Spacious Ground Floor Apartment in Armacao de Pera - Short Walk To Fabulous Beaches

This beautiful apt is very spacious and ideal for families. It is in an excellent ground floor location with a large garden area to the rear, ideal for children to run around. It is situated to the rear of the complex, away from roads and swimming pools which makes it safer for anyone with young children. Shops, restaurants, bars and 2 beaches are all within a short stroll of this apt so there is no need for car hire. Transfers can be arranged on your behalf. The apt has a large living and dining area, with 2 large sofas, 1 of which is a sofa bed, dining table and 6 chairs, TV and DVD. There is a fully-fitted kitchen with all mod cons. There are patio doors leading from the living room to the veranda which has a table and 4 chairs. There are also 4 sun loungers with mattresses for use either in the garden or pool. The decor of the apt is modern and includes all the facilities you would find at home. There is also air-con in place.

Pat & Julie - We went in March and although the weather wasn't great, we had a lovely time. The apartment is very spacious and has everything you need. We hired a car and got to see quite a few places and in the evenings enjoyed the food in the local restaurants of which there are plenty to choose from.

Jean & Mick (Wicklow, Ireland) - The apartment great for providing some privacy and welcome shade. Quiet and safe to give my little boy some freedon to play outside (2011).

Renae & Kristy (Australia) - Fabulous apartment in a great location. We really enjoyed some of the local restaurants and within walking distance too! Will definately be returning.

Derek & Fiona (Dublin) - Apartment was lovely in an ideal location, very family friendly yet quiet and relaing. The local restaurants offer great value for family eating and being able to cook for kids is always a bonus too. We walked everywhere or got a taxi.

Gorgeous appartment

we stayed in this lovely apartment in June firstly its spotless and has a fantastic wet room and separate bathroom, and has everything you need. The location is fantastic for the beach which is very close about 10 min walk there are 2 beaches near first beach on the left has all the sun loungers and activities and the second beach which you can go through a tunnel to get to is much quitter but larger.

If you didn't want to go down the pool is just around the corner and is very quiet as well. There are also sun loungers at the back of the patio which we used on the grass when we came back up from the beach as it gets sun from early morning till about 8 I think.

We did have an issue with the safe and the manager was around within half an hour of us asking questions and had it sorted pretty quickly. The walk down to the town is about 40 mins and about 20 to the local supermarket which has everything - but its a lovely walk in the evening and we got a taxi back for 5 euro. There are loads of restaurant's down there we tried a good few and had no complaints. Now if you wanted to stay local there is an English bar near but across the road from it are 2 lovely restaurants there ( also a small supermarket) which has everything and is good value ) - have the Cataplana its fab. I would def go back - also they arrange for a pick up and drop back to the airport which was great.

Besides all the local water sporting activities, such as snorkelling, sailing, surfing, deep sea fishing and others, Algarve's beaches are perfect for jogging or even for a calm and quiet walk. Cycling throughout the region is a wonderful relaxing way to see the Algarve. Fantastic castles and forts almost everywhere! Breathtaking cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean with hidden creeks. Peaceful countryside in the mountains still untouched by developers.


An 8 minute stroll to 2 of the Algarve's most beautiful blue flag beaches. Praia Nossa Senhora da Rocha and Praia Nova. 10 minute car journey to local waterpark.


Areias de Porches Resort is located in the heart of the Algarve with good access to the A22 motorway and the national road network. Faro International Airport is only 40 minutes away. Car hire available. Airport transfers can be arranged with local company.


Faro Airport 40 minute drive. Armacao de Pera 5 minute drive, lively resort. Albufeira 15 minute drive, lively resort and old fishing town. Vilamoura 25 minute drive, large marina, lively resort, golf. 5 golf courses within a 15 minute drive. Waterpark 10 minute drive. Algarve Shopping with its 22 restaurants and a myriad of designer shops and multi screen cinema 15 minute drive.

Two supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Amarcao de Pera and Albufeira both offer a wide selection of bars, restaurants, shops and entertainment. A welcome pack is included free of charge (enough to tide you over especially if you arrive late at night).
