The apartment on the Private Bella Luna complex has air conditioned bedrooms also ceiling fans. A large sunny patio and garden. Located close to everything you would need. The resort has attractive gardens, a large swimming pool with waterfall and centre snack/bar and is security gated. 5 mins walk to shops, bars and small beaches. Large supermarket within walking distance. Wifi is accessible by paying through Hotsplots at the apartment, and free for a purchase at the swimming pool bar.

About the Owner
Hi, I'm Ray, a retired Shopkeeper. My wife Lyn and I spend as much time as possible at the apartment in Cala Egos, enjoying the company of family and friends who frequently visit. We also take the occasional Cruise, love traveling and visiting other countries. We have both lived in Plymouth all our lives and have 3 sons Chris, Andrew and Matthew. We were delighted when our first grandchild was born in July 2013, and our second in 2014.

Why Ray chose Santanyi
During a visit to Cala D'or we thought it would be a lovely place to have a holiday home. We viewed many apartments that were for sale in the area but fell in love with Bella Luna. The swimming pool is one of the largest around and the gardens always look attractive.
We chose a ground floor apartment where the sun shines on the patio and garden from early morning to late afternoon. The perfect place to relax or have a BBQ, and ideal for children.
What makes this apartment unique
Bella Luna is just across the road from the restaurants, bars and shops in Cala Egos, and a 20 minute stroll around the beautiful Marina into Cala D'or, or a few minutes in a taxi. There are a couple of small bays a short distance away but our favorite beach is Mondrago just a short drive or bus ride away.

We had a fabulous holiday in Ray and Lyns apartment. It was spacious clean close to all amenities and they had thought of everything , even lilos and bucket and spades for the children to use. The pool is the best I have ever been too and we loved the area too . We had a car so explored a bit more and visited some beautiful beaches. Thank you we have already booked for next year.
In a word this apartment is “Perfect”. The location is fantastic, the pool brilliant and we could not have asked for anything more. The apartment itself is superbly equipped – plenty of CDs and DVDs for entertainment should you need it, spacious patio area and garden for lounging in the sun, brilliant BBQ and very comfortable rooms. The poolside never got crowded at any time of day and we could always find space. The apartment complex is within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars and only about 15 mins walk into the marina itself although you could take the tourist train which runs regularly. We would have booked again for 2015 but unfortunately this apartment was taken for the time we wanted to go – shows how popular the place is.
This place has evertyhing. Having stayed on Majorca over 10 Times I thought I had seen everything the island had to offer, what a pleasant surprise Cala Egos was. Tucked far enough away from the maddening crowd, but close enough to everything you could ever wish for. We stayed a week and only scratched the surface of what was on offer. Firstly the apartment, I couldn't have picked better if I had tried. Ground floor with extra garden space, the sun in the morning and nice shade later in the day. Very clean and well equiped, obviously used as a home with some of the touches left for everyone to use. I have stayed in some sparse villas which were obviously just businesses, this one isn't. Very close to the best pool I have ever had access to, no mad rush to reserve loungers, always spare no matter what time of the day. I little oasis of a bar in the middle of the pool to mean you really don't have to move all day if you don't want to. We often stayed round the pool till 8, it was that laid back and relaxed we didn't feel the need to rush off anywhere else. Cala D'or is a very short walk or Taxi ride away. There are multiple beaches close by to visit. The owners Ray&Lyn was always quick to reply to any questions / emails, again not always the case. We would certainly recommend this place for any family / close groups.
Bella Luna Garden Apt
Fantastic apartment! Very well equipped - the owners have thought of everything that a family could need! The garden area is an added bonus - very pretty and lovely to come back from a day at the pool/beach and relax overlooking it. The location of the apartment is perfect - 5 mins to shops, beach, restaurants. The Bella Luna complex is a great place to stay - the fact that the apartments are privately owned means that it is never too crowed around the pool. The pool itself is large and there's a great pool par too. Highly recommend!
Just returned from a great holiday in Cala Egos staying in a lovely apartment in the Bella Luna complex. The apartment was very comfortable, very well equipped with all the little extras to make it very homely. Fab terrace, a minutes walk to a great pool area with Central snack bar, which is a bonus on an apartment complex. We had two 16 year olds with us who had more than enough to occupy them, especially with the tennis courts which they used every day. The whole area of Cala D'Or is within walking distance and feels so safe that the the boys had no trouble venturing out on their own most nights, bonus for us! We had great meals every night especially around the port catering for all tastes. A very relaxing holiday in a fab apartment which I can highly recommend.

Activity and Interests
There are many beaches around Cala D'or two small coves can be walked to in a five minutes. Larger beaches such as Cala Mondrago can be reached by tourist bus, the stop is across the road. There is, of course, the beautiful beach Es Trenc, but be warned this is popular with nudists.
Palma airport is about 45 minutes away. A taxi will cost about 65 euros. A car is not essential but can be useful for exploring this beautiful island. Which can be rented locally or from the airport.
If you do have access to a car, the local markets are worth a visit. The Sunday morning market at Felanix is recognised as being one of the best in Mallorca, and a good place to pick up some locally made pottery, but be prepared to haggle for the best bargains. Also worth a mention are the fruit and produce markets which are held at nearby Santanyi every Wednesday and Saturday morning.
There is a large supermarket within walking distance, for all your needs, and also a local bank. Cala D'or marina is a 10 minute walk and has moorings for 565 vessels up to a maximum length of 20 metres. It certainly helps to raise the profile of the resort to have a lot of expensive yachts moored here. For a busier location, the centre of Cala D'or has many more restaurants, bars and shops, about a 20 minute walk around the marina or 5 euros in a taxi. There are many interesting places to visit, such as the famous caves of Drach which are open all year round (children under 7 are admitted free). Marineland, the marine zoo in Puerto Portals has an internationally awarded dolphin show as the parks top attraction, along with Sea Lion and Parrot Shows. There are many glass bottom boats which will take you out on delightful trips for 2-3 hours. You can embark from Cala Do'r or Cala E'gos.

Up to 8 weeks no cancellation charge, 4-8weeks 50% of rate refunded, 2-4 weeks 25% of rate refunded, less than 2 weeks no refund.
