About the Owner

I usually spend most of the year on Alonissos and so always try to meet guests on their arrival in Patitiri. You will know its me if you see a large cinnamon coloured hound at my side, this is Edward - our adopted Alonissos street dog.

A stoning view

  • 4 of 5

The house has an amazing view to the sea and is located near taverns in graphic ports (Kalamaki, Steni Vala). Also has large rooms and a continuously sweet wind blow. I would like to thanks Julie for her hospitality. The services can be improved with a cleaning policy on demand. I think is worth to stay more than a week.

Incredible

  • 5 of 5

What an incredible house! We stayed at Villa Nissi for 3 weeks with our 3 children and had the best time. The house is spacious, very clean, full of light and extremely well located (not far from the mini village of Steni Vala and a gorgeous beach with cristal waters, all within walking distance). Julie was delightful, always available whenever we had a question and she made sure we had everything we needed at all times: she even left us some homemade apricot jam from the garden ! The house itself is beautiful, with the most stunning views, and very well equipped so we felt at home the whole time. We will defintely miss the noise of the cicadas and the uniqueness of the island of Alonissos and would defintely rent the house again whenever we come back !

Ideal villa location .

  • 5 of 5

A beautiful villa in an ideal location for swimming, food shopping and eating at some excellent tavernas. Only a five minute walk down a pretty Mediterranean track to a local beach. Another five minutes by foot takes you to Glyfa beach, a sparkling pebble beach with lovely views back to the villa. From here its easy to access Steni Vala, a laid back harbour with a great choice of places to eat and two shops for groceries. We used the bus to take us to Patitiri and further afield to the old town.

In the other direction, further up the coast was Kalamakia, Once again a great choice of fresh sea food arriving daily.

Villa Nissi had a light, airy feeling with excellent fans in each bedroom. The views from every room were amazing and to sit on the balcony and look at the stars at night was memorable. We used the barbeque on two occasions and enjoyed the villas surrounding gardens finding places to read, always with a great view across the water.

Villa Nissi is a perfect villa for family and friends, at a perfect location on a beautiful Greek island.

Nice house with fantastic view

  • 5 of 5

The house is tastefully furnished and well suited for 6 persons through the spacious living room and kitchen and three bathrooms Despite the heat, the house was cool. The veranda and sun terrace make the house complete. The view over the sea is fantastic. The large garden around the house is full of beautiful plants and trees.

Contact with the owner was nice and warm. The house, bed linen and towels were very clean. In short: a must!

Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

Our second stay at Villa Nissi and Alonissos and we will be back! First time was in 2010 and this time around it was just as lovely as we'd remembered. Every comfort, beautifully maintained, very peaceful. Several verandas/patios on which to relax and take in the stunning views, 3 mins walk down to very quiet beach and crystal clear waters of Glyfa Bay, 10 mins walk to tavernas/cafes and supermarket at Steni Vala and 15 mins walk to 4 tavernas at the tiny fishing harbour of Kalamakia. If you can drag yourself away, there are lots of lovely bays around the island to explore. Hiring a small boat from the main town of Patitiri is a great way to see the coastline of this beautiful island. A lovely holiday!

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: Please be aware there are steps up to the villa and an open plan stairway to the bedrooms; so it is not perhaps ideal for very young children. Outside: Villa Nissi is set in an acre of hillside olive grove. The land to the front and side of the villa has been terraced and cultivated with additional trees and flowering shrubs. The hillside land to the rear remains in its natural state with a winding path through the wild shrubs and herbs flowering, fruiting and scenting the air throughout the year. There is a stone built barbecue and seating area and additional terraces throughout the garden with the options of sun and shade to sit and while away the hours with a glorious view. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen included and villa is cleaned and linen changed weekly or as requested by arrangement. Other: Covered external veranda with additional dining and seating space and a wonderful view.
