin, linen and towels are included.

Rental Period : Minimum stay 7 days between 1 May and 31 October, starting on Sat 16.00 pm till Sat 10.00 am.

Reservations/Payments: After your reservation you will receive our written reservation and invoice.

Cancellation: Up to 8 weeks before arrival: cancellation costs are 50% of the total rent excluding guarantee. 8 weeks or less prior to arrival 100 % cancellation cost.

Villa Guarantee: €800. These amounts cover eventual damages, breakages, additional cleaning, etc. If there is no damage, the guarantee will be returned to you.

Cleaning: The Villa will be perfectly clean on arrival. Every Saturday during your stay our “femme de menage” will come and clean. This is obligatory.

Number of guests: There is a maximum of 8 sleeping guests. If these maximums are exceeded the rent can be terminated immediately without compensation.

Barbecues: Gas

Responsibility during your stay: You are legally responsible for house (incl. furniture). A third party insurance is obligatory to confirm your booking. If you do not have insurance please contact owner for details.

  • Notes on accommodation: The house has been newly renovated and furnished to a high level. This house benefits from being on a hilltop. Plan de la Tour village is an unspoiled typical provencal village, full of charm with its old lanes and ancient bell tower. It has fabulous restaurants, a bar, grocery stores, tourist office, pharmacy and its own market on a Thursday morning. The more bustling coastal town of St Maxime is only a 10 mins drive and boasts everything you could possibly look for, from designer shops to 6 kms of golden beaches! There is also a regular ferry service from St Maxime to St Tropez, Cannes and Nice. There are many local activities also including golf, horse riding, sailing, tennis, cycling and canoeing etc. Outside: The dining/lounge areas have French windows leading onto the vine covered terrace, perfect for enjoying your shady lunches and balmy Mediterranean evenings. The Villa also benefits from a beautiful large tiled swimming pool (6m x 12m). The pool has a pool cover. There are also secure electric gates and ample parking space for several cars. The garden is fully enclosed and contains mature trees and benefits from a fully automatic watering system. The swimming pool and the main grounds of the villa are not overlooked /shared and are for holidaymakers exclusive use. Utility Room: Separate utility room contains washing machine.
