Recently Renovated 6 Bedroom 5 Bathroom - Tourist Board Highest Possible Rating

The chalet is located in the picturesque new build chalet development of les Hameau des Marmottes. Great views of mountain and valley from the balcony and upper floors.

The chalet was rated by the Les Menuires Tourist Board in April 2015 and received the maximum possible rating of 5 stars. It also received the 'charme' annotation which indicated a traditional property in a tranquil location.

The chalet has 6 bedrooms, 4 of which have en-suite facilities with the remaining 2 sharing a bathroom. All rooms benefit from good storage.

There are 2 king size double rooms and 4 twin rooms (3 of the twin rooms can easily be made up into super king size beds.

I loved the location, so near the piste and large enough to have everyone around. Also it was a bit of a wreck when I bought it and I have enjoyed turning it into something special.

We would like to send you a few words after the splendid week we have passed in Les Menuires.

We had a warm welcome by Kris and Kirsten, the chalet was ‘fully’ equipped and clean, the rooms were fine, there was enough hot water when taking showers, the balcony was sunny and offers a great view … we enjoyed it very much. If we have to say something negative, the only thing I can come up with is the fact that the pan in the kitchen were already very ’used’.

Fantastic week in a great chalet by the slopes

Very nice and cosy chalet ideally located. Great deco and fourniture, the living room is perfect for large family diner and after ski moments. The bed rooms are very comfortable and bathrooms have style. Will come back with my family

Great week at Chalet Snowdon !

Despite the mitigated weather, we had a wonderful week at Chalet Snowdon. The chalet is well equipped and very comfortable, with 5 rooms (out of 6) having a private bathroom. Rooms are not so big (especially those of the ground floor), with little space to put all stuffs. Very nice kitchen and table big enough for 13 guests. The chalet is relatively easily accessible for the people skiing. For the others, shops and restaurants of Les Ménuires "downtown" are at circa 10/15' walking distance from the Chalet.

Definitively an address to recommend !

Great stay and fantastic house

We stayed at Chalet Snowdon the first week of the year (January 2th 2016). This is the 3rd time that we are going to the Chalet. It’s just fantastic. We went skiing to the slopes from the house, boot drier and sauna. Slopes are awesome. The house is great for a group of 12 as us, with nearly all bedrooms en-suite. We are 3 families and we all (children and adults) enjoy our stay there. Big sitting room and dining room and this year new arcade machine (fabulous). The housekeeper, Kirsten, is also very nice and helpful. She helped us a lot with anything we need. Nice place to spend winter holidays. Highly recommended.

Chalet Snowdon April 2014

The chalet is beautiful - spacious, comfortable and extremely well equipped. The living area on the first floor is ideal for a large group, or 2-3 families. There are plenty of bedrooms and almost each one has its own en suite (fitted superbly)It was warm, cosy with lovely mountain views. We took our car. so access to free parking adjacent to the ski lifts was possible, making it easy to make the most of the fabulous and huge 3 valley ski region.It was clean and the chalet manager was friendly and helpful. I would recommend very highly and would love to return.

Fantastic Holiday

We stayed in Chalet Snowdon in early Dec 2012 after a huge dump of snow. I think it was the first week the resort was open and there was no-one around. It was the first time the powder wasn't tracked out at the end of the first day.

The chalet was superb. We didn't have any kids with us, but we still used the wii and table football every night. We ate in most nights and the kitchen was modern and well equipped.

The location was great, less than 5 mins walk to the piste and (when we went the right way) we could easily get to our 9am lessons.

Would highly recommend the chalet, very well appointed.

Les Menuires is situated at 1850 and is well located within the Three Valleys ski area. Chalet Snowdon is in the picturesque Hameau des Marmottes, a development of recently built chalets. There are far reaching views of valleys and mountains. There are several ski runs and lifts nearby and the closest piste is approximately 100m from the chalet. In the summer the tennis centre of Les Menuires is also close to the chalet.

Ski: The chalet is situated at 1800m and is a 100m walk from the nearest slope where you can connect into the 3 valleys ski area. It is also 20m from the stop for the frequent free ski-bus where you can get right into the centre of Les Menuires, which is really handy for getting to lessons, lift passes, etc.

The 3 valleys ski area is the largest ski area in the world. The Les Menuires section itself gives a large amount of skiing in its own right and you can be skiing down into either Meribel or Val Thorens after taking just one lift from the centre of Les Menuires.
