Chalet Christy, re-furbished with oak flooring throughout & new hallway winter 2014, built over 2 floors, being one of the original buildings in Haute Nendaz, it enjoys an enviable position, 50m from the main lift station, whilst only a few mins walk to the town with its many shops and restaurants.

Central location, although quiet. Chalet Christy, accommodates 16/18 people, with 8 bedrooms with 6 shower rooms. Spacious lounge with TV, DVD, satellite/cable, UK and foreign channels, wi-fi, large leather sofas and quality furnishings. Oak dining table and leather chairs seats 16. Ski lockers opposite the chalet.

Chalet Christy offers catered or B/B during the winter and self catered holidays throughout the summer. Outside there is a large Jacuzzi hot tub, barbecue, and garden furniture.

External car parking for 4 cars.

About the Owner

Having more than 20 years experience in the hospitality industry in the UK, we decided to relocate full time to Nendaz, after having a holiday chalet in the resort since 1999.

In 2006, we purchased Chalet Christy, to be ran as a catered chalet/B&B. Registered Swiss company.

We live in the resort year round, on hand to provide assistance to our guests during the summer months too.

Chalet Grand Loup, is also available on a B&B basis throughout the year.

We, three families from Holland: Adults and kids, had a great time at the Chalet Christy.

We enjoyed our children, each other, the skiing, the beautiful mountains.

When we ended up in the Chalet after a day of hard work we were incredibly spoiled by Mark and Dudley. We had the best meals and the neatest home.

Baku

Christy is owned by a nice British couple Steve & Karen, and this year was staffed by Dudley and Mark who really went out of their way to make sure we all had a good time and were well fed and wined. The Chalet rooms are roomy and well appointed, although the bunk rooms are a little smaller.

There is a hot tub outside to mend weary muscles. The chalet is located close to the tele-cabine and ski-bus.

The village of Nendaz there are plenty good bars and restaurants to entertain. Edel-weis bar is very close which is a perfect ares-ski spot.

We purchased Chalet Christy in November 2006, having realised the potential to run the chalet on a catered basis, due to its close proximity to the ski lifts and resort centre.

Special interest holidays:

During the summer, we offer mountain bike guiding, as well as tailor made activity holidays which include, numerous sports such as, white water rafting, canyoning, hydro-slide, parapenting, climbing, hiking and MTB.

Golf packages can be organised, in fact if we have missed anything, just let us know and we can arrange it!

In the valley, there are numerous spa/wellness centres ready to pamper your every whim.

Coast/Beach:

Lake Geneva, 45 mins by car, has numerous watersports as well as sailing and an assortment of beaches for swimming and relaxation.

Travel:

Nendaz is easily accessible, being 160km drive from Geneva, but also serviced by regular train/bus connections. Transfer tickets can be arranged from Geneva airport at a cost of approx £95, with children under 16, travelling free, with parents. Driving distance from Calais, is approx 8/9 hours. Sion airport, 30 mins.

Distances:

Lake Geneva/Montreux 45mins by car. 1hr by train. Chamonix 1hr by car. Zermatt 1hr 30mins, by car/train. Interlaken 2hrs by car. Italian Lakes 2 hrs by car.

Further Details:

There are a number of supermarkets, banks, post office, Doctors, Dentist, Chemist all located within the resort. During the summer, tennis, outdoor swimming pool, bikes rides, MTB trails, hiking, are some of the outdoor activities available within Nendaz.
