Recently Renovated Apartment in Albufeira - Close Proximity to Numerous Restaurants, Bars and Shops

The apartment is situated in an aparthotel on the hillside with great views of the Old Town, Fisherman's Beach and out over the Atlantic. There is a huge wraparound balcony and guests say they love sitting outside enjoying the view, or eating al fresco.

The Montechoro Strip and world class golf courses are a short cab ride away. We can also arrange competitive airport transfers should you require who also offer tailor-made days out around Portugal to suit your personal needs.

The apartment is very family friendly as the balcony is on the ground floor not up high. Within the apartment you will find our visitor pack giving you details of great places to eat and visit during your stay. We also provide a welcome pack enabling you to have a hot or cold drink on arrival and settle in with the essentials before having to rush out to the supermarket.

We like to improve the apartment over the quieter winter months and this year we have converted to a luxurious 2-bed apartment without losing that bright and airy, spacious feel that our guests treasure so much. We have also installed a brand new kitchen with all the usual amenities.

We have also installed satellite TV giving a huge choice of English channels.

We try to ensure that we look after our guests and cater to their every need.

Why Phillipa Read chose Albufeira

I fell in love with Albufeira when staying at a friend's apartment and immediately bought one in the same complex. The apartment is on a hill overlooking the Old Town, Fishermans' Beach and the sea. It has a beautiful view and a large wraparound balcony on which to enjoy it. The Old Town and Beach are around 5 minutes' walk away and the Strip with its bars and Karaoke clubs is also a short taxi ride away. This means you can enjoy all that Albufeira has to offer, but are far enough away that you can close out the nightlife and get a good nights sleep! Albufeira has two distinct faces: the heat with the hustle and bustle of summer and the cool quieter winter months. I love them both!

What makes this apartment unique

My apartment is large and airy with its beautiful views. Guests that have stayed comment on how comfortable and homely it is as well as how spacious. They love relaxing in the sitting room, or sitting on the balcony enjoying the view. It is only a few steps away from the pool and the balcony is large enough to sunbathe with a separate area to sit in the shade and eat alfresco!

In January 2016 I had a new kitchen installed together with a second bedroom. The remainder of the apartment has also been decorated just last year.

The apartment is refreshed and maintained by our English friends who live nearby and are only a quick phone call away. Faro airport is about 30 minutes away and with a flight of around 2 and a half hours from London, it is such an easy journey.

Fisherman's Beach, the most famous and picturesque in Albufeira, is just a few minutes' walk away.

Travel:

Faro approx 30 minutes' drive. We can arrange very reliable and competitive transfers or car hire if needed.

Distances:

Mini supermarket a handy 2 minute walk away. Major supermarket is just over 5 minutes' walk.

Old Town Square less than 5 minutes' walk. Montechoro Strip 5 minutes by car or scenic tourist train ride away. All cabs between the 3 points are just approx 4 euros.

Further Details:

Supermarkets, shopping centre, bars and restaurants all within a few minutes' walk. Local market information available at the apartment. Range of cuisines catered for in the Old Town and Montechoro Strip, all within 5 minutes' reach.

Some of the best restaurants in Albufeira are close to the apartment, the rest only a few minutes' walk.

Algarve Shopping complex is a short cab drive away. Huge shopping Mall in Guia only 15 minutes' drive.

Many activities, such as golf, water parks, go-karting, sea sports all available throughout the Algarve.

Lovely apartment, helpful owner, would stay again

Stayed here in May 2017 with my husband and another couple. The apartment was lovely and clean and in a nice peaceful location. When we arrived the owner had left some essentials like tea, coffee, juice, water etc. for us which I thought was a very nice touch. Phillipa, the owner, was extremely helpful sending us various information on good restaurants, things to do, taxi numbers etc. The pool was lovely and peaceful with only a couple of other people using it. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would indeed come back myself again. It is in a great location with bars and superb restaurants only a few minutes walk away and also a supermarket. It is also only a short walk into the old town where there are bars and restaurants in abundance and of course the beach. The apartment also has the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in when on holiday. I do suffer with slight back problems and it is really dificult to find a good bed on holiday - but this one was fabulous. Thank you so much Phillipa, we hope to be back again.

Lovely apartment

Not long back from a short 4 night break at this wonderful apartment. It's beautifully decorated and feels like home from home. The kitchen is modern,clean and well equipped all dishes etc were clean and glassware shining no need to start washing before using. The lounge area was comfortable and spacious and exactly as described. The bathroom was clean and modern with a nice shower n bath with decent water pressure. The small double bedroom had probably one of the comfiest beds I've ever had in holiday and the twin room was very spacious although my daughter n sister did say the beds were ok but maybe a wee bit in the firm side but that's personal preference. The terrace is large with beautiful views over the old town and catches the sun all day long. Seats table and loungers all provided plus clothes airer. The terraced had small gate which led you down to the pool. The apartment is is a very quiet complex not noise as such. I've stayed here many times and nearly always have the pool to ourselves more or less. Phillipa was very helpful and efficient supplying all the details and info we required. Arranging our airport transfers also. Lovely friendly and no amount of questions seem a problem. Will def stay here next time we are going to Albufeira

I am so pleased you were happy with our apartment and yes, the new bed is superb isn't it?! Makes you not want to return home. The single beds have typical Portuguese mattresses, which I agree are two firm for me, but lots of our guests prefer them. This way, we hope to keep everyone happy ;) Thank you for the kind comments about my service. We love to share our beautiful apartment and try to ensure that we give a complete service to our guests, so it is lovely when our efforts are appreciated. Very spacious apartment with lovely views.

Spacious apartment with lovely views over the old town,it is being refurbished at the moment so was a little dusty in places but it has a lovely new kitchen,comfortable lounge area and a large balcony that catches the sun most of the day. The owner is very helpful and sends lots of information about the area.

It was me staying in the apartment immediately before you, so I was a little surprised by the comment, but have taken it on board and spoken to the cleaners. Now the renovation is complete, I am confident this problem no longer exists, but thank you for bringing it to my attention. I'm pleased you enjoyed our lovely new kitchen and I've placed a photo on this website. Like you, we really enjoy sitting on the balcony soaking in the sun, the view and the atmosphere of Albufeira. we had a fantastic time in a fantastic apartment with wonderful views looking over the town and towards the sea ,The apartment has plenty of space and the sofas are so so comfortable .the owners could not have been more helpful with giving lots of information about the area and things to do and were to ieat we were very impressed thank you Phillipa
