Luxury penthouse situated in an exclusive resort with a PGA championship golf course designed by Dave Thomas. Our 2 bedroom penthouse is furnished to a high standard, has 3 terraces and a large private rooftop solarium, perfect for benefiting from the all year round sun. The apartment is ideal for families and golfers, overlooking the communal pool and landscaped gardens on one side, and views of the golf course and the Mar Menor on the other. The resort has 24 hour security, secure underground parking and is only 5 mins drive away from the long sandy beaches of the Mar Menor. The bars, restaurants and shops of Los Alcazares are only 2 mins away by car. For on site entertainment there is a charming golf clubhouse and restaurant, only 5 mins walk away. We now provide two bikes, tennis rackets and balls plus an assortment of other beach games. Full Wireless internet.

We are Nick and Julie Pearman. We are English but currently live in South West France with our golden retriever Ariana. We are sporty outdoor people whose hobbies include running, tennis, water sports and skiing.

We work very hard so that we can pursue our passion for holidays and travelling.

Why Julie Pearman chose San Javier

We love our two bedroom penthouse on the Roda Resort. We bought it after 10 years of return visits to the La Manga Club up the road where we pursued our love of tennis. Unfortunately we found that the La Manga Club lost its personal touch and had become too commercialised. We have played tennis many times since buying our apartment at the local club in Los Alcazares which has fabulous clay courts and is wonderfully welcoming. As for the Murcia area it offers us everything we are looking for in an activity holiday. We run on the promenade, pursue water sports, go on long walks in the nature reserves and play tennis! If you take some time to do some research you will also find some wonderfully authentic Spanish restaurants and entertainment!

What makes this apartment unique

Our apartment is furnished to a very high standard to a level that we ourselves look for when renting apartments. It has three terraces and a roof top solarium which means that no matter what time of day you can find sun and shade which ever you desire without leaving the apartment. It is also situated on the pedestrian only area which means no road noise.

Finally it is less than a five minute walk from the golf course and clubhouse which is a real bonus!

We had a wonderful stay at your apartment at roda golf resort. The location of your apartment was perfect, with a lovely view of the pool and gardens and it felt quite private and not overlooked. The apartment was comfortable and spacious and had a very large roof terrace plus 2 other terraces with adequate outdoor furniture. The clubhouse was a great facility to have nearby, with again lovely terraces with views across the golf course. We did not get to play tennis on this occasion, this facility is also available. We feel a car is necessary to experience the surrounding area and to get to the many wonderful beaches. We had a great week despite the mixed weather as there was so much to do and see. It all went by so fast.

Notes on accommodation: This penthouse has air-conditioning and central heating making it ideal for all year round use. Please note the apartment is non-smoking, although smoking is allowed on the terraces. There is Wifi access at the Golf Club House and there are a couple of excellent internet cafes just off the beach in Los Alcazares. Outside: The penthouse has 3 outside terraces and a rooftop solarium. The solarium is 62 sq.m. equipped with 4 sunbeds and provides complete 360 degree views of the Mar Menor, the golf course, swimming pool and gardens. All terraces have lighting for evening entertainment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen and towels are provided. The property will be cleaned before and after rental. For longer rentals additional cleaning and linen change can be arranged. Our rates are fully inclusive there are no additional charges for cleaning. Other: The rooftop solarium has 4 sunbeds, an umbrella and a further table and chairs. We have available two bikes for the use of guests on request.

Fantastic Apartment on a lovely complex!

We had a great holiday staying at Roda Golf - it's a lovely complex, which is very well maintained at all times. The apartment itself is very modern/spacious and well equipped with extras you always need eg. hair dryer, iron/board, washing machine, kitchen utilities.

Julie was very helpful throughout the whole process from the initial booking, to general enquiries, then return of deposit once we arrived home.

Anyone thinking about booking this apartment should go ahead, it's one of the nicest places we've stayed at!! :o)

Really lovely apartment

We had a fabulous holiday in Roda Golf, the apartment was beautiful, definitely like home from home. It had the added bonus of being situated in a pedestrian area which was lovely and peaceful. The apartment is in a fantastic location. Being a sun worshiper having the roof terrace was amazing! Julie was very easy to deal with and quick to respond to emails. I would recommend this apartment if you are thinking of having a holiday in Roda Golf Resort. I would definitely book this apartment in the future. K Wood, July/August 2017

Excellent location

The property is very nice. Great air con that goes all around the apartment, very handy. The en suite was handy as we took our 15yr old son and 20yr old daughter and they basically had their own bathroom. The best for us were the 4 sun beds on the roof terrace and not having to get up early to go down and put your towels on others to 'reserve' very nice.

Overall we had a great time, great apartment and if we go back to the area again we would like to stay in the same if possible.

An extremely comfortable and well equipped apartment. A home from home, making our stay a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. The appartment was spacious with the added bonus of a fantastic solarium with breathtaking views! The shutters at night made us feel very safe and kept the appartment nice and cool!

Lovely penthouse appartment

The appartment was very clean & tidy, a well stocked kitchen with plenty of crockery, cutlery & utensils. Bedrooms were light & airy with comfortable beds & crisp clean bed linen. Overall it was a real pleasure to stay there.

Lovely apartment great views

Lovely bright, clean and spacious apartment. Well maintained complex.

Short drive to gorgeous sandy beach (Los Naranjos) which was never really very busy even in August. Sea was wonderfully warm and calm. Not too far to La Manga with more beaches and beach clubs. Would not hesitate to recommend. Julie replied promptly to any queries and was very helpful, even during our stay. Lovely selection of restaurants 5 mins away - would recommend gourmet wine bar in Los Alcazares, excellent choice reasonably priced.

Roda Golf is just 5 mins drive from the blue flag beaches of Los Alcazares. The sandy beaches and the calm shallow water of the Mar Menor make this ideal for families. For the fitness enthusiast, sailing, canoeing, and kiteboarding are all on offer in the water. On dry land a 5km esplanade runs the length of the beach and is perfect for walking, running and cycling.

Roda Golf also has its own exclusive beach club with pool, restaurant and direct beach access.


San Javier (Murcia) airport is a 10 mins drive from Roda Golf, and is serviced by many airlines includind Easyjet, Ryan Air and BMI. Alicante airport is also easily accessed and is around 45 mins drive.

Car hire is recommended to make the best of viewing the local area.


Los Alcazares is a 5 mins drive (beach, bars, restaurants, shops).

Historic cities of Cartegna and Murcia - 25 mins.

La Manga Club - 25 mins.

The Costs Calida benefits from 300 days of sunshine per year and an average annual temperature of 21ºC. Los Alcazares is well equipped with supermarkets, banks, cinema, theatre and a petrol station. It also has many bars and restaurants, with an added selection of bars overlooking the beach at regular intervals along the 5km esplanade.

Other activities available locally include; tennis, horseriding, bike hire, walks (local nature reserves). The entire Roda resort will be managed by the De Vere group, this will include a 5 star hotel and spa, opening in 2009.
