'Jasmines' is a residential complex in La Reserva de Altea Hills. This stunning, light, spacious apartment is beautifully furnished and includes high quality tiled floors. Double glazed patio doors lead from the lounge and bedroom to an extra large terrace with views over the bay of Altea and the Sierra Bernia Mountains. Jasmines has a choice of 2 large outdoor pools, with pool lighting. Set within landscaped gardens. Close by is the Louis Campomanes yachting marina with its bars, restaurants and water sports. The Old Spanish and Artistic Town of Altea, with its famous church and palm-fringed esplanade, is only 3 miles away and boasts many bars, cafes and quality local and international restaurants. Altea has fabulous shops and a famous market visits each week. Nearby are many golf courses with the Don Cayo course only minutes away. Nestled between Calpe and Altea, Jasmines is well situated and within walking distance to the beach, but also giving the choice of the best beaches.

I live in England with my husband, we have two sons and a king Charles spaniel . My husband and I both work, but spend most of our holidays in Spain, where we have made many friends and have really fallen in love with the country

Why The Owner chose Altea Area

We love Altea because of the fantastic coastline and views. There are some beautiful beaches and the marina boasts a range of bars and restaurants. There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible with Alicante airport less than an hours drive away

What makes this apartment unique

Our property has a larger than average terrace area overlooking the bay, beautiful gardens and pool area. All that you need for a relaxing holiday.

It is conveniently located for touring the area and a relaxing home to come back to after a long day enjoying the sun.

'Had a fabulous time at Los Jasmines. Apartment was very comfortable and relaxing. It is very tastefully decorated whilst still creating a homely feel. The spacious balcony was ideal for sun-bathing and dining. It was nice to be able to walk to the port where there are some lovely bars and restaurants. Altea itself is charming and suits all tastes.

Great property in a wonderful location

We arrived quite late in the evening but we still had a welcome greeting by Darren from the management company. The apartment was ideal for our family of 3 and was well equipped. We found the extra large terrace area good for when we ate in the evening. The two swimming pools were fantastic and we found they were never too busy. We would definitely look to return again.

Ideally located lovely apartment within a quiet area. Perfect base for exploring Altea and Calpe

Myself, husband and teenage daughter have just returned from a very enjoyable stay at this apartment.

Situated in a quiet block and being a corner ground floor apartment the veranda was a great size with gorgeous sea view and overlooking the pool.

Kitchen facilities were adequate for the handful of meals we cooked. Super to have a dishwasher and washing machine to use but do take your own tablets as I had done.

Both bedrooms were a good size with plenty of wardrobe/ drawer space and lots of coat hangers!!

Nice big mirror in the bedroom and enough sockets... very important for us ladies doing our hair etc.

Never seemed to get a signal on the tv but wasn't a problem as we don't go away to watch Telly.

Wifi was brilliant mostly... just the last day we didn't get it for some reason.

Pool area for our block was lovely ... few sunloungers and always seemed to manage to get one when we did go to the pool which was very clean.

The apartment was ideally placed to explore the surrounding areas so I would say you definitely need a car and there was always plenty of parking at the back.

There was air conditioning in each bedroom and the living room but unfortunately it wasn't great so we did use the ceiling fans but when it's the height of summer it's still so warm. So that would be my only fault.

But absolutely super apartment which we would certainly use again . A lovely part of the Costa Blanca to visit .

Also would just like to mention that Anita the owner was a pleasure to deal with and she recommended some great eating places.

Not sure why you didn't get a TV signal as not usually a problem , maybe just needed retuning by our maintenance team so good to know. Yes the ceiling fans are a good back up for the air con which is normally sufficient but all doors and windows do need to be kept closed at all times while working. Really appreciate your comments as it really helps us to maintain our standards and so pleased you found Jasmine's a great base for you holiday. Thanks Sara and you are welcome back any time X

Fabulous apartment,well equipped clean and spacious,well maintained and very comfortable home from home.Immaculate landscaped gardens and pool areas ( had pools to ourselves most of the time in mid Aug).Lovely large terrace with fantastic views over the bay where we watched the fireworks at midnight. Good location for sightseeing and enjoyed restaurants at local marina.Quite hilly and need a car. Prebooked a train journey/hotel to the lovely city of Valencia.A perfect fortnight.

Very Relaxing Stay

We've just spent three weeks in Spain and spent the final week of our holiday at Jasmines, a very relaxing stay! The apartment is ideal for a family of four, spotlessly clean, very comfortable with a superbly sized shared swimming pool which never seemed to be too busy.

Within a five minute drive there is a Marina with a selection of bars and restaurants and two pebble beaches. It is conveniently situated for exploring the area, Calpe with it's sandy beaches is a short drive away, as is the quaint old town of Altea.

We had a fabulous week and look forward to returning in the future.

Coast/Beach:

The Bay of Altea stretches for 6km. The area boasts many ‘blue flag’ beaches outstanding for their clear water:

Altea Playa de l’Olla is a popular very clean pebble beach with abundant marine life. During the summer, buzzy beach bars serve delicious fresh seafood. Playa de Cap Negret, to the north of the town, is a shingled beach ending in a small cove called the 'Cala del Soio'.

Calpe is famous for the Rock of Ifrach and many sandy beaches, 1 of which is Levante Beach (approx. 2000m long).

Travel:

The apartment is only 40 mins from Alicante airport and 70 from Valencia along the main A7 coast highway.

Distances:

Altea 3 miles. Calpe 2 miles. Benidorm 8 miles. All distances are approximate.

Further Details:

Altea has many excellent restaurants, boutiques, banks and a number of supermarkets. It has an excellent indoor air-conditioned market with a wide choice of salads, fruits, vegetables, fresh and cured meats and superb fish. Open 7.30 - 2.30 Mon to Sat. Altea also has a large famous outdoor market which visits on Tuesdays and Calpe has a market on Saturdays.

On the road to Altea a few minutes drive from the apartment is Mas y Mas, a good, medium sized supermarket that caters for its international customer base and sells lovely fresh bread baked on the premises.

In Calpe there are a number of very large supermarkets

and an extensive range of restaurants specialising in international cuisine to those offering typical dishes of the area.

Calpe has a Fish Market Hall: You can watch the fish auctions held in the afternoon from Monday to Friday, starting at 15:00, from the spectators gallery inside the building.

Altea, Calpe and surrounding areas offer something for all ages and tastes. Altea with its cultural status offers fine arts within dozens of art galleries, antiques galore, and tiny craft shops with hand made goods filling the shelves. For the more active there is cycling, walking, scuba diving, tennis, golf and much more all just a few kilometres away. For teenagers and children we have the attractions of Mundomar sea world, Aqualandia Water Park, and Terra Mitica theme park just a short drive away.

Visit Fonts Del Algar a natural waterfall in the mountains and swim and relax.

Guadalest is also well worth a visit to see the monastery and views from the surrounding area.
