About the Owner

I have enjoyed skiing in the French Alps for 30 years and particularly love the 3 valleys. I chose this apartment because it gives direct access to that area, is incredibly easy to get to from Chamberry or Geneva and much cheaper than Val Thorens. The area is bursting with character. The town of St Jean de Maurienne is a short drive, as is St Michel and Modanne. The Tour de France passes through St Jean most years. Its interesting that the French who live in Chamberry or Lyon choose to access the three valleys from Orelle. The apartment is very easy to reach, has great skiing, is a lovely village AND is cheaper than Val Thorens/3 Vallees area.

I took time and great care in furnishing the apartment and it is a very comfortable, peaceful place from which to enjoy a great skiing holiday.

St jean de maurienne (where the tour de france passes through) 15 mins. St michel de maurriene. 5 mins. Chamberry 50mins . Turin 1. 30 hr.

Further Details:

There is free, dedicated underground parking with the apartment. On site there is a supermarket, a restaurant and bar, swimming pool and spa, the main reception building and bar has free wi fi. There is a launderette on site. At the telecabine there is a ski hire shop with very cheap ski hire prices, a ski shop, a bar and the ski school. The apartment is situated just 5 mins from St Michel where there is a large super market and numerous bars and restaurants. The beautiful town of St Jean de Maurienne is a 15 mins drive and has many really nice restaurants and bars. The Tour De France passes through there each summer. turin is just 1.30 hr away. Annecy is 1.30 hr away. The skiing in the area is fantastic with snow sure conditions at Val Thorens from December until May each year.

Outside there is a spacious balcony enjoying amazing views over the surrounding mountains. Outside: The complex benefits from a residents only swimming pool and spa. In the spa is a steam room, jacuzzi and sauna. There are also relaxation and massage rooms Utility Room: Ski Locker Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included and all duvets.
