This ground floor sea-facing apartment is within the very popular and quiet Ferrera Park complex, with beautiful views of the sea within a picturesque bay. There is a communal swimming pool, and direct access to the sea within this small and friendly complex. There are two beaches within a 3 minute walk of the apartment. Many shops, restaurants and other facilities are within a couple of minutes walk. Cala d'Or centre is a 15 minute leisurely stroll away. The apartment is spacious, well equipped, and benefits from a large patio overlooking the sea. Direct from the patio there is access to the pool, sunbathing and the sea. There are many beaches within reach on foot, by tourist land-train, or by car for some further afield. Other nearby facilities include golf at the excellent Val d'Or golf club (15 minute drive), and many island attractions including the famous Caves of Drach (25 minute drive). We holiday here with a young family and can make many recommendations to benefit your visit.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is equipped with air-conditioning in the lounge and master bedroom. The other two bedrooms are equipped with fans. The air-conditioning can perform either a cooling or a heating function. The apartment is on the ground floor and includes one parking space in the complex parking area. The apartment is suitable for children. Requests for cots, highchairs and other requirements can be met where required - and we can recommend a local company who hire good quality equipment. Ferrera Park has a private car park available for the use of guests. Outside: Ferrera Park is a highly sought after complex for holiday rentals in this area, and is a very good quality location in all respects. The apartment itself has a large patio with table and chairs, and a small grass area on the boundary. The gardens in the complex are private and very well maintained. The communal swimming pool is for the use of guests staying within the complex. It has shallow and deep ends. It is a relatively small pool of approximately 18 metres by 8 metres at its widest. The pool is surrounded by a paved area for sunbathing and, if required, observation of your children. There is direct access to the sea with ladders from the rock bay and sunbathing areas incorporated on the outcrop. The beaches in the bay is within a short walk or swim! Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen included. The apartment will be cleaned for arrival followed by a weekly clean of the apartment and change of towels/linen. Other: Dining area with table and six chairs. Sideboard.

A fabulous, smart apartment in a gorgeous location overlooking the Cala.

Everything about this booking experience and holiday was perfect. The owners description and helpful advise prior to going was accurate and informative and we felt their information was invaluable for first time visitors!

The apartment is just brilliant, simply furnished with everything you need plus very comfortable beds! Its location is quiet and yet within minutes walk from shops and restaurants. Our 11 and 9 year olds, who are mad keen on swimming and snorkelling just took themselves down the steps and into the sea for hours and hours!

We explored lots of the island, there is just too much to do in a week but we hope to return one day to this lovely spot.

Lovely location in a fully equipped Villa. Highly recommended.

Just returned from Cala Ferrara Park , Easter 2017.

The ground floor villa is spacious and fully equipped in a tranquil location.

There is everything you could need here, full oven and hob, every utensil you could need and a large fridge with more than adequate freezer compartment.

Additionally there are buckets and spades etc for young children along with board games and books.

The beds are comfortable with loads of starage space.

The pool on site is a little small but we used the one on the complex next door which has 2 large pools right on the beach.

There is a private terrace area with table and chairs, great for relaxing at night.

Piror to going the owners answered any e-mail queries proptly.

I would highly recomend this villa/appartment.

Very convenient unit with great lay-out, wonderful terrace, steps from rocks, sunning and swimming platforms. Very helpful descriptions, instructions and suggestions provided. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

Why Katherine Keast chose Cala Ferrera

I have been holidaying in Cala d'or since I was little, and we've stayed in many places including Ferrera Park. Friends of the family then purchased an apartment in Ferrera Park and I've stayed there often. I fell in love with the view over the bay, and the area became a 2nd home to me. When I had my own young family we looked for a location to purchase a holiday property, and although we considered different countries and locations, we quickly came back to Ferrera Park specifically. The setting is unique. The location is stunning.

What makes this apartment unique

The main benefits of our apartment are the view, the proximity to the sea and the beach and the convenience of the location to Cala Ferrera and to Cala d'or.

The sea is just 100 paces from the apartment, where you can enter and exit with steps attached to the rock bay. The beach in the bay is less than 5 minutes walk away - 200 metres if you swim to it! There are numerous other local beaches within easy reach. Other local beaches include Cala Azul, Cala Esmeralda, Cala Gran, Cala d’Or, Cala des Pou (known locally as Es Forti) and Cala Egos. A short drive away (10 minutes) is Cala Mondrago, and Cala Sa Nau, both popular with the locals.


The airport in Mallorca is Palma Airport. It is a journey of approximately 50 mins to the apartment in Cala Ferrera. A standard taxi would cost in the region of 60 Euros.


The apartment is within Cala Ferrera. The nearest shop is 2 minutes away from the apartment along the road. This is the beginning of the shops, restaurants and children's play areas contained within Cala Ferrera. There is everything you need in the way of typical facilities within a short walk. Cala d'Or, the main town is a 15 leisurely stroll away from the apartment.

Further Details:

There is a cashpoint at the local supermarket. Medical services are also within a 2 or 3 minute walk. There are many local shops and restaurants, children's play area, cashpoints, internet hot-spots within easy reach of the apartment. At the local supermarket there is a stop for the local tourist mini-train which tours the local area. There is a marina at Cala d'Or which is well worth a visit for great restaurants and wandering the marina admiring the boats.

Changeover Day:
The apartment can be accessed from 2pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.
