About this property

Provencal style villa with private pool, located in a small private road within the prestigious Pont Royal Golf and Country Club, between Aix-en-Provence and Avignon. Built, furnished and equipped to a high standard it is spacious and comfortable with enclosed and private gardens to front and rear.
With access to the adjoining Pierre and Vacances holiday village, Villa Occitane is ideal for a family holiday, golf holiday or as a base to explore the surrounding splendours of Provence. Many of the famous villages of Provence such as Lourmarin, Gordes, St Remy, Eygalieres, are a short drive away.
Pool is cleaned twice each week, linen changed weekly free of charge. The villa manager lives within the Domaine and meets guests on arrival to answer any questions.

Family summer holiday

We spent a week in the villa this summer with kids age 9-15. The weather was extremely hot so we spent most of the time by the lovely pool or under shade in the garden. Villa itself very well equipped, we ate lunch and some dinners in. Thanks goodness it has fans for the bedrooms which we needed. Village (in the golf resort) was a 15min hilly walk but we had to drive (too hot) if the kids came. We had a couple of nice dinners there and not expensive. It’s a bit too quiet for teenagers, that’s why I gave location 4*. We did drive to Wave Island waterpark (40min) which also had a theme park next door. Also visited Caves of Thouzon (lovely and cool). Small supermarket in the resort village good for daily bread, sometimes milk or Intermarche In Mallemort a short drive away. Good value for money for a villa this size with pool and large garden, would recommend for a relaxing/chilled out holiday.

Beautiful villa, great location

The villa was immaculately clean and well equipped with a beautiful garden and private pool. My family felt at home immediately. The location was ideal for us, a short walk from the village and a short drive from other villages and towns that we wanted to visit. Deborah was helpful in the booking process, even giving us tips on local vineyards!

Lovely, Relaxing Villa in a Great Location

A really relaxing stay in this spacious, well equipped villa in a great location. Booking process was very smooth, accommodated a late arrival and we received a very helpful welcome from the local property manager. We are not golfers, but that matters not as this is just a really peaceful location to escape from it all. It's also well located for day trips out and there is plently to do in this very scenic region of France when you are not relaxing by the pool. All considered, a great holiday.

The most peaceful relaxing holiday location

This is our second year returning to this villa and with two children it is idyllic. So peaceful and in prime location for walks, local shops and restaurants. The location is quiet and the villa is stunning! Everything accommodated for with fantastic grounds and a gorgeous pool. So good we are returning for our third year next year and for longer. If you want to chill out and relax - this is the place for all the family.

Excellent villa in a wonderful setting

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Occitaine in the heart of Provence. The villa was exactly as described in the listing and was very well equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. The villa is in a wonderful location for visiting beautiful places such as Avignon and Salon de Provence. We even visited the pretty village of Chateauneuf du Pape famous for its wines! Pont Royal country club where the villa is located is a well established private development with a selection of restaurants which we enjoyed too. We are a family of four with teenage children who enjoyed hiring canoes on the lake and swimming in the lovely pool at the villa which has a selection of inflatables. Deborah managed our booking with great efficiency and the management agent was very helpful on arrival. We would definitely recommend this villa to family and friends.

We are a British family who currently live & work in Singapore. Fell in love with Provence many years ago and still love the place!
Purchased the villa 14 years ago and have rented to many happy guests since. Only wish we could spend more time there ourselves....

Why they chose this property

Villa is light and spacious with a lovely garden to front and rear. Plenty of sun and shaded areas to keep everyone happy. It is very well equipped for those who like to cook and has a gas poolside bbq.
We chose this location as it is so easy to visit Aix, Avignon and the beautiful villages of the Luberon and Alpilles. We do also play golf and Pont Royal is a fabulous course. The choice of local restaurants, vineyards and village markets is endless but we are always happy to recommend if asked.

What makes this property unique

The villa is equipped as our holiday home not as a rental investment, hence the well equipped kitchen, Nespresso machine, Apple TV system, good quality bedding etc.
