Apartment in Cala Egos, Nr. Cala D'Or, Mallorca, Balearic Islands - Communal Pool + Island Bar

'Bella Luna' is a beautiful complex in Cala Egos, close to Cala D'Or. The apartment is a 2 minute walk into Cala Egos centre which has many shops and restaurants and a 10 minute stroll to the fantastic Cala D'Or marina which has more restaurants. The complex has superb facilities, including a large, waterfall pool with ample sunbeds and parasols. There is a pool island bar, tennis and volleyball courts. The apartment is fully air-conditioned and has English 'freeview' satellite TV. There are two large terrace areas; one for alfresco eating - which can be enclosed by glass patio doors for cooler evenings, the other is a great sunbathing area with four sunbeds and a parasol for shade. The apartment has a large grassed garden area with views over the landscaped communal gardens.

Why Adrian/Rachael chose Migjorn Region

The location was perfect - near 2 beaches, near Cala D'Or harbour, and it has one of the biggest island pools in the area. The gardens are well maintained, and are in the central area, as the pool is next to the apartment, saving on the noise ! The security around the complex is good too, meaning you feel safe with your children.

What makes this apartment unique

The property is a ground floor apartment so has a garden to play in. It has 2 bedrooms - 1 queen double bed with en-suite bath, shower, toilet and twin sinks, and another with twin beds. There is a separate shower room with toilet and sink too. One of the best bits, is the dining area, which is a fully, glass enclosed patio area, that you can close or open as required. The pool is not in the middle of the complex like most others, so you benefit from less noise! It is one of the biggest in the area, with a bar island in the middle. 2 beaches are less than 10 mins walk away too. We love it.

The Cala D'Or area has in total 7 beach coves, there are two within 5 minutes walk of the complex. Both are sandy, sheltered and have bars and toilets. All beaches are safe for children and swimming. The beautiful nearby Cala Mondrago beaches (National Park) is a 10 minute drive and has beach bars, toilets, picnic and children's play area. Sunbeds, canopies and pedaloes can be hired. This can be reached by the local mini train.


The complex is a 45 minute drive from Palma airport. A taxi from the airport is approx 70 euros. Car hire is also available at the airport. We can recommend companies for those wishing to pre-book their hire cars. Private taxi pick-ups can be arranged for you. A car hire company is a 2 minute walk away for those wishing to hire while at the apartment. A supermarket is only 2 minutes walk also.


The apartment is a few minutes walk into Cala Egos. Cala D'Or Marina is a 10 minute stroll. The nearby town of Cala D'Or is a 5 minute drive and can be reached by the local mini train. The market town of Santanyi is a 15 minute drive. Palma city centre is approx 1 hour away.

Mallorca offers many exciting trips for the whole family, from the two great water parks, American themed park, the aquarium, the Caves of Drach, and evening shows such as Sonamar, Es Fogero and the famous pirate show. Boat trips and boat hire is also available. We can arrange all these for you.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is on the ground floor and has easy access. It is a no smoking property, but smoking on the outside terrace is permitted. DVD films, CD's,books, beach parasol, beach/pool toys are available within the apartment. A travel cot and highchair can be supplied for a small charge and a range of other equipment to include pushchairs, wheelchairs, mobility scooters can be rented locally. These can all be pre-ordered and paid for on arrival. Outside: The complex has a beautiful large swimming pool with a waterfall feature. There are free sunbeds and parasols provided. There is an island pool bar, serving drinks, snacks, ice creams and more. Alongside the pool is a BBQ area, tennis and raquetball courts. The apartment comes with a parking space. The complex can only be entered through security gates, which give parents peace of mind. Utility Room: Contains washing machine, dishwasher, iron + board, brush, mop and bucket. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bedlinen and 2 sets of bath towels are included. For rentals of 14 nights there will be a free intermediate change of all linen/towels. For rentals between 7-14 nights, a change of linen/towels can be provided for a charge of £30. Other: The living room leads to an outside eating area which can be enclosed with a frameless glass screen. There are 4 sunbeds and a sun canopy. A large wall fixed clothes airer and a BBQ. Wifi is available on the complex at a small charge.

First class booking process!!!!

Unfortunately due to personal reasons we were unable to go to the apartment booked for the end of this month, but felt very strongly that I wanted to inform you all that the booking process and interaction from the wonderful Adrian, has been seamless from start to cancelling. First class service, stunning apartment in an amazing area, and close to all amenities. Book up soon guys because as soon as our situation changes we will be doing exactly that!! Best family holiday ever!

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Bella Luna. The apartment was well equipped, comfortable and the garden was perfect for our boys to play in. The pool was huge and wonderful for swimming, playing ball etc The grounds were beautifully kept and quiet in the evenings. Highly recommend for families

Lovely apartment with all the home comforts required and beautifully maintained. Welcome pack of food was very unexpected and greatly received, thank you. Very quiet and relaxed location within 5 minutes walk of all the bars and restaurants. Lovely beaches and marina, all well worth visiting. Highly recommended.

Great apartment - ideal location

Our 2nd stay in this lovely apartment. Everything in the apartment you could ever wish for. There is a large outside sun terrace and garden area for sunbathing and dining. A very large pool area with bar. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping on your doorstep at Cala Egos. The beautiful fishing village of Porto Petro is a 5 minute taxi ride. Beaches on your doorstep too, as well as Cala D'Or Marina a short walk away. It was a smooth booking process again. Adrian was very helpful. Will be going back again in 2017.

Fantastic - just what we needed

Home from home. Easy walking distance of Cala Egos, which had all that was required, lots of restaurants to choose from. Apartment was fantastic all home comforts, even a washing machine for your beach towels. Large swimming pool, virtually exclusive use of. Dvd's & games for children, beach toys available. All in all a fantastic stay, just wish it was available again this year. If you get the chance to use it, don't pass up on the opportunity.

Perfect Appartment - Perfect Holiday

This was our first stay at Adrian and Rachel's apartment and we were absolutely delighted with it! The sun terrace and garden area are fantastic and the apartment itself was as near to flawless as possible. It is also in an ideal location close to Cala Egos, Cala D'Or and the Marina. The Bella Luna complex has a fantastic swimming pool with a Pool Bar in the centre. The booking process with Adrian was very smooth too. We can not recommend it enough. Kath and Andy.

Booking Notes:
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking plus a £100 damage deposit (refunded within 2 weeks after your return). The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your holiday. Payment accepted by bank transfer, cheque or Paypal. A reservation receipt will be issued. If you do not make the payment by the due date you will be deemed to have cancelled your holiday. Where bookings are made within the 8 week prior to your holiday, the full amount will be due at the time of reservation.
