This modern and luxuriously furnished three bedroom villa on a level plot is delightfully located within a secure gated, peaceful, small complex, with both private pool and communal pool. Spa/Gym 2 mins away. 5 mins drive to Calpe's blue beaches, an array of bars, restaurants and shops and 15 minutes to the cosmopolitan port Moreira. A 4 min drive to the unspoilt beach La Fustera. For water sport lovers Les Basetes diving and water sports a few minutes drive away. Excellently situated for cycling enthusiasts. The accommodation has an open plan, spacious deluxe lounge and dining area, as well equipped kitchen, three double bedrooms. The master bedroom has an en-suite (en-suit new 2018) and sun terraces with great views. Down stairs bathroom (new 2018) Outside there is a large eating area for dining and sitting in the shade, whilst you while away those hot balmy Med. evenings. There is a barbecue, extensive sun terrace, a kidney shaped alluring pool, set in a landscaped garden. Also includes air-conditioning, central heating, TV, DVD Sky and Wi-Fi available. Parking for 2 vehicles.

We are a family of four from North Yorkshire. We have owned the villa from new since 1995.

Why Michelle Crowther chose Calpe

When we bought the villa we had no intention of hiring it out, therefore furnished it accordingly. We have two children who now like to stay at home during the summer holidays to socialise with their friends. We decided rather than leave it empty, we would hiring it the villa out so other families can enjoy it too.

What makes this villa unique

We love the villa because it is private, yet not too secluded. It is home from home for us with the benefit of the sun. The villa is on a small quiet complex allowing us to socialise if we choose or alternatively have quality family time. We have never grown board as this region has an abundance diversity, tradition to contemporary, al-a carte to basic cuisine, high activities to relaxation, sociable to escapism, culture to sun sea and sand. These are just an example of why our family and friends have so many fabulous memories of spending time year on year here.

Notes on accommodation: The villa has air-conditioning in all main rooms, it is fully central heated for winter lettings. The property is suitable for children as there are ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms, cot an highchairs available to hire on request. The large garden is completely walled. Wi-Fi is available at no extra cost, sky is available. Outside: Level plot delightfully located within a secure gated, peaceful, small complex, with both private pool and communal pool. Large sun terrace area for dining and sitting in the shade, whilst you while away those hot balmy Med evenings. There is a barbecue, extensive sun terrace, a kidney shaped alluring pool, set in a landscaped garden. Parking for 2 vehicles. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen provided - please supply your own beach towels. A Clean prior to and after your stay is included. Extra charge if you require any cleaning or linen laundering during stay. Please note there is a washer for bedding and towel laundering. Other: Sun terrace for alfresco dining with dining table seating 6. Outdoor shower area.

Great villa in a lovely location

This was our second visit to the villa within eight months. The layout and the location worked really well for us and our two children (aged 1 and 2 1/2) and the facilities at the villa catered for pretty much everything we needed whilst on holiday. The drive from Alicante airport is straightforward and once you arrive, there are plenty of things to do and explore in the local area - all within a 15-20 minute drive. The closest beach is only a five minute trip and is well worth a visit. Calpe is also only five minutes away and is a great place to explore with a whole variety of things to do, which will offer something for almost everyone. The villa itself is in a very small gated complex and the surrounding area is wonderfully quiet. The balcony from the upstairs bedroom offers views down to Calpe and the sea beyond - a great place to enjoy a 'sundowner' once the kids have gone to bed! We would have no hesitation recommending this villa to family and friends.

Great location and well appointed villa.

Very fortunate to get such a good week of weather so late in the year. The villa had everything we needed (although we couldn't get the washing machine to work) and was a really comfortable base from which to explore the nearby towns and coast.

Would definitely consider staying again when we next visit the area.

Stunning Villa - Fully Recommended

Our family of four stayed in this Villa for a couple of weeks and had a great time. We couldn't fault its location, cleanliness, size with exceptional overall quality. The pool was great and very suitable for kids to have a play.

Michelle the owner was always available to answer any queries in the lead up to and during our stay.

I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a nice, quiet family holiday with plenty of restaurants nearby.

Great villa for a family holiday

The villa lived up to our expectations, we enjoyed a happy relaxing 2 week break. This is a well equipped holiday home and our 3 children (15, 13 & 10yrs) loved both of the pools. The local shops and bars were great. We loved exploring the beaches and the old town in Calpe and the rest of the Costa Blanca. The cycle mad member of our group managed over 450km on the great bike he hire from the shop the villa owners recommended. The information provided by the owners was really helpful and informative. We would love to come back again in the near future.

Peaceful little gem in a good location

Loved it , villa had everything we needed, very clean and well kept, and it was so quiet , a little bit away from the noisy town but close enough for the shops, car recommended. Great customer service from the owner, made our holiday along with the perfect weather, will certainly consider booking again

A great holiday villa

Very nice place with everything you could want in a holiday villa. Lovely area and easy to get around by car. Calpe is 10 minutes drive with numerous restaurants and the beach. Javea, Denia and Altea are all a short drive away and worth a visit. Michelle was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish.

Gran Sol is located between Calpe (approx. 4km) Long stretches of sandy golden sandy beaches it offers a wide range of amenities for a wide range of tastes coupled with a strong sense of tradition. Calpe’s ‘old town’ is a perfect place to experience true Spain, the stylish town of Moraira (approx. 10kms) with its beautiful marina, shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants, Altea’s (approx. 16kms), the ‘old town’ is defiantly a must visit with its bustling streets filled with lovely boutiques, bars and restaurants. Set up high above the town you can access stunning views from the old town square, watch street entertainer and the world go by whilst sampling the cuisine on offer or maybe just resting for refreshments. This region also offers over 218 Kms of coastline with plenty of soft sand beaches to choose from. It is not just the array of coast line which makes this area stunning, it's the mountains that overlook it. Alicante is known as the second most mountainous province in Spain. For those who love the challenge of a mountain trek there are plenty to choose. There is an array of well-signed paths trek available to choose a route of which to explore. . For the young and the young at heart there are a selection of theme parks and wildlife parks. Terra Mitica Theme Park, Mundomar Marine animal park and Aqualandia water park (approx. 31km), For the sightseers Quadalest (medieval fort village) set high in the mountains (approx. 34km), drop off at the magical Algar waterfalls with its spectacular sights. An ideal way to pass a few hours exploring the clear waterfalls and natural pools. The highly cultural Valencia city (approx. 127km) crammed with culture, hustle and bustle tradition and modern architecture another one to put on your list of places to visit.


Within the Gran Sol area, a 5 minutes’ drive to Calpe's blue beaches, An array of bars, restaurants and shops and 15 minutes from the cosmopolitan port Moraira. A 15 minute walk to the unspoilt beach La Fustera with its inviting beach bar and restaurant open all year round. Les Basetes diving and water sports is a few minutes’ drive.


The nearest airports are Alicante (81 kms/50 mins) and Valencia (138kms/90mins). There are many sites available for car hire. One site is all-inclusive-car-hire.

Further Details:

There are a few restaurants and bars within walking distance from the villa. However, a wider diverse selection of restaurants can be found in Calpe, which is only a five-minute drive away where you will find the ‘old town’, still with its original church, and traditional style, cobbled streets and Castilian street lamps, many of the Spanish eat in this area. The less traditional part of Calpe offers to a wide range of popular cuisine along with the harbour the offers numerous specialist fish restaurants. There are also an array of selection of bars and restaurants running adjacent to the beaches. Calpe holds a street market each Saturday which sells everything from fresh produce to clothes and leather goods.

Booking Notes:
Prices may be subject to change at the owners discretion. A 25% deposit is required with your booking and the balance is payable 8 weeks before the holiday commences. Wi-Fi optional, should this service be required there is a charge of £30 for 7 days use or £40 for 14 days use. There is also a £250 security/damage/breakage deposit bond payable with the balance, which is refundable after the end of the holiday.

Changeover Day:
Saturday is changeover day. Villa normally vacated by 10am on the day, normally not accommodated before 4pm, unless agreed on booking. The charge for late/early arrivals paid on arrival 25 Euros between 20:00 and 24:00 and 50 euros 24:00 and 8:00.

Notes on prices: If you require cleaning or laundering during your stay there will be an extra charge. Please enquire if this is of interest.
