Modern and very well presented house with garden and patio to rear, equipped with furniture, loungers and BBQ to enable you to enjoy relaxing and eating outdoors. The boulangerie is within easy walking distance as are several small eateries including a small cosy creperie and Moulerie. Beautiful beach within easy walking distance with numerous other sandy beaches within a short drive or cycle ride. There are also lots of other villages and towns within easy distance. Sable Do'r is situated very close by with a good choice of restaurants to suit all budgets, it also has a fabulous sandy beach. Superb coastal walking is nearby and cyclists are also spoiled for choice with numerous quiet country lanes and tracks to explore. Most days you can find a French market fairly nearby and a large supermarket within a short drive. Other days out can be enjoyed in the beautiful medieval town of Dinan with cobbled streets, interesting architecture, port and array of shops and places to eat.
We bought the holiday home after many years of self catering with 3 young children who are all grown up. We often found it difficult to rent a property that was well equipped, clean/well presented, comfortably furnished and in a good location. We believe our house offers the ideal combination for couples or families who want to avoid, poorly located, draughty and sparsely furnished properties. We found that old French cottages often don't live up to the idyllic picture on the advert. The scenery and beaches are stunning and there is plenty to do and see nearby. The area never gets too busy so it offers the perfect combination of having beautiful beaches, interesting towns/villages and a good choice of places to eat whilst avoiding the crowds and traffic jams that can create holiday hell!
Superb for walking, cycling and water sports.
Very close to Ferry port at St Malo, so ideal for avoiding long drives with grumpy kids (or grumpy adults!).
We have been very particular to furnish and equip the property to a very good standard. Its not isolated and there is plenty to do and see without driving a long way. For those with young children who may need to spend more time at the house it offers the comfort of a decent garden and accommodation ideal for relaxing.
