14 Palm Springs, with own hall door entrance, is a modern excellently maintained and equipped unit in a very private development of 16 single storey units, with 2 bedrooms, sitting/kitchen. Sleeps 4. Looks onto a private patio overlooking a size able private swimming pool, 1.5m at the shallow end. The apartment is equipped with A/C and full Wi-Fi, all mod-cons including Free Sat. TV/DVD, also BBC/ITV.Safe, Books, Hair Dryer, Hair Curler, fridge/freezer, cooker & microwave. Weekly maid service and towels/linen change is provided and the communal areas are maintained to a high standard. Private car park.

We had a truly wonderful holiday in 14 Palm Springs. The apartment is lovely, it has everything we need. Being on the ground floor is a treat, not to mention the pool outside the door! The shopping bag on wheels is absolutely brillliant as we hadn't a car. Very friendly and lovely athmosphere. Mary & family

Pauline Maher. We have stayed at various apartments within the Palm Spring Complex, and this is by far the best one we have stayed in. The owner was easy to reach and replied promptly to any queries we may have had. The apartment itself is very spacious for the 4 of us, and is nicely situated within distance of all the amenities. It has become a home from home to myself and my family, and we are going for 3 weeks this year.

The complex is very secure for children and is a quiet small place great for young and old alike, it will be our fifth time their, and although we have been going to Corralajo for 13 years this is the best place we have stayed in by far.

Fantastic holiday

Gorgeous apartment, travelled with two daughters aged 12 & 10. Lovely pool right outside apartment door and had to ourselves most of the time. Very clean apartment and complex, apartment had everything you could need including a little pull along bag to take to supermarket, a real help, Supermarket only a 5/10 min walk with the main town area a pleasant 15 min stroll, kids enjoyed the walk every evening to town to try out one of the many restaurants. Car is not a necessity, we hired for 1 week and got to see loads of gorgeous beaches. Would recommend Segway tour along coast, kids still talking about it. This was our first time to Corralejo and would definitely return to this Apartment, Patsy was so friendly and helpful to deal with.

Superb accommodation, good layout, clean and well maintained. Quiet complex. Pool is excellent, and bungalow looks straight onto it. Property located only about a 10 mins walk away from the Supermarket, restaurants and beaches. Our favourite beach was Flag Beach. We also got the bus to a couple of places. There really wasn't any need for a car. Patsy was brilliant at answering my emails and questions promptly and also organised our taxi to and from the airport.

We were travelling with two teenage sons, who thoroughly enjoyed their time at Palm Springs and in Corralejo

Absolutely Fantastic

We have returned to Fuerteventura and in particular to Corralejo many times over the last 10 or so years.

For our last visit in October 2013 we were so fortunate to stay in 14 Palm Springs. We were delighted with the location, condition and cleanliness of the bungalow, the accommodation and standard of the equipment. Indeed the communal pool and surrounding area is maintained to the same very high standard. Without writing a “verbose” listing we can summarise by saying that we cannot fault any aspect of the bungalow.

We were so pleased with the holiday that we booked a return visit for the same period in 2014. Unfortunately ill health necessitated a cancellation of the holiday and the owner Patsy Quin was so generous, magnanimous and professional in dealing with the cancellation. Without doubt we will return

Great in all aspects

Palm Springs is a lovely, quiet little complex where everyone was very friendly, most people came back year after year.

Apartment was very clean and well equipped. The whole complex was very well maintained with a beautifully clean pool. It was lovely to have direct access from the patio straight into the pool.

The location was fine with a short walk to a small shopping complex with restaurants and taxis. It was a longer walk round to the harbour but a taxi was only about 3 Euros. All roads had fantastic smooth cycle paths perfect for skateboarding too.

There is a small beach only minutes away from the apartment with clear water good for snorkelling. A 5 euro taxi journey or bus ride however takes you to the fantastic sandy beaches with amazing waves.

The harbour has a great atmosphere with a variety of bars and restaurants. All the fish dishes were excellent and we were never disappointed by any of our meals out.

We would definitely recommend the apartment and resort and will be returning. Our teenage son really enjoyed it.

From the Owner

I love the sea, not man-made. We walk into the village at night and get a taxi home, costs about 3 euros. The restaurants are lovely - El Andaulus, welcome from Birgit, LA Taberna, Juan and Anna lovely welcome for us, Tio Bernabe, rest in my guide in my Bungalow. I have my own parking space right outside my home. The bus goes right by it. The surfing, the Corralejo golfing society, visitors welcome El Cotillo lovely place for a drive or bus.

Special interest holidays:

There is normally a nice cooling breeze in Fuerteventura, which makes it a fabulous venue for wind surfers, scuba diving, fishing and other water activities. Near Corralejo there is a unique dunes beach, formed by wind borne sands from the Sahara, which is a haven for wind surfers and sun worshippers. Even the naturists love this beach! For the young there is a great Water Park and swings and trampolines for the young and young at heart in Corralejo.


The beaches around Corralejo are the best anywhere in Europe. Within 5 minutes walk you can relax on Waikiki beach. The town beach is also excellent, beside the harbour and near a great variety of cafes and restaurants. Just 15 mins walk south of Palm Springs is one of the most beautiful natural beaches and dunes areas you will ever see, 'Las Dunas' - 8km of protected national park, a favourite for surfing, kite surfing and windsurfing. Day trips to El Cotillo and Morro Jable are worthwhile.


Forteventura Airport is served by Ryanair, Easyjet, Aer Lingus. Also by Thomas Cook and a lot of holiday companies. Car hire on the Island, including all taxes, is exceptionally good value for a holiday destination, with a mid-sized car in 2007 costing in the order of 130 to 140 euros per week. Petrol is at bargain basement cost of around 80 cents per litre. The Airport is about 40 minutes drive from Corralejo. A taxi home at night from Corralejo costs around 3 euro.


This is a small island, with all its sights accessible on day trips. There is a local supermarket just 3 minutes away. Also there is Hiper Dino just five minutes away (walking).

Further Details:

The complex is located on Fuerteventura Avenue, just 15/20 minutes leisurely stroll from the town centre of Corralejo, harbour and beaches. The town, which is quaint, has all the character of an old town, including a Music Square and Harbour, has all the services one would require including a multiplicity of excellent restaurants, where two can dine painlessly for less than 50 euros, including wine. A second bottle of wine is very affordable! Our favourite restaurants include El Andaluz, Tio Bernabie, La Taberna, La Sombrero and Poco Loco. The town itself has excellent atmosphere, is very relaxed and safe which really adds to the experience of chilling out in a beautiful climate. The calibre of people that drink lager to excess and may disturb your space are a rarity in Corralejo!

  • Notes on accommodation: No smoking requested indoors. The pool is not suitable for small children unsupervised as shallow end 1.5m. Outside: The complex is private and very peaceful with all 16 units. Number 14 looks directly onto the pool, which is always very well maintained and enhanced by selective planting. The patio is discreet, separated from its neighbours by screen walls. The table, chairs and loungers, beautifully enlightened by the most comfortable chair covers, make it an enjoyable area for both sun worshippers and socialising. Utility Room: None, but the bungalow is equipped with iron and washing machine. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Kelly, a smiling and helpful English lady provides a maid service involving a weekly cleaning, change of towels and linen. Tony maintains the common areas and pool and on request, Kelly can sort out minor maintenance issues that arise. Other: Private patio overlooking the pool equipped with table, ( can carry 8), sun brolly and loungers for 4, beautiful chair covers.
