Villa Flora is a beautiful, three bedroom villa with private pool, landscaped gardens and sea views. Located in the quiet, prestigious Monte Lemos area of Praia da Luz. The villa is fully equipped and furnished both internally and externally. 5 minute drive to shops, restaurants and beach. Choice of golf courses.

This property is fully licensed / registered with the Tourist Board of Portugal (Licence number 8628/AL) and is compliant with Portuguese legislation relating to holiday property rentals.

  • Description of sleeping capacity: Sleeps 6 (3 Bedrooms) Notes on bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has a double bed, en-suite bathroom and terrace overlooking the garden. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have twin beds, shared bathroom and glass doors leading to terraces and the pool. All have built in wardrobes.

Notes on accommodation: A wood burning, stove and central heating are available for winter rentals. There is a ceiling fan in the lounge and a number of individual fans for bedroom use. Insect screens have been fitted to all windows and sliding doors. Outside: The villa is situated on a good sized plot. There are a number of sunny and shaded areas to sit or walk in the garden. Sun loungers with mattresses can be moved to favourite spots. Parasols are also available to provide additional shade. There are lawned areas at the front and side of the property. A large pergola is attached to one side of the villa and connects the side lawn area with the rear of the property. The private swimming pool is 10 by 5 metres. There are sea views from the pool and upstairs terraces. A BBQ is available for clients to use. A large car port provides shade for vehicles. Utility Room: A downstairs utility room has a washing machine, ironing board and iron. A clothes line with pegs is provided in the garden. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Fresh linen and towels are provided at the beginning of each let. A full clean of the villa and change of bedlinen/towels occurs weekly.

Luz beach is a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the villa. A range of water sport activities are available from Luz beach. The are a variety of other beaches within short drives from Luz eg Burgau, Salema, Lagos, Porto de Mos, Meia Praia. Further away are beaches at Sagres and along the west coast. Here you will find some of the best surfing in Europe.


The nearest airport is at Faro. This is about an hours drive along an excellent, quiet motorway. Lisbon airport is an accessible three hours drive north along the quiet motorway network. Car hire is recommended.


Luz is 6kms from Lagos. Burgau and Salema are beautiful small fishing villages with quiet, safe beaches further west along the south coast. Sagres and Cape Vincent are worth a visit. There are many interesting villages along the west coast and inland. The mountains of Monchique provide a contrast to the coast and opportunities for interesting walks. There is a bus service from Lagos to Burgau via Luz. Taxis are available in Luz and Lagos. There are railway and bus stations in Lagos.

Further Details:

Luz has a variety of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, banks and other services including a 24 hour (English speaking) medical centre and a number of dentists. There are boat trips from Lagos and a variety of specialist activities eg mountain biking, microlite flights etc.
