Apartment in Tignes, Val Claret, Rhone-Alps, France - Excellent Location Close to Pistes and Shops

Situated in Tignes, Val Claret, the apartment block is 3-4 minutes walk from the piste, or alternatively, there is a bus stop directly outside the apartment block which will take you to the slopes at either the Grande Motte or Tignes Le Lac. There is also a transcord across the road which will take you to the slopes at the Grande Motte. L'Ecrin des Neiges benefits from an excellent position close to pistes and shops.

I am Kate Eleftheriou and I have been advertising our villa in Cyprus with Owners Direct since 2009. We also have an apartment in the French Alps that we rent during the ski season.

Why Kate Eleftheriou chose Val Claret

The reason we bought this apartment was we have skied in Tignes/Val d'Isere for many years and it is probably our most favourite resort. It offers a wide variety of slopes for all levels of skier and snowboarder and you are also quite close to the nightlife - if you have enough energy after spending all day on the piste! Most bars offer happy hour at one time or another and you are never too far from a bar or a restaurant where you can sample the great alpine food.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment block offers an aquatonic suite, gym, sauna and Turkish baths. You can also have treatments like massages and facials if you so wish. A perfect end to a day on the slopes. There are also a couple of restaurants in the complex, underground parking for 1 vehicle and a heated ski locker.

Notes on accommodation: Beds are made on arrival and towels, 1 x cleaning kit and end of stay cleaning (except kitchen area) is included. There is an indoor Aquatonic centre with spectacular views, fitness centre and a sauna and steam room next to the residence (all at supplement payable to reception in resort). Underground car parking is approx 56 Euros per week, subject to availability and is to be requested at time of booking. Mixed couples and families only. No pets. No smoking. Extras: travel cot, pushchair, baby high chair can be provided on request. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Price of apartment includes beds made on arrival, end of stay cleaning (except the kitchen area), linen and towels.

Great apartment close to everything.

Well-appointed apartments in convenient location close to the slopes – ski locker entrance is beside the bus stop for the one minute and frequent service to Grand Motte or 5 minute trip to Le Lac. Short walk to centre for shops, bars restaurants and bakery.

By air: Lyon or Geneva Airport - approx. 3hrs 30mins transfer.

By train: Bourg St. Maurice station. Bus or taxi to resort.

By car: Autoroute to Albertville. N90 (dual carriageway) to moutiers. D902 to Bourg. St. Maurice.

Distances:

Nearest villages are Tignes Le Lac, Tignes Le Lavachet, Tignes Les Brevieres, Val D'Isere.

Further Details:

Excellent ski and apres ski facilities and a lively shopping centre and nightlife. The apartment is close to the local shops and 200m from the nearest ski slopes. There is a bus stop directly outside the apartment. Spectacular views of the golf course (in summer) and the lac de Tignes.
