Fantastic holiday, Fantastic property

  • 5 of 5

After using villas for many years, we found the information from the owner was exceptional with respect to the directions and things to do. The villa was secluded with great views over the hills and was equipped to a very high standard. The pool was perfect and very large (we loved the duck thermometer) and lots of space to laze about with ample shade if needed. The beaches were within a 20 minute drive and the Praia Da Rocha beach was particularly spectacular. We would not hesitate to reccomend this villa and would hope to return in the future

Great Holiday

  • 5 of 5

A lovely quiet villa in the countryside. It is very well equipped with everything you could need, it is very obvious that the owners really think of it as their home while they are here. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to anyone else. The owners are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The only down-side is that we had to come home !!!! Thank you

Perfect Holiday

  • 5 of 5

"Fabulous" What a wonderful villa Casa Perola is. Set in a great location with beautiful views across the mountains, great pool and well equipped. Located near to shops, restaurants and the beaches are about 20 minutes away by car - what more could you ask for.

A big thank to Yvonne with so much useful information regarding our stay in Silves. Highly recommend a visit to The Medieval Festival held in August.

Would love to visit again soon.

Fantastic villa in Algarve countryside

  • 5 of 5

Casa Perola is a beautiful villa, just lovely, well equipped where you can watch and enjoy the sunset from a stunning pool ...

Peaceful location in the countryside but yet close to the coastline (1h to Tavira or to Sagres) and Silves (10 minutes drive).

Yvonne is so kind and helpful.

I highly recommend this property if you love peace and countryside location.

I hope to return soon !

Casa Perola - Loved it!

  • 5 of 5

A beautiful spacious villa set in gorgeous surrounding away from the hustle & bustle. A superb 'get away' located in a perfect spot to explore what Portugal has to offer.

The villa has great facilities, is kept scrupulously clean, well maintained and has a cracking swimming pool with stunning views.

The owner is friendly and attentive, kept us up to date and well informed at all times, nothing was too much trouble and her advise was gratefully received (even though this was our 5th visit to Portugal)

Biased perhaps (I love Portugal) I would certainly recommend Casa Perola to friends and family who would like a 'get away' and don't mind driving whilst on holiday and would certainly be happy to stay again.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your amazing Villa, it was all and more than promised by the description. Casa Perola was completely private, quiet, very clean, well maintained and really comfortable. Everything you could possibly need was there. The pool was superb, it was clean and large, and we all enjoyed our regular dips to cool off. The Villa is in a beautiful rural location with bars and restaurants close by, the Art'aska bar in Silves does the most amazing smoothies! As the Villa is central it gave us easy access along the coast in both directions to discover so many beaches and areas of interest. It is also close to several water parks which our boys really enjoyed. Both Yvonne and Steven did everything possible to ensure our journey went smoothly and our stay memorable. I would highly recommend this Villa and we will be returning in the future, to explore more of this wonderful area of Portugal.

From the Owner

We originally bought a piece of land and had Casa Perola built to our own specifications in 2005. When we first viewed the land it was so lovely looking over the valley at the wonderful views we just sat there and closed our eyes and enjoyed the quietness of it all and that is what decided us to buy and build. We had to take down the old building but we did renovate the Old outside Kitchen and bread oven, now used as storage. Because we are on a hillside the pool had to be built into the side of it and so is level with the top floor and has lovely views of the Monchique mountains. Although we are rural in location we liked the fact you can get anywhere in about 20-25 minutes. We only started to rent out in 2008 and so far all our guests have enjoyed the location.

A car is essential and only a 45 minute drive from Faro airport. There are several car hire company's that operate from Faro airport and it is advisable to book your car hire prior to arrival.

Casa perola is situated quite centrally to be able to get to lots of interesting places all within 10-20 minutes. While at portimeo enjoy a walk along the promenade to the shops and also try one of the many fish restaurants situated under the old bridge, who specialise in sardines. Caldas de monchique is an absolute charming ancient spa town.

lagos is also well worth a visit with its bustling marina, which has its own parade of shops and restaurants and a fort. From the Owner

Being only a short drive from the beaches is lovely for a early morning walk. Ideal for bird watchers and walkers. A really away from it all holiday or if you want a bit of the bright lights there is Portimeao, Lagos, Carveiro, Silves which are only a short drive away and then back to the tranquility of the villa. In fact the best of both worlds.
