Bella Luce is a restored traditional trullo. It has a private swimming pool and the large garden is completely enclosed making it ideal for children. Outside there is also a covered patio with dining table and chairs, plus a barbeque and a pizza oven. Internally the accommodation offers a living/dining area beneath 2 natural stone trullo cones, a fitted kitchen, 2 double bedrooms (the second of which can be made up as a twin or double), a single bedroom and a bathroom. The trullo is located in a quiet country lane, whilst not feeling at all isolated and is within walking distance to a restaurant, and also just a short 10 minute drive from Martina Franca, one of Puglia's most beautiful and popular cities.

Activity and Interests


The trullo is situated midway between the Adriatic Coast and Ionian Sea. Both coasts are just 30-40 minutes away by car, giving easy access to arguably some of the best beaches in Italy.


The nearest airport is Brindisi, which is approximately 60 minutes drive away from the Trullo. There is also Bari airport, which is about a 70 minute drive away. These airports are served from the UK by Ryanair (both Brindisi and Bari) and British Airways (Bari).


The nearest town is Martina Franca (6km) with a very good selection of shops, restaurants, pizzerias, cafes, supermarkets etc. In the opposite direction is Ceglie Messapica (15km), known as 'the Gastronmic town' with a great selection of restaurants all very popular with locals from miles and miles around! The 'must-see' towns of Alberobello (a UNESCO World Heritage site), Cisternino, Locorotondo and Ostuni can each easily be reached within a 30 minute drive from the trullo.

Booking Notes:
A 30% deposit (non-refundable) is required at the time of booking, with the balance payment to be paid 8 weeks before holiday commencement date.

Changeover Day:
Flexible arrival and departure dates, subject to availability. Please check the availability calander which is regularly kept up to date.

Notes on prices:
A 'damage deposit' of £150 is requested to be paid along with the final balance payment for your holiday. This damage deposit is fully refundable after your departure should no such damages have occured. A supplement of €100 is payable locally should the central heating be required. The swimming pool is generally open from the end of June to the end of September.

  • Notes on accommodation: A travel cot and high chair can be provided upon special prior request. The property benefits from central heating for the cooler months such as April and October. The swimming pool is generally open from the end of June to the end of September. Outside: The property has a fully enclosed garden with an abundance of olive and fruit trees. There is a private swimming pool of 8 x 5 metres (maximum), and a covered patio area with wooden dining table, perfect for 'al fresco dining'. In addition there is also a BBQ and separate pizza oven. Furniture includes dining table, chairs, sun loungers with cushions and umbrellas. A carport provides shaded off-road parking for the car. Utility Room: Located outside with washing machine. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The property is cleaned and linen/towels changed once per week. Linen and towels are included (1 hand towel, 1 bath towel and 1 pool towel per person). Additional cleaning can be arranged if required at an agreed fee to be paid locally.
