A spacious 2 bedroom apartment with large private sunny terrace. It consists of the whole of the first floor of a large private villa in its own grounds in the centre of Empuriabrava. The spacious terrace overlooks the beach and has ample space for dining and sunbathing. Just a few minutes walk from all amenities, situated in one of the best locations in the resort. It is ideal for a family beach holiday, or for a base for exploring the area. Car hire is not necessary, airport transfers can be arranged if required. The apartment has secure private access via stairs leading up at the side of the property. Special baby and toddler packages available with cot, high chair, etc, air-conditioning in bedrooms. About the Owner

We first visited Empuriabrava in 2005 and immediately fell in love with the town and Costa Brava. It is a lovely family resort with long sandy beach. We bought our first property that same year. In 2008 we bought Villa Bahia. Having spent many self catering holidays in accommodation that had insufficient amenities in the house we decided that we wanted to make all of our villas 'home from home' and equipped them with plenty of crockery, kitchen utensils, TV's wifi etc.. to ensure our guests had the best holiday experience we could possibly provide. We now own 6 superb properties in Empuriabrava that are all available for holiday rental and offer superb accommodation and personal service. Perfect location

We had a six week stay in Empuriabrava, split between two locations. This apartment has a large patio with a view of the main beach. With two bedrooms and a well furnished lounge/dining area/kitchen there was more than enough space for the two of us. The bonus was two refrigerators. The large patio housed a barbecue, which we used most days. There were several lovely cafés and restaurants facing the beach, and the main commercial and restaurant street is just 300 feet behind offering a supermarket and every sort of restaurant you could want. A short walk takes you to the harbour where you can spend many hours watching every type of boat coming in or out. It is also fun to watch the windsurfers and kite boarders, which are very colourful and exciting in the winds of the Costa Brava. The owner, Katherine, was extremely helpful - so much so that we spent the next four weeks in another of her properties!

Owner's Response: We endeavour to make all of our accommodation 'home from home' to provide the perfect holiday. Small things like 2 refridgerators, adequate crockery and kitchen utensils etc. can make a huge difference to the enjoyment for our guests so we try to ensure the properties are well specified, clean and tidy, and that the guests (who are generally English speaking) have access to a local representative that is English in case they experience any problems during their stay. It is very rewarding to hear that all of our hard work is appreciated.

Location

From the Owner

Villa Bahia consists of 2 completely self contained apartments that may be rented separately or together as one spacious 4 bed villa. It's location is the best in the resort, in the centre just a few minutes walk to all of the amenities plus still in a little oasis of calm with other villas. The first floor apartment overlooks the sea front and is bright and sunny with south facing windows and terrace.

Coast/Beach:

Overlooking the long safe sandy beach.

Travel:

A car is not required as all amenities are just a few minutes walk.

Gerona Airport is just 40 minutes away with cheap flights from most UK destinations. Transfers from Girona or Figueres included from June to September.

Perpignon Airport 1 hour, Barcelona 2 hours.

If travelling by car, 750 miles (12 hours) by motorway from Calais.

Distances:

Many villages and places of interest within a short drive. To each side of the town there are traffic free walking/cycling routes through protected land.

Further Details:

On the outskirts of town is the largest skydiving centre in Europe, try a tandem sky dive (no experience necessary), or just go to watch the fun. water park, go-kart track, leisure centre and swimming pool, boat hire (with or without licence), bird sanctuary, tennis, golf at Peralda, pitch and putt etc. all within easy access.
