This fabulous, spacious air conditioned, frontline apartment is situated directly overlooking the sea and Port Adriano. It has a beautiful, large lounge complete with 42" plasma screen and two sofas with 1 being a sofa bed. The patio doors open onto a wonderful balcony with seating to appreciate second to none views to enjoy that glass of wine as the sun goes down! There are 2 beautifully appointed bedrooms, a stunning kitchen/diner and a beautiful bathroom complete with wet area. The location is a one minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach in Port Adriano.Also, a leisurely five minute walk to the fabulous Port Adriano with excellent bars and restaurants, that offer something for everybody. There are a wealth of amenities all within walking distance awaiting you. This all comes with the use of a great seafront pool and bar less than a minute away from your door!

We stayed in the apartment for 2 weeks over the summer holiday with our 2 children aged 9 and 6. The apartment and location was perfect and we are definitely going to stay again if we can book (missed last two year from being booked up!) . There is so much to do for kids and big kids ! Location

Special interest holidays:

There are a number of cycle tracks around Santa Ponsa and the area is ideal for those who enjoy walking. For the more adventurous you can do both of these through the famous Tramuntana Mountains from Andratx to Pollensa.

Coast/Beach:

The front of the apartment building has access directly onto a private road that is 2 minutes walk from the pretty beach of Port Adriano. Its sheltered position keeps the water calm and safe for children. The small village of El Toro has all amenities you need for shopping whilst the up and coming Port Adriano with its restaurants and bars is a 5 mins walk away. Sant Ponsa beach is 5 mins by car, Magaluf 7 mins, aqua park/Western World 5 minutes and Portals (celeb spotting!) 15 mins away.

Travel:

The airport at Palma (PMI) is about 20km away which is about 25 mins drive or about a 30 euro taxi ride. El Toro is well served by buses with a public bus that stops regulary outside the apartment with regular services to Santa Ponsa, Magaluf and Palma. A car is not needed but recommended if you wish to appreciate the full beauty of the island. Taxis operate regularly in the area and are inexpensive and reliable. An airport pick up and drop off service is available for a maximum of three people.

We use an English family agency in Santa Ponsa who are available throughout your stay to deal with any queries and offer any help and advise that you may need. This is our family apartment in Mallorca and will provide all home comforts

The beautiful Port Adriano is within walking distance with a lovely beach, 5* hotel, several shops and fabulous restaurants specialised in everything from local cuisine, fish and pizzas. Santa Ponsa is 5 minutes away with its golden sandy beach and holiday atmosphere, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. The fashionable "celebrity" Portal Portals has many chic restaurants and the beautiful architectural city of Palma with its cathedral and shopping malls.

Outside: Just in front of the apartment directly on the beach is a bar/restaurant area with a large pool and sunbathing ares. For a nominal fee (3 euros) residents can use these facilities (pool/bar closed November - March). The large balcony of the apartment is ideal for watching the sunset.

Lovely Apartment, Amazing Views!

We had a fantastic holiday, the views are amazing. It's a lovely apartment, clean and spacious. We enjoyed a swim in the sea, the beach is a short walk or swim away. It's a fabulous location. It's not too busy, nor is it too quiet. The bus stops are directly outside the apartments, and you can visit Santa Posa, Magaluf or Peguera for approximately 1.50 euros, they run every 30 mins. 5-10 minute walk to the Spar, bakery and several restaurants. We highly recommend the Indian restaurant and the Thia takeaway. We will definitely be returning!

Lovely apartment cracking location

El Toro was a quiet place busy at weekends at the beach our apartment had cracking views looking on to some luxury yachts etc but we spent most of our time in Santa ponsa with buses coming every 15 minutes or taxi at 6€ overall thourally enjoyed our holiday

Disappointing

Apartment had not been cleaned very well for our arrival. We pointed this out to the lady who was there and she hoovered crumbs off the sofa and dusted a table. When she left we washed the dishes and cutlery. We felt the apartment was rather shabby and very much in need of decorating. The walls were particularly bad with dirty black marks. Did not match the write up description of luxury.

The wi fi connection was practically non existent.

The view, however, from the apartment was as described and the restaurants around the port were particularly good.

We made the most of our stay but the apartment was extremely disappointing.

Owner's Response: Hi Margaret, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry you feel disappointed. We have rented the apartment out for 10 years and have never had a complaint in all that time. I'll answer your points one by one. You believe you found the apartment not up to scratch. As I have mentioned nobody has ever complained of this before. However I have mentioned your concerns to our property manager regarding this and have been assured that the standards of cleanliness in the apartment will be very high at all times. In regard the decoration of the apartment, the apartment has been decorated in a contemporary manner of all the walls being white in keeping with a front line beach apartment. As stated in the listing, It is a family apartment that is rented out and if a client before you scuffs the wall with a suitcase which can unfortunately happen it's is impossible to paint every week and we have judged that a suitcase scuff mark would not deter from the overall enjoyment of someones holiday. Obviously this is not the case this time and Its a shame you feel it would spoil your holiday. The apartment is booked in for a repaint in 3 months time to keep on top of it. The apartment does not have private internet access. It is not advertised with private Internet access. You emailed me when you are away asking about this and I did answer the question then. So I do feel a little confused as to why you are complaining about this. I did mention to you at the time that there was plenty of free wi fi access in the bar within the complex that all the guests use. I am really pleased you loved the view from the apartment and enjoyed all the stunning restaurants in the port. 80% of all the clients are returning customers who come year after year and really enjoy the apartment.

As good as the pictures suggest

From before we arrived communication with the owner was very easy and straight forward. If you are looking for quality accomodation with views to die for then look no further. All facilities youd expect are there including beach towels. By the way excellent range of glasses cutlery etc should you wish to do any cooking etc. You have access to pool in restaurant bar area. Our experience was that we wern't charged. The lovely beach is lireally only a few minutes walk from apt. There is lifeguard on duty. Water is very safe for children as no current. Bus stop is literally to front of apt block, so we had no need to hire car. Taxis are also cheap.

It is obvious owner takes great pride in her apt (not your typical tiny hotel apt) so its very comfortable and relaxing to stay in. Handy location near supermarket and bakery for daily provisions to. Tess who looks after the apartment was a pleasure to deal with to ( got tips on great group to see in local bar/restaurant) All in all I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this place for a lovely relaxing hol.

Tip .. Get up early some mornings to go for walk around El Toro really nice Spanish residential feel to area with beautiful houses and sea views.

If you feel really energetic try the walk to to Santa Ponsa

Booking Notes:
Prices shown are for the property, per week in UK pounds (we accept euros at current exchange rate) and include linen and towels. Short and long term lets are available. A 25% deposit is required to confirm a booking and final balance will be due 6 weeks before the holiday. A security deposit of £250 is required with final payment which will be fully refundable when the keys have been returned and our agents tell us there is no damage to the apartment and no excess cleaning was required.

Changeover Day:
Saturday is the preferred changeover day, but this is negotiable. On the day we ask that you arrive after 4pm and on departure leave before 10am although we try to accommodate all arrival and departure times if at all possible.
