Penthouse Apartment 5 minutes walk to Burriana Beach,15 Min Walk to town centre and the Balconde Europa

With a 5 minute walk down to Burriana Beach and the restaurants on the sand, Valparaiso is a great place to enjoy Nerja and the lovely places nearby. You can see from the pictures the views of the mountains behind the apartment and the sea views and people return year after year to this friendly, airy and originally decorated apartment.

This Valparaiso penthouse has probably one of the best terraces in Nerja. It wraps

around the apartment and has several lovely seating areas.

There is Air con and Uk TV and Wi Fi

The living room is quite unique in its wonderful Andulusian coloured decoration with comfortable modern furniture. This is a home from home and well maintained as a much loved home. The main bedroom has it's own balcony, wonderful views and lots of storage.

The second bedroom has two beds and ample storage too

There is a bath with a combined shower.

The kitchen has a view into the living area and is light and airy- with every thing you need for preparing snacks or a full meal

The property is registered regarding the new law on Holiday Lettings in Andulusia which came into effect on May 11th 2016

We are now retired and bought Valparaiso about 12 years ago.

It has been a wonderful place for family and our lovely guests to visit and enjoy.

We live in Surrey, with 3 rescue dogs. Keith is Welsh and a keen supporter of London Welsh Rugby and loves his cricket.

Excellent!

This apartment is excellent! The terrace is amazing, with great views and plenty of sun beds and tables to eat outside. Everything we needed for our stay could be found in the apartment. It was clean and well equipped allowing a relaxing stay. We stayed in May and it was very quiet and tranquil. We were the only people by the pool! . The location is great. It's up a hill from Burriana beach, but only takes a few minutes, nothing to put you off staying here. Deb and Keith were really helpful and sent us lots of information about bars and restaurants etc. they made the booking process so easy. I would highly recommend this apartment, indeed I already have to family and friends!

Special interest holidays:

We have contacts with walking trip organisers and easily arranged tours can be booked with agents in the town. Trips to Granada and the Alhambra - a must. A day trip to Gibraltar and very nearby are the amazing Nerja Caves.

On Thursdays you can get the local bus from the bus station to go to the market in Frigiliana, one of the white mountain towns, and the Nerja market is held on a Tuesday.

Coast/Beach:

5 minute walk down to Burriana Beach and the restaurants on the sand.

Nerja has several beaches, Burriana being the biggest. There's a lovely drive to La Herrudura via the beautiful National Park coastal road, or to get there faster, use the new motorway extension, which will one day go all the way to Granada. It is very different to Nerja and with some great restaurants on the beach.

We love the little restaurants on the sand - just before Torrox Pueblo - a few minutes drive out of Nerja.

Travel:

Malaga airport is 6 kms from Malaga city and 50km (45 miles to Nerja, mainly down the motorway by car) and a very straightforward journey to Nerja. On leaving the airport keep in the right hand lane and take the E340 towards Motril, which brings you to the Nerja exit, from there we will supply easy directions on how to find Valparaiso.

A car will certainly enhance your visit to Nerja, but it is not essential to enjoy your holiday.

Distances:

15 minute walk to Nerja centre and Burriana beach is a few minutes walk down a pretty hill, which is why our views are so stunning. We are a 10 minute walk, 3 minutes by car, to a good national chain supermarket and a few minutes walk away at Burriana is also a local supermarket, well stocked and its here where you'll find numerous restaurants and bars - none of which ever seem to attract noisy behaviour and are frequented by the Spanish as much as visitors to Nerja.

Further Details:

In central Nerja, there are many banks and cash points and excellent shops. The town is unspoilt and the local people and businesses have prospered through tourism, but still retain their friendly manner and warm welcome. The Balcon is at the heart of the town and ideal for a drink and a stroll and great way to see life in Nerja go by.

People tend to come back to Nerja, year after year, especially as the climate is ideal for a long winter break.

Payment may be in sterling or in euros.
A booking form is available on request and a 25% deposit is required to secure a booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before departure.
A £50 returnable deposit will be charged against key return and breakages.
Discounts may be available for bookings over 2 weeks and daily rates are on application, with linen and towels charged separately.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds for up to 4 people.

Access on arrival at apartment is from 2pm onwards and on departure guests are politely asked to vacate by 10am - We will try to be flexible where there is not a follow on booking.

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: Ideal for a young family, the terrace is quite safe and the second pool is a paddling pool. Within the development are many Spanish residents, the area is very attractive and residential with a mixture of mature villas and sensitively developed urbanisations. Although the beach, bars and restaurants are 5 minutes walk away they do not spoil the tranquility of the area. Outside: There are lovely mature gardens around the pool area and most of the year beautiful flowers. Most of your leisure time will probably be on the terrace, where there are lounger chairs, table and chairs for four and a sun canopy. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are included and changed once a week - apart from long term lets, where tenants can handle their own linen from our linen store or pay a fee for additional changes.
