Apartment in Kapparis, Cyprus - Beaches, Bars, Restaurants And Shops Within 5 Minute Walk

The apartment is on a lovely development close to the beaches in the coastal village of Kapparis, which is between the inland town of Paralimni and the resort of Protaras. Recently built , it is on the first floor overlooking the pool and sunbathing area. During the summer, the veranda has direct sun for most of the day and into the evening. Kapparis is an up-and-coming and picturesque area. If you want the best of both worlds - lounging on the beach or by the pool by day but with plenty of nightlife nearby when you want it, then it's definitely for you. A wonderful pool with waterfall, changing rooms and showers is on site and a selection of bars, excellent restaurants and several sandy beaches are all within easy walking distance.

Notes on accommodation: If you have any special requirements, please contact us and we will do our best to help. A comprehensive information pack containing directions to the apartment, keys and lots of general information about the area, will be sent to you once your booking has been confirmed. We can also supply a cot should you need it, for a small additional charge. Outside: On the veranda you will find a table, chairs and a great view over the pool. The pool area is tastefully landscaped with trees, flowers and shrubs, a waterfall and plenty of space for sunbathing, along with showers, changing rooms and toilets. For your peace of mind, there is also a children's pool next to the main pool, so you can keep a close eye on your kids. The apartment also has dedicated undercover parking to keep your car in the shade and cool. Lifts run from the carpark to all floors. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and bed linen are provided and the apartment will be fully prepared prior to your arrival. Please bring your own beach towels. Additional mid-let cleans with change of linen can be arranged for a small additional cost.

Great Apartment

Lovely 1 bedroom apartment on a great little complex.

We stayed for a week in May and in general the complex was very quiet.

Easy 10 minute walk down to the bars and restaurants just beware of the lack of pavements in places.

Would highly recommend this apartment as it offers all you need for 2 people and is also great value. We always hire a car in Cyprus and i think you would struggle without one in this area of the island.

Will definately return when the opportunity arises.

Wonderful property - home from home

As mentioned in previous reviews this is a delightful apartment with every home comfort you could require. It was lovely and clean with a spacious balcony overlooking the pool which was remarkably quiet most days. The bedroom and living area was very spacious and the kitchen facilities were first class.

Communications with Andy were answered promptly and the welcome pack he sent prior to our arrival was most useful. The breakage deposit was also refunded within a few days of our return home. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property and would certainly look to stay here again when we next decide to visit Kapparis. Thank you Andy

Everything in it you could possibly want. Balcony, washing machine, full cooker, fridge freezer, books, English tv, DVD's, DVD and CD player/radio, clean and comfortable, overlooking swimming pool which was cleaned regularly, near bars, bus stops, supermarkets. 10 minutes walk to beach with sunbeds, umbrellas, toilets and SUN all day long. Great relaxing holiday. Would go back tomorrow.

Wonderful apartment for a resonable price in a peceful location

It was a true treasure to find this apartment with such a close date of our trip! The apartment is located within very comfortable destination from the close by beaches, supermarkets, restaurants. The neighbourhood is very calm and peaceful. There was enough space to accomodate our family of four in the apartment. It is well equipped with everything you need for a homy stay. We are totally satisfied and happy with our choice! Thank you!

Special interest holidays:

Cyprus is fantastic for walking/cycling holidays throughout the year, the area has miles of cycle paths and bikes are very inexpensive to hire locally. Scuba Diving is widely available for those that are already qualified or wish to learn. The waters are clear and warm, with several excellent dive sites including the world famous Zenobia wreck. Horse riding is available nearby and boat fishing can be arranged from Ayia Napa Harbour.


There are a number of sandy beaches within easy walking distance, the nearest being Fireman's Cove. Follow the lovely Kapparis coastal boardwalk through Pernera towards Protaras, and you will discover plenty more excellent beaches, all with golden sand and crystal clear waters. Fig Tree Bay at Protaras is renowned for having the best beaches on the island and is only a 5 minute drive away. A 10 minute drive takes you to the more lively Nissi Beach at Aiya Napa, with its beachfront bars and DJs.


It takes approximately 40 mins easy driving from Larnaca airport or around 2 hrs from Paphos.


Pretty much everything you need is right on your doorstep in Kapparis, but if you fancy exploring a little, the lively resort of Protaras with a wide array of restaurants, nightlife and award-winning beaches is just 5 minutes away, whilst Ayia Napa with its many clubs, pubs and restaurants as well as the famous Nissi Beach and Waterpark, is a 10 minute drive. The traditional Cypriot town of Paralimni has plenty of shops and supermarkets and is a 2 mins drive and Larnaca is around 40 mins away.

Further Details:

There is a mini-supermarket located just round the corner from the apartment which stocks a good range of essential provisions and newspapers, as well as a 24hr bakery (with some excellent cakes!) nearby. This can be very useful, particularly if you are arriving in the early hours of the morning! You will also find 2 large well known supermarkets, a pharmacy etc within a 2 minute drive. There is a wide range of tavernas and restaurants in Kapparis and the surrounding area. The main street, Kennedy Avenue has a number of excellent restaurants and bars catering for all tastes, some with live entertainment. Nearby Pernera also boasts several excellent restaurants, as does Paralimni.

As well as plenty of watersports available on many of the beaches, there are a host of activities from bungee jumping, scuba diving and horse riding to boat trips and trekking in the Troodos Mountains. With its wealth of history, there are also many tours centred around the local Cypriot crafts, historical sites and ruins. Local buses run every half hour in season between Paralimni, Kapparis, Pernera, Protaras and Ayia Napa, costing only €1.50 for any distance and you can walk to the bus stop.

The prices quoted above are for the apartment per week - not per person, in UK pounds. A charge of £30 per booking is made for use of the sofabed, which is solely to cover the additional laundry. Air-conditioning is included at no extra cost.
