Vilamoura is a beautiful, upmarket resort, only 25 mins from Faro airport. It boasts 5 golf courses, a beautiful marina with shops, restaurants & bars and fantastic sandy beaches. Miragolfe is a small development of 16 apartments, located on the Millenium golf course. This ground floor apartment has been beautifully furnished and equipped to a very high standard.

About Mark

We are the Loughran family from Belfast. We have 3 young children who love holidaying in Vilamoura. We found the Algarve in '03 and have been returning every year since then.

We like to totally relax when we are on holiday - Vilamoura never lets us down, we find new things every year! Mark loves golfing, while we lounge around the pool. We all love taking trips to the local beaches, water parks or just wandering around the marina. There are great walking/cycling paths all around Vilamoura so we also like to hire bikes for a few days.

We bought the apartment in '07 and have been letting out to families and golfers since early '08. We have had great feedback from our clients which is really important to us. Our Portugese rep, Anna, is meticulous in ensuring all our clients are happy.

Why Mark chose Loule region

We first visited the Algarve in 2003 and fell in love with it! We were bowled over by the cleanliness and the range of things to do in the Vilamoura area. The roads, cycle tracks and walking paths had all been upgraded, providing safe walking & cycling all around the Vialmoura area.

The apartment is on the Millenium golf course, just 7 mins drive frm the marina and the local beaches. Falesia beach is an award winning beach which can only be described as picture postcard! It is well maintained and offers many water sportsfor the more active families.

There's many water parks in the area, we particualry like Zoo Marine, as it provides both animal shows and few kids rides.

The golf courses in the area are great value, with many deals offered during the summer months

What makes this apartment unique

We have tried to create an apartment that is both suitable for families and golfers. It is ground floor so is particularly easy for families. We sunbathe in the south facing garden while the kids sit in living room(out of the hot sun), we relax in the evening on the patio while the kids sleep in bedrooms close by.

There are 2 pools surrounded by grass for great sunbathing & chilling out. The big tree offers shade for the little ones.

We tend to make the most of the long warm evenings so we eat in quite alot - the kitchen is well equipped, with everything you should need! There are a few great supermarkets in the area, offering top quality meat and veg for a great barbeque.

There are also many restaurants in the area - offering differing menus to suit all tastes & wallets.
