Super holiday. Great apartment

Great apartment. Clean, spacious and well equipped. Well located with great views of the 6th tee. Good choice of pools, which were never too busy even in height of summer school holidays. Enjoyed paddle tennis. Visited Duquesa, Ronda, Mihas, Puerto Banus, Jerez and Cadiz but always happy to come back to this super apartment. Would happily recommend to others.

Location

We chose this property as it provides great access along the Costa del Sol from Malaga all the way down to Tariffa and on to Cadiz. We love the local area which offers so much for everybody with the beaches, marina, restaurants, shops, excellent walks and traditional Spanish andalucian town of Manilva so close by.

Nearest Airport : Gibraltar / Malaga at 40 Kilometres Nearest Golf : La Duquesa Golf Nearest Restaurant : Many at 500 Metres Nearest Beach : La Duquesa at 1500 Metres Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

Puerto de la Duquesa is situated between Marbella and Gibraltar and is one of the nicest ports along the whole of the Costa del Sol. The blue flag beach and port itself is a 20 minute walk away and has an attractive promenade and a wide range of shops, restaurants and entertainment for all ages. Sabinillas town is a pleasant 20 minute walk from the apartment, as is the small fishing village in the Castillo with its excellent range and variety of fish restaurants.

Travel:

Malaga airport is 45 minutes by car, Gibraltar 25 minutes and Jerez about 1.5hrs. These airports are easily reached from the UK by budget airlines including Thomsonfly, Easyjet and Monarch. The flight time is approximately 2.5 hours. La Duquesa is conveniently accessible by main coastal roads or a new toll motorway which is great value and costs about 10 Euros. It is probably preferable to hire a car but not essential.

Estepona - 10 minutes.

Sotogrande 20 minutes.

Marbella/Puerto Banus - 30 minutes.

Gibralter - 30 minutes.

Tariffa - 40 minutes.

Malaga - 60 minutes.

Further Details:

Other activities around the area include horse riding, sailing, diving, fishing, jetskiing and go karting. In Estepona you have the Selwo African game reserve and you are a short drive away from the aqua parks of Mijas and the cable lift and marine park in Benalmadena. The local tourist information centre in Estepona is ideal for obtaining further details and leaflets on local activities and events.

A non refundable deposit of 25% is required to confirm your reservation. The balance plus a security deposit of £100 is to be paid in full six weeks before departure. The security deposit will be refunded in full if there are no breakages and the apartment is left in the condition it was found in and the keys have been safely returned. Our normal changeover times are for arrival not before 3pm and departure by 10am (or anytime that day if the apartment is not booked back to back).

Changeover days are flexible allowing you to take advantage of considerably cheaper mid week flights.

The apartment is well equipped, beautifully furnished and directly overlooks the golf course. It has a much larger terrace than most with exceptional views of the golf course and down to Estepona Bay. Duquesa Village itself has a paddle tennis court and a variety of adult and children’s swimming pools; one of which is just a few metres away.

Ideal for families with children as you can see the main pool from the rear of the apartment. Outside: There are four shared swimming pools and a paddle tennis court within the beautifully landscaped gardens of Duquesa Village. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are provided and are changed once a week.
