House in Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria, Canary Islands - 10 Mins Walk from the Beach and Only 5 Mins to the Shopping Centre

This privately owned two storey house is in an ideal position and is great for families and friends. There is lots of space in the Arizona complex and also lots to do in Puerto Rico, but the main attraction is the micro climate weather that gives all year round sunshine. The lovely beach and harbour are only about 10 minutes walk away. The new Amadores Beach is a further 15 minutes stroll. Argiuineguin fishing village and market is about 5 kilometers away. Mogan with its fantastic marina can be a great day out and you can catch the boat from the harbour every hour.

Notes on accommodation: This is a great location for families and friends. Outside: Large swimming pool about 100 yds away. Utility Room: Large utility room with New washing machine, stainless steel sink and clothes drying area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels linen are included. The property is cleaned and the sheets and towels are changed weekly. Other: New enlarged patio with two tables and chairs and Umbrella plus two sunbeds.

We spent a week at this apartment (5-12 Nov 2016), it's in a great location, within easy walking distance to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops.

When we first arrived Tony was there with 2 sets of keys and explained somebody got locked out the back and he had to break the back door lock to gain access and he will keep 1 set of keys and he will be back tomorrow to fix the lock and give us the other set of keys, we never seen him again, it made it a bit awkward only having the one set of keys for the 2 of us.

On looking around the property we had to go and do some shopping as a lot of the basics weren't there, toilet roll, water, cloths, cleaning products etc.

This property requires maintenance/upgrading.

There is a nice outside terrace which gets the sun from 11am until about 6 pm, however the furniture needs replacing, the two sun loungers are rather grubby.

The living room and kitchen area was quite nice, but again the furniture needs replaced, they are old, dirty and uncomfortable. The inside of the fridge needs a good clean, likewise the microwave, inside and out.

Both bathrooms are old and grubby, the taps are filthy, shower enclosures filthy, tiling and grout filthy, the list is endless.

There is no air con, you can't sleep with the windows open as the music from the bars is so loud and goes on until about 4am, there are fans provided but are louder than the music.

The bedding is old and grubby and of poor quality, the pillows were the same, the towels were old and poor quality, not sure what they were washed with but but they smelt terrible.

We had an enjoyable week here despite this review, Puerto Rico is a really nice place with lots of nice restaurants and bars.

Excellent Location

The location is excellent, however this means lots of noise from nearby bars at night, seems to be mostly residential, everyone friendly. The property is dated and tired, ceiling tiles missing in GR Floor shower room, cleanliness not good, lots of small ants, both sun loungers need replaced and not enough hot water! Wifi good

The accomdation was perfect. With all amenities needed. Clean and conviently located. A lot of accomdation in Puerto Rico is staggered up the hillside with hundreds of steps. This charming littlle house is maximum 5 mins walk from the commercial centre up approximate 70. The commercial centre has numerous bars resurants supermarkets and shops. The house is set in a gated private area . We had the pool to ourselves every day. The beach and harbour are a pleasant 15 minute walk. For a good adult night out check out Trixi Lyx show(not for the faint hearted). Both the Dave and Tony offer excellent support if needed and can arrange transfers from the airport. Will definatly book again

What a Fantastic Property

I recently stayed in this property with my family that includes three young children under four years, and can honestly say that we found the owner Dave to be very helpful and obliging in the booking process. Can you believe he even purchased a new cot and highchair for our needs.

We found this luxurious villa to be easily accessible in an excellent location in the centre of Puerto Rico and both clinically clean and laid out with all the mod cons that you would associate with a home. My good lady was particularly impressed that there was a washing machine available for use as she made three washes of the children's clothes during our week long stay with great drying of course! Also the children were entertained in the evening time with the Disney Channels on the tv, which meant Mammy and Daddy could relax over a glass of wine on the balcony.

Once again, a big thank you to Dave and to Tony for making our weeks holiday a thoroughly enjoyable one.

Ideal location, Excellent accommodation

I would just like to thank Dave for making this holiday one of the best stress free ones we have taken over the years. From the first contact in booking right through to his friend taking us back to the airport at end of holiday. The house was lovely, clean, and with everything you needed.

We work hard and wanted a quite relaxing holiday and although not far from the pubs and restaurants we were able to achieve this.

This house is well situated to be within walking distant of shops, marina and we would recommend it as we hope to return again next year.
