Holiday Apartment in Stoliv, Kotor Bay, Montenegro - Easy Reach of Kotor, Tivat and Budva

Stoliv is a fishing village set in the magnificent Boka Kotorska, Southern Europe's largest fjord. This first floor apartment is first line to the sea with breathtaking views of the bay and the medieval town of Perast. The apartment sleeps up to 4 people and features a double bedroom with fitted wardrobe, bathroom, living room and kitchenette. Kotor (9km) is an Unesco World Heritage Site in the deepest part of the fjord. In the summer months it is the focus of night-time entertainment with coffee shops, bars and restaurants. The pristine sandy beach at Plavi Horizonto (Przno) is only 15km drive, set in a beautiful olive grove and surrounded by pine forest. Further down the coast is the lively seaside town of Budva, Montenegro's main centre for tourism. Skadar Lake is also accessible by day trip. Home to many rare birds, boats can be taken from Virpazar (40km) to explore this beautiful lake with its little fishing villages and monastery islands.

Small deck chairs can be taken outside to sit on the shared punta/jetty. The beach is suitable for small children to paddle as the water is shallow and very clean in this part of the bay. Free off-street parking. Linen provided, please check with us regarding towels. Guests are expected to clear up at the end of their stay. The apartment is cleaned on changeover day.

The apartment is 20 metres to the sea in the bay of Kotor, with many small beaches and jetties available locally for sunbathing and swimming.

The apartment directly faces the fantastically preserved old town of Perast.

Medieval Kotor is a Unesco World Heritage Site in the deepest part of the fjord, about 25 mins away by car or bus. The beautiful old town remains encircled by walls which can be viewed by climbing the path to the old fortifications, high on the mountainside above. It is also fun to wander the mazy streets which are the focus of night-time entertainment with many coffee shops, bars and restaurants.

Budva (25km) is a popular holiday spot with a lovely old town and several large beaches can be found at Mogren and Becici. Petrovac (40km) has an extremely attractive seafront.

Skadar Lake is also accessible by day trip. Beautifully encircled on three sides by Montenegrin mountains, with the Albanian border on the east side, it is home to many rare birds. Boats can be taken from Virpazar (40km) to explore the tiny fishing villages and monastery islands. The Durmitor National Park also offers hiking, climbing and skiing.

Easy access from the airports of Tivat (20 mins) and Dubrovnik (90 mins). Car hire recommended.
