New and luxurious very large 3 bedroom apartment to sleep 6 people. Fully air-conditioned and very well equipped and tastefully furnished with excellent quality furniture throughout. The apartment is in a quiet area, but is only a 5 min walk to the shops, restaurants, bars etc. It is a 25 min ride from Faro airport by transfer which can be arranged. It has a very large lounge and kitchen with fridge/freezer, washing machine and 3 bathrooms. It has 4 balconies; 3 facing the sea, the other overlooking the swimming pools/snack bar. There is air-conditioning in all bedrooms and the lounge. It has a TV, DVD and a built-in music system to each bedroom and the lounge. There is a built-in barbeque on the large balcony with table and chairs. Good quality bedding/towels throughout. Tiled floors throughout, thus keeping it cool. This apartment has been described by estate agents over there as, 'truly unique' and it certainly is!

It has fibre optic wifi which has speeds up to 100 Mbps and English tv channels.

No need to 'reserve' sun beds as I have my own on the poolside.

I bought my penthouse after years of looking for the right property for me. It was built by one of the best builders in the Algarve and as such the finish is superb. I bought in this area for various reasons including the spectacular views from the three balconies, the privacy this apartment commands, the quietness and friendliness of the locals and neighbours and also because it is a five minute walk to the top of the strip and the supermarket.

Notes on accommodation: This apartment is situated on floor 8, although on the poolside it is only 3 levels above ground floor, so may not be suitable for very young children-there are wall bars/high walls surrounding each balcony. The apartment has air-conditioning in all three bedrooms and the lounge and each unit is fully remote controlled and very quiet! Outside: Two swimming pools for residents use only which are cleaned regularly. One large pool approx 20m x 40m and one circular children's pool approx diameter 5m. 6 privately owned reclining sun loungers for poolside use. Privately owned snack bar is fully operational and British run-serving food and drink six days per week from April til October with very reasonable prices and a good selection. Pool shower. Grassy area and large area for sunbathing. Privately owned built-in barbeque on sea view facing balcony. 6 chairs for use on balcony with drinks table. Utility Room: Not available to guests. Hoover, airer, pegs, mops, buckets, iron and ironing board available in kitchen. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels and linen included except beach/pool towels. If staying in excess of 1 week, there will be a change of towels and linen. This can also be arranged with prior agreement for shorter stays at an extra cost. This also applies to extra maid service.

A lovely property.

The apartment is very well equipped & furnished to a good standard. The pool area is well maintained & ideal for families, buses to town are frequent & the bus stop is a two minute walk away. the strip is approx a ten minute walk. Overall we were highly satisfied with the accommodation & its location.The area is quiet & away from the hustle & bustle of the strip, but close enough to walk to. Gill is a lovely lady & very helpful.

Location

Coast/Beach:

Surrounded by beautiful sandy beaches which are from a 15 min walk. 5 minutes if you hire a car, which can be arranged at a special rate with collection and drop off at the airport.

Travel:

From Faro airport it is approx. 25 mins ride in a taxi, hire car or airport transfer.

Distances:

20 min walk to Albufeira Old Town, the main town, but only 5 min walk to the strip with all it's bars, shops and restaurants. Taxi rank also at top of strip (5 mins walk from apartment). Bus stop 2 mins from apartment and all pick ups for waterparks/Zoomarine 2 mins walk. Small supermarket 2 mins walk and larger supermarket 5 mins walk.

Check in times can be flexible depending on other clients. Check out times are no later than 11.00 unless pre agreement with owner.

Refundable Damage Deposit £200

Booking Notes:
Booking form to be completed with a 50% non-refundable deposit at time of booking. Copy of flight details with names of passengers. Balance to be payable 4 weeks prior to arrival. Confirmation will be given at each stage on clearance of funds into my account. A £200 deposit will be required (due to damage last year); this will be in the form of a cheque and will not be cashed providing the apartment is left in the same condition that you found it on arrival.

Changeover Day:
Flexible, depending on other bookings.

50% of total stay amount to confirm the booking. Balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival. Cheque or bank transfer.
