'Casa Limero' is a modern villa set alongside the 3rd fairway of this wonderful golf course. Villa has a private pool (8 x 5m) with large terraces & gardens which contain BBQ, garden lounge area, dining table & chairs, sun-loungers & parasols. The villa is surrounded by olive & orange groves that is located 15 minutes drive inland between the mountains and sea; halfway between Barcelona and Valencia. Nearby Vinaros offers large supermarkets, shops, cafes, fresh fish market, marina and access to a number of beaches. The golf complex has a number of restaurants & bars within walking distance. Additional to the 18 hole golf course with its practice facilities there are: Tennis/Paddle ball, basketball, 5 aside football, running & cycle tracks & 2 par 3 9 hole golf courses at the onsite sports facility.

About the Owner

Hola! We are M & L the owners of Casa Limero. We bought this villa after having a brief stay at our friends apartment in 2005 and were captured by the peaceful Spanish life found in this area. Our villa is a home from home kind of place, we still regularly meet up with our friends several times during the year for long weekends or to enjoy a hot summer holiday. We fine weekends out of peak season are great for when the weather at home is cold & damp, particularly for the golfers who enjoy pleasant weather for a longer golf season than at home.

Fantastic Villa & surroundings

This a wonderful Villa backing onto the golf course (with no disturbance) which has everything you could need. We have stayed through Owners direct and this is by far the most well equipped Villa, containing everything you would require.

A lovely pool and lots of space with enough good quality loungers (no cheap plastic one's here!) and chairs for a large family. The terrace is sheltered and the BBQ kept clean.

The Club restaurant is very good and there is a supermarket for your daily needs and a couple of bars/restaurants nearby.

Vinaros is a short drive and has a fine choice of food plus there are also other restaurants also a short drive from the Villa. The beaches are lovely.

We had a great time and would definitely recommend this Villa - the owner provides great supporting information.

Overall this is an outstanding Villa!!

Firstly, the owners communication before, during and afterwards was 1st class as was the care and information by the key holder who met us on arrival and came to see us during the stay. Additionally the breakages deposit was returned promptly on return. we flew from Barcelona airport (2 1/2 hours drive) as we visited Barcelona first and then portaventura on the way down. The villa is stunning and it is obvious the owners care for and treat this villa as a second home and not just a villa to rent out. There is quality in everything from the bedsheets to the coffee maker to sky movies to the power shower to the plates to the BBQ. The Villa is very spacious and very comfortable. The pictures do not do it justice. The pool is a swimming pool and is deep so people with young children or poor swimmers may need to think that, but it was great for us and my kids enjoyed jumping in and swimming under water. The pool area was fab as was the views from either side. It is in a great position in the complex. The villa is in a golf resort that was a lot larger than i would have thought and to be fair could have a few more restaurants and things considering its size. However, we probably wouldn't have used them anyway. You do need a car as the advert states, as it is not in the town, which does has its advantages, but to be fair if this property was on the sea front it would be more like £4k a week and its great having a car to explore the local areas at your leisure. It is a 15-20 minute drive to Vinaros and about a 30 minute to 35 minute to peniscola and a 40 minute inland drive to morrela which are all fantastic place to visit. Vinaros is a very spanish resort with a nice long beach that has been sectioned into coves, there are plenty of sea front and back street restaurant to enjoy plus banks, supermarkets etc. there are some nice spanish streets and historic buildings too. Peniscola has a great old town but the new town is quite a large sea front resort. Morelia is a stunning inland castle town. There is so much to go and see and visit if you have a car and so many different beaches to try. but simply relaxing around this brilliant pool and comfortable villa would be a great holiday in itself. I guess it is what you are used to but this is the best accommodation we have stayed in and i think you would have to have a very wealthy lifestyle back home not to love this villa. We would recommend it 100%.

Heel aangename en verzorgde woning

De vakantiewoning is zeer mooi gelegen met zicht op golfterrein achteraan en zicht op plantages vooraan. Zeer verzorgde en goed ingedeelde woning die tevens zeer goed uitgerust is. Extra is het mooie tuintje. Ook van het zwembad hebben wij bijzonder genoten.

Fantastic Villa

We had a short stay at Lindas Villa for 5 nights as a first holiday with our 11 week old baby.

Linda's communication through email was great, she is very helpful and her directions from the airport are spot on.

The villa is clean, has a well equipped kitchen and the beds are very comfy. The swimming pool is so relaxing.

I would recommend this villa to anyone it is a perfect getaway.

We chose this location because I'm a keen gardener. I have created a Mediterranean garden in this lovely location (my man escapes to play golf whilst I potter!). It's also within a quick easy drive to the mountains, seaside & the quaint towns. The location is quiet & beautiful, in summer there are many social events organised by the club house (within an easy walking distance from the villa). In the spring the heavenly scented orange blossom fills the air & come autumn the orange groves are awash with fruit. You can venture out to the mountain & woodland areas or head down to the seaside & walk along the promenade people watching. June is a time of fiesta colour when many of the patron saint celebrations are held. At various times in the year there are food/wine festivals too.

There are a number of lovely sandy beaches & coves located along the coast, Vinaros (15 mins drive), Sant Carles/Ebre (20 mins), Benicarlo (25 mins) or Peniscola (30 mins) to name a few. The beach areas have a number of cafe/refreshment establishments along the promenade. Vinaros beach has volleyball & child friendly play area facilities. Bicycle hire is available around Vinaros. The refurbished seafront promenade at Vinaros is mainly pedestrianised with underground parking.


Casa Limero is easily accessible from 4 nearby airports, Castellon, Reus, Valencia & Barcelona.

Castellon (45 mins) served by Ryanair, Reus (1 hour) served by Ryanair, Thomas Cook, Jet2 & Air Berlin. Valencia (1 hour 40 mins) served by Easyjet, Ryanair, Vueling & Iberia. Barcelona (1 hour 50 mins) served by Ryanair, Easyjet, BA, Vueling & Iberia. Car hire is recommended.

Further Details:

There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding areas. Vinaros is a traditional Spanish fishing town with a daily market (Mercado). Lots of restaurants are located throughout the town, seafront and marina area. Banks, shops & supermarkets (Carrefour & Simply) are situated within Vinaros town. A karting course, 10 pin bowling alley & cinema are all located on the edge of the town. Peniscola is a beautiful old fortress town used during the filming of El Cid. Morella is an old walled city and is one of the best kept medieval centres in Spain. Traiguera, famed in medieval times as a resting point for travellers it is also known for its pottery. On the edge of the town lies the Hermitage of the Font De la Salut with its gothic & renaissance structures. The Chaplains house is now a restaurant. The Natural Park of la Tinença de Benifassà is located inland just beyond Morella (medieval wall town). The area is covered with black pines, lindens and beech trees which are home to Spanish ibex, wild boars, vultures, Bonelli's eagle and the booted eagle. There is a network of signposted hiking routes linking up the seven towns in La Tinença - Bel, Ballestar, Boixar, Castell de Cabres, Coratxà, Fredes and La Pobla de Benifassà - enabling visitors to experience the rare delights of this well-conserved nature area. On the edge of the Benifassà is the Ulldecona reservoir, boats/canoes can be hired by the dam. Swimming is also permitted in the waters. La Sierra de Irta is located between Alcossebra & Peniscola, the scenery made up of mountains, trails and steep cliffs covering 12kms towards the sea. The trails are used by hikers and mountain cyclists. Port Aventura theme park is located nr Salou and offers the family an excellent day out. To the west of Reus is the acclaimed wine region of DOQ Priorat & DO Montsant with many wineries. During the 1st weekend of May there is an annual Wine fair held Falset. A number of wineries are open to the public throughout the year.

An additional £150 deposit covering security against damages must be paid at the time of final payment. This will be returned after departure, if no damage has been found by the owners. We strongly recommend travel insurance for all our guest for those unplanned travel incidences that can affect a holiday.

Changeover Day:
There is no set changeover day, however where departures and arrivals occur on the same day we advise clients that the property must be vacated by 10am to allow cleaning and preparation for the next client. Arriving clients may not check in until after 3pm (unless by special arrangement).

This is a modern comfortable & spacious villa with a number of home conveniences. We've upgraded the kitchen as we enjoy cooking. Fresh meat or seafood available from Vinaros ‘Merkat’ is prepared & cooked using BBQ on garden terrace. On sunny evenings it’s one of life’s little pleasures is to be sipping a tipple sat watching the sunsets on the western mountains. The villa has three terraces, 1 lower & 2 upper terraces which provide a separate sun retreat. In the garden there is a lovely ‘deep’ pool for cooling off in the summer sun and beyond the pool you can watch the golfer's pass by on 3rd fairway. The garden terrace also has a shaded area to enjoy some respite from the hot sun whilst allowing you to still being near those sunbathing or swimming/playing in pool. For other interests there’s a large LCD TV, DVD & iPod docking station and for those who cannot be away from the internet there’s wifi access to tend to those urgent enquiries!

  • Notes: Local key holder (English/Spanish speaking) provide the meet & greet service. They also look after property & are there to provide a support service for guests in case of problems &/or emergencies. Pool & gardens are maintained by a weekly service during summer season & fortnightly during other seasons. Panoramica Golf & Country Club is a manned security community with access through main gates only. Internet (ADSL) access is available upon request. Note: swimming pool depth starts at 1 metre to a max of 2.5 metres. Outside: To the rear of the house is the large terrace & garden surrounding private pool (8x5m) with shower. Sun loungers, garden table, chairs and parasols are located in garden/terrace (terrace is partially covered by upstairs balcony). A large BBQ is located on the rear terrace (wood/charcoal).
