great little villa

This was a great little villa for the 2 of us, when our son, fiancé and 3 year old grand daughter arrived for a week it felt a bit overcrowded, especially around the pool. It did not stop us from having a great time as we were on the beach every day. We had 3 weeks there and found the village of Lardos great as is meant we could have some evenings when we could walk to a taverna and not have to take the car. The villa was well equipped had every thing we needed.

cons: the villa was not cleaned after the second week so we did not have clean towels.

Villa was double booked for part of he 3rd week and we were asked to move, but we refused saying we were settled and the new customers were already packed so they agreed to let us stay for the rest of our holiday.

There are many cats around the area so I was feeding them morning and evening, but they are not a bother.

All in all it was a great holiday and for 2 or 3 people I would say the villa is great

Excellent villa with all the essentials provided.Clean,spacious, and close to village of Lardos, only 2 minute walk.Restaurants and bars great, especially Valentinas, Roulas and Bojangles.Beaches within 10minute drive Glystra and Plakia, also Pefkos worth a trip.Philosohia restaurant also delicious with a great view.Will be returning to the island soon.

The villa in Lardos had all we needed for a wonderful stay, and central to the Village of Lardos. We have stayed in Lardos 6 times, and will definately return.Valentinas is or favourite restaurant, though Roulas and Bojangles come in very close, with great choice.The pool at the villa was lovely as temperatures get really hot in July and August, and if the kids need a break from the sun, the T.V/dvd should help to entertain them. If you wish to venture out of Lardos, pefkos is busier, and Philosophia restaurant has amazing view, and relaxed setting.Glystra beach is also one of our favourite places.We will definately return.

Special interest holidays:

This villa offers excellent accommodation and location if you are planning to get married, or attending a wedding, on the south coast of Rhodes. It would make an ideal honeymoon retreat. If you simply want to enjoy local village life then Lardos makes the perfect setting. The island of Rhodes can be enjoyed all year round and it enjoys over 300 days of sunshine.


The beach is only 2km from the villa which will only take a few minutes in the car or approximately 20 minutes if you decide to walk. Lindos also offers attractive beaches and you can try your hand at the water sports on offer.


Rhodes airport (also known as Diagoras Airport) is approximately a 45 minute drive. Cars can be hired and collected from the airport and there is taxi rank directly outside the airport. Taxi cost is approximately 70 euros to Lardos.


Rhodes Town is approximately a 40 minute drive. The nearest water park is located in Faliraki which is is approximately a 20-25 minute drive. All amenities such as supermarkets, bakery, pharmacy, bars and restaurants are in Lardos Square which is just a 2 minute stroll from the villa.

All amenities such as supermarkets, bakery, butchers, bars, tavernas, pharmacy, doctor, dentist and restaurants are in Lardos Square which is just a 2 minute stroll from the villa. The local bakery is always popular with guests for fresh bread and pastries but you need to be up early to get the incredibly delicious fresh doughnuts. There is a cash point machine available at the local petrol station just outside the village. Also a bus stop and taxi rank.

  • Notes on accommodation: This property offers contemporary living with a Mediterranean climate during the summer months. This property is fully air conditioned and is double glazed with wooden shutters. As well as offering summer accommodation this property is also suitable for anyone wanting to live the 'Greek life' during the winter months. It is located in a beautiful cul-de-sac and offers fantastic views of the surrounding area. This villa is for non smoking guests only. Smoking is strictly not permitted inside the villa Outside: The villa is set on a private road and has a covered car port at the front and a small garden which offers a cooler area to sit in the afternoons. To the rear is a sun terrace, patio area and a good sized swimming pool (8x4m). The patio area is partially covered and offers shade during the hot sunny summer days and has a glass top table and chairs. On the sun terrace there are 4 sun loungers. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bedlinen and bathroom/wc towels are provided. The villa will be cleaned weekly and bedlinen/towels will be changed. Pool will be cleaned 3 times per week. Guests will need to provide their own beach towels. Other: The downstairs cloakroom has wc and wash basin and also has additional storage space.
