Villa in Westridge, Davenport, Florida, USA - Peaceful Location, 15 Minutes from Disney and all Attractions

The property is in a quiet well maintained residential location providing a relaxed environment after a hectic day out. You can sit on the pool deck enjoying a drink watching the sun go down, overlooking a beautiful vista of established trees and shrubs. It is fully air conditioned with free Wifi and local US/Canadian calls.

The property has 5 bedrooms, Master Suite with queen bed, fitted wardrobes, TV and ceiling fan, a large ensuite containing 2 sinks, a large walk in shower and large bath.

The 2nd/3rd bedrooms contain queen beds, ceiling fans, fitted wardrobes, the larger of the two has a TV. They share a bathroom with walk in shower, sink and toilet. This bathroom leads onto the pool deck, convenient when you finish swimming and need to shower.

4th/5th bedrooms are twin rooms with single beds, fitted wardrobes and share a bathroom with full bath, sink and toilet, shower is above the bath.

A travel cot and high chair is available if required for babies/toddlers

It has a fully fitted kitchen with cooker, large fridge, larder, dishwasher, electric kettle/coffee maker and the usual cooking pots/pans, utensils and cutlery. Off the kitchen is a utility room with washer, dryer, ironing board and iron.

The large family room is overlooked by the kitchen and contains, two settees, side tables and a coffee table, TV cabinet with TV, radio/CD and DVD player with DVD's/CD's for your enjoyment.

There is also a selection of books .

There is a niche which seats 4 peoople.

A separate dining area seating 6 people and a further lounge with two settees and coffee tables where you can sit quietly and read a book.

One hour either way to the wonderful Gulf Coast and Atlantic Beaches and of course, nearer still are the Disney attractions and all the shops for those wonderful bargains.

A children's play area is within easy walking distance on our sub division, together with Tennis Courts and a comunal swimming pool and Cabana. The conservation area with local wildlife is across the street from the house where you can sometimes catch a glimse of the resident alligator, however, please be aware that these are not to be fed.

Local supermarkets including Walmarts and Publics are a two minute drive away.

Whether you enjoy dining/shopping or playing a round of golf, these are all within close proximity.

We are a retired English couple who enjoy our home for 3 months of the year. We are joined by our family and their children just love the large spacious pool and plenty of space in the living areas for them to play.

Why Peter Tyler chose Westridge

We consider this to be our second home and have furnished it to the highest standard, always updating and decorating to keep it pristine. It is a very peaceful and private plot, with a beautiful vista from the pool overlooking grassy areas with mature trees and shrubs. The oversized pool ie 30ft x 15ft is south facing, so gets the sun all day with a large lanai for shade if you want it. We have 2 large living areas and plenty of space for 10 guests.

What makes this villa unique

We like the position of the plot which has plenty of space between the houses and is not overlooked by any other pools, as is the case with many of the newer homes. It is very peaceful with 50% of the homes being US residents which makes it a safe environement

Notes on accommodation: The property is fully air-conditioned and centrally heated, depending on climate. Access to the property is by keypad on front door so no keys required. The property is also fully alarmed. Suitable for children, doors leading onto pool area are alarmed. Outside: The large pool measures 30 x 15 foot and is private. Heating is available at an additional charge. Outside is a covered area with patio furniture and table and chairs where you can enjoy a meal as the sun goes down or just lounge in the sun should you wish. Surrounding the outside perimeter is a large grassed area. Westridge offer a recreation facility including community pool, children's play area, tennis court, basket ball court and soccer field within a 5 minute walk away. Utility Room: Large utility comprising of washer, dryer, ironing board and iron plus airer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels and linen are included. The property is cleaned on arrival and departure. Other: Formal lounge area contains two and three seater sofas with coffee tables, is nice for relaxing after your meal or just sit quietly reading a book. Formal dining area has seating for six people where you can enjoy your evening meal.

Fantastic Florida villa

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful villa. It is truly a lovely villa and has everything that you need to enjoy your stay. The location is really good and very central for interstate 4 & the 192. There is a publix close by and a huge Walmart about 4 miles away. Celebration and champions gate are two ares with fantastic eateries and are very close to the villa and an English pub virtually around the corner. We met the owner and he was very welcoming.

The villa itself is amazing and has a great electronic key on the front door so no responsibility for keys. My husband and I visit florida every year and have been in many different villas and find this system by far the best. There is a safe for your personal belongings like passports and money etc. And a telephone which I used with a phone card I bought from publix this allowed me to phone home. The WiFi is fast and very easy to access with the password. The villa is so comfortable it’s like home with all the appliances that you might require. The pool area is large with a great area to sit and plenty of furniture and outdoor lighting for sitting out at night and the pool is huge. The only thing that we felt let it down was how hard the bed was and my husband and I struggled for the first few nights but we did get used that. Overall I would definitely recommend this villa and would most definitely return it was amazing you will not be disappointed if you book this villa it’s perfect.

This is our third stay at this villa.

We have stayed three times now, the villa is very clean and tidy. It is maintained to a high standard. The owners had renewed a few things since our last stay.

The villa is very close to parks restraunts and food shops.

A large clean house that perfectly suited our stay

Everything was there, working, and ready when we arrived. The house is large and gave my family plenty of room. The neighborhood was also nice, and I met a couple of the neighbors. I will seek to stay here again with my family when we vacation in Florida.

The Gulf Coast or Atlantic Beaches are within an hour's drive either direction.

Disney Theme Parks are a 15 minute drive and Downtown Disney is approximately 25 minutes drive.

Universal Studies and Sea Life is approximately 35 minutes drive.

Posner Park is a new development around 2 miles drive along the 27 housing, shops, restaurants and bar together with a brand new Cinema.

Champions Gate has a beautiful Golf Course, an array of shops, including a Publix supermarket and various restaurants which is also around 2 miles drive.

There is a very quaint little town called Celebration which has a unique water fountain where children can play, a beautiful lake to walk around and various rocking chairs to sit and watch the world go by, whilst enjoying a nice cool drink from one of the various restaurants surroung it where you can enjoy a lunch or evening meal. You can also browse the boutique type shops and on Sundays they hold a farmer's market displaying fresh produce. All in all it makes for a very relaxing day out.

There are various other restaurants and supermarkets close by., and the 192 is just a couple of miles in one direction with the I4 in the other direction off the 27.


Orlando International Airport is about 30 minutes drive and Sandford is 1 hour away by car. Car hire is essential.


Disney Parks are a 15 minute drive away. As are the local shopping malls. There are a vast range of restaurants ie Applebees, McDonalds, Wendy's, Burger King, Deny's; the nearest being five minute drive.

Further Details:

Publix supermarket, Gas Station, Banks and Pharmacy are only half a mile drive away on the Berry Town Centre complex. A large Walmart is just a further 5 mins drive along the 27. In the other direction within a 10 min drive you will find a brand new shopping experience called Posner Park which includes a large Penny's, Dick's Sporting Goods, Ross, Target, Best Buy, a large book store and many other smaller shops to stroll around. Across the road from this complex you will find further restaurants.

Changeover Day:
The propoerty is available Saturday to Saturday ideally, but we are prepared to be flexible if needs be.

Notes on prices:
Rental rates are in UK pounds, for full occupancy. however, we can offer our home as a 3 or 4 bedroom let at a reduced rate. PLEASE CALL FOR DETAILS.
Any week including 24, 25, 26, 27 December and 31 January, Good Friday. Easter Monday will be charged @ £550 per week.
Pool Heating is charged at £100.00 per week. A Security Deposit is taken to cover any breakages or damage, this will be refunded on return to your home address. Short term late availability offers negotiable.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
